To all my dear citizens of The Allied States of Big Long Now,

Recently I have noticed rather a wide barrage of questioning about homosexuality in BLN, since our government has made no opinion on it, but that is to change in this address.

After careful consideration, we have decided to accept homosexuals as any other citizen, and we hereby grant them the same civil rights as the rest of our citizens, including the right to marry one of the same gender. While we are not endorsing homosexuality, we are not going to condone this choice of life either.

However, any homosexual citizens not living within the borders of The Allied States of Big Long Now are not allowed to marry in Big Long Now, if the country they are from does not allow same-sex marridge, in order to avoid mass controversy from another nation. We do allow homosexuals not from Big Long Now to marry if their country allows it.

We would like any input from neighboring nations about the choice Big Long Now has made, and if it is the proper step towards complete equality.

we would like to congratulate your country on its more open-minded policy, as homophobia is in effect the same is both racism and sexism.

The Federation applauds Big Long Now's efforts towards a more egalitarian society and will reciprocate by allowing BLN citizens to be married in the FACS.

It's great to see that there are more nations willing to accept homosexuality. We at La Famiglia applaud your decision.

I also believe it was a wise move to outlaw non BLN citizens from marrying if their home country does not allow it. At least some controversy can be avoided then-and that's always a good thing.

Buena fortuna to you in the future,
Don Johan Glas
