Storybook Land announces today the beginning construction of two major battleships, the S.B.L. Magic and the S.B.L. Wonder. These two ships will be very similar in construction. The estimated time of completion will be 2 years until the final paint is applied. These will be the first two ships of the Storybook Land (SBL) navy.
Displacement - 38.500 tons (standard), 47,500 tons (full load)
Armament - 8 X 15 in. 45-calibre, 9 X 6 in. 55-calibre, and 12 X 100 mm.
Power - 150,000 shp.
Speed - 30 knots
Dimensions - 247.8 X 33.1 X 10.7 m.
Protection - 327 mm. sides, 383 mm. bulkheads, 170 mm. decks, 430 mm. turrets, and 405 mm. barbettes
