The Crookfur giude to delaing with Chaos deamons:
Step 1: Play 2nd edt
Step 2: get a Cheif librarian and a Inquisitor lord (lv4 psyker upgrade of course).
Step 3: Mess the power decks up so that you get the quickening, vortex, halocaust, purge deamon, lightning arc and any other powers you like.
Step 4: give the one with the quikening combat drugs and a decent force weapon and the other one what evr bits and bobs you like (of course termiantor armor and maybe a pyscannon are nice).
Step 5: find the enemy greater deamon, your combat drugs/quickening combo allows one of your pyskers to be able to stand toe to toe in hand to hand even with a blood thirster, non khonrate deamons are of course easy meet for purge deamon.
Ps: Some grey knights also help, as do lots of devastators with lascannons and plasma missiles...
