Statement on Homosexuality
Dear Comrades,
After reading Kaiser Treize Jäkal's speech on homosexuality, we have decided to release our own statement on this issue.
As is stated in the scriptures of the Holy Druzian Religion, homosexuality is not a disease. Instead, it is a genetic disorder.
However, this does not imply that homosexuals are to be mistreated in any way. God has made homosexuals just as he has made heterosexuals, but the institution of homosexuality cannot be approved.
Homosexuality is a genetic disorder that, like any other genetic problem, needs to addressed in two ways:
1. Medicine and treatment, failing which,
2. The homosexuals have to accept heterosexual lifestyles.
Homosexual actions cannot be condoned under any circumstances. If a homosexual does intend to continue his/her unholy homosexual lifestyle, he or she must be punished with execution.

Why not simply exile them, there are plenty of nations that would be willing to accept them. . . cheaper too, and you don't have to deal with nations that are gung-ho about civil liberties.
It is worse than a sin, it is an adbonimation. Punishible by exile or death.
If the same nations that are gung-ho about civil liberties are willing to pay us for the queers, we will gladly exile them.

Ya know, if you belive homosexuality is genetic, you could just let them live gay lifestyles and be rid of the problem in a generation or two, as they'd be willingly removing themselves from your nation's genepool. Open acceptiance would encourage them to come 'out of the closet' earlier, reducing the change of them having children while pretending to be hererosexual.
After that, just make it illegal from them to procreate, instead offering adoption to minimise the chances of them reproducing anyway.
It may not eliminate the problem, but, if your belife that it's genetic is right, it will radicly reduce the number of gays in your population.

This ignorant one would humbly suggest that if the gene is only active in the homozygote, and the heterozygote is superior to either homozygote, than the trait will be maintained regardless of elimination of those homozygotic for homosexuality, and that is assuming a one locus gene. If there are multiple genes (likely many since homosexual-heterosexual behavior is a gradient), it becomes even more complex, especially as certain genes may be linked, preventing independent crossing-over during meiosis. Even if all genes which move an individual towards homosexual tendencies are deleterious, linkages with unrelated and beneficial genes will still maintain the trait in the population. Furthermore, there is reason to suspect that some genes which influence sexual attitudes are linked to genes which are associated with masculinity or femininity, and thus genes which cause a male to become homosexual may influence a woman towards heterosexuality, so stabilizing selection would occur.

To all nations in this forum.
I will instigate all nations that are taking place in this discussion to be more carefully on how you express yourself when giving ideas on such touchy topic. First of all you are talking about human beings and not cattle. You cannot buy a person, that is so ethical and politically wrong, I mean this is an expression that should have disappeared when the abolishing of slavery finally came and restricted ignorant people of mistreating other human beings.
Secondly if you really do not know anything about the topic, you should not say anything and just read and learn from a person that has knowledge about it (if such a thing exists in this forum).
Third, do not judge because you never know who in your own family is gay, starting from your father, brother or uncle….. so just to be a little bit sensitive, pay extra attention when expressing your ideas in order to avoid offending people.

Is completely out of sense, that still on the 21st century there are people that care who has sex with whom. Nobody asks a straight person what sort of activities does he/her like to do while being in bed, therefore no polemic whatsoever should exist on the tastes of a gay person at any of the activities that a homosexual individual does. Is just a matter of courtesy.

OOC: Not true. Look at the typical purity test. Consider the fact that college students often take purity tests in groups, and sometimes everybody knows what everyone else answered. Thats tantamount to asking what other people like to do in bed (in fact, the authors of the purity test are explicitly asking, though they dont get to hear the answers), and there are much more blatant instances i can think of too. (Not to mention more blatant people). And you know, should you be in a relationship with someone, its generally a good thing to know what the other person likes/dislikes, so thats a case where you *should* ask.
And why limit it to bed? ;)
