And now we turn to Joanne Miller, field correspondant in Lyongate. Joanne?
Thank you Chuck.
With an increased budget for military spending, the small nation of Lyongate has recently began a much anticipated military build-up.
Lyongate, known for its population of 26 million and mandated military service, has been researching technology that will bring it up to speed with its peers within its region, the Eastern Pacific.
The small nation has expanded its air force three fold over the last two weeks, with orders to Boeing and Lockheed International being contracted out.
Munitions sales are up, according to a well-known government contractor who specializes in building things that destroy others. A spokesman from that company has said that were it not for the recent build-up, their company would have had to have started looking outside the borders for customers. The spokesman asked not to be named.
What does it mean? Only time will tell, but something big is about to happen in Lyongate. Back to you, Chuck.
Thank you Joanne. More news on this story as it develops.
