Dear Leader of country, or recipient thereof-

Chellis is facing an imminent danger. Due to government practices, our national animal is dying. In fact, they could face extinction if the government is not careful. Therefore, we ask of you to do your part, by sending us some of your own metal wingless birds. Do your part, or this magnificent creature could become extinct. We arent picky, although we would like the bird to be able to defend itself from predators.

Dear Information Minister A.K. of Chellis

The PrattCo Conglomerate, which I represent, would be delighted to help. However, some clarifications are required. Firstly, there is some confusion as to what you mean by "metal wingless bird," particularly among military circles, where such a phrase is an apt metaphor for ah, various types of weapons. I assume this is just an animal specie, however.

Secondly, there are several types of metals, and metal birds, and we have to inquire what kind of predators would be capable or willing to consume metal birds anyway-- obviously, to defend itself against such predators, some information on their habits would be required, to provide a metal bird physically and socially capable of resisting them.

Thirdly, we are prepared to put to work our biological sciences corps on solving your problem and shipping a suitable animal to your nation over the next 10 years. However, we would like to hear your idea of a good USD value for what this service is worth to your people before committing to anything.
