It was a normal day in Albrook City. Citizens could be seen going about their business as normal. To the ordinary eye the country was the same as aways, soldiers marching down the street, public executions, thousands of peasents begging for money, and milita gangs shooting at each other. No one noticed 35,000 soldiers marching from the North, South, East, and West toward the town center. Maybe they thought they were goverment soldiers, or maybe they were just to tired and weary to care. When the day was over, a smoking town center and leveled goverment buildings were what was on the mind of the people of Gandillion.

A man in a military uniform walks forward from out of the smoking heap and announces his name.

"My name is Ian Gandillion, son of Lord Gandillion. I was mastermind behind this attack. In the name of god and freedom, we must release the country from my fathers dictatorship. For too long we have been thrown around, abused, mistreated, and killed. Our cause is great, our cause is noble, our cause is worth living for, our cause is worth dieing for. I urge every citizen to stand up and fight the immoral goverment."

Gandillion Rebel Makeshift HQ in Albrook

Inside the underground bunker the many general and officers were deciding how to proceed with the war. Ian stood up and said "Quiet, Quiet, Alright what is our current military situation." "Sir, the goverment forces have a rough estimate of 275,000 soldiers in their military. They outnumber us by 150,000 soldiers, however their soldiers are badly trained, and equipt. The only advantage we have number wise, is in combat aircraft" Ian sighed, he knew he had to fight a gurellia war against the goverment. Ian only hoped that more citizens, or countries would join him in his fight. Later that day a message was broadcasted to the world.

We plea to the internation community to send soldiers to our aid. We are fighting a immoral dictatorship that wouldn't mind seeing their whole country fall apart in front of them, if something got in the way of their own personal gain. In our country violence, poverty, and death are the way of life, we are trying to change that but we need your help.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF BOA VISTA

The President of the Commonwealth, under the powers entrusted in him as the Executive Admiral of the Commonwealth Armed Forces, is sending 10,000 troops to the country of Gandillion to support the rebel's fight for Democracy. In addition, destroyers Braga and Setugal has arrived on the shores of Gandillion, waiting to support military missions. On board the destroyers are a total of 5 helicoptor gunships that will provide air support. Finally, a total of 10 missiles are readied to be launched at a moment's notice to strike Loyalist strongholds.

In return for this support, the Commonwealth Government wishes to negotiate a cultural, economic and military alliance with the leaders of the Gandillion Rebel Government and the leaders of Crownguard. If the treaty with Gandillion is approved, the Commonwealth Government will contribute a group of engineers and 10 million dollars to help the country rebuild after the war.

The Allied Government met in the early hours of the morning to discuss this new rebellion. Lengthy hours of discussion ensued, surely they had to help good people overthrow a dictatorship, but what if, like the other rebellion they had supported, this country turned to the darkness of Communism or Socialism. The Allied States could ill afford another venture such as that, however direct intervention at the moment was out of the question. So they worked out a plan favorable to all in the room.

From Naval Command at Corregidor, a small squadron would be detached to watch, it would be put under the command of one of thier most experienced Commodores, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs would be with the squadron as well. It would sit just inside the national waters of Gandillon and monitor the situation, if it appeared a Republic was forming in the oppisition, then full support could be pledged, however if the seeds of Socialism and Communism were already planted, the squadron would withdraw and leave the nation to itself.

At 12:00PM Philadelphia Common Time, the task force was launched from Corregidor, unbenowst to most of the crewmen, an SSD4 Attack Submarine had left the naval base at Formosa earlier to deliver a team of Special Forces soldiers to make contact with the leader of the rebellion. If they could locate him and he agreed to come with them or send a dignitary, they would lead him back to the beaches and on board the ANS Justinian (The Submarine) which would then transfer him to the flagship of the squadron just inside the national waters, the ANS Royal Oak (Pegasus class Heavy Cruiser), where he would meet with the Deputy Minister and Commodore Stark to discuss his plans for a post-war government. If the plans were considered fine with the Deputy Minister, supplies and munitions would begin to be shipped, and even possibly the government might lend several Naval forces to aid the rebels....

As the top goverment military commanders met in the darken room, you could tell it was tense. As Lord Gandillion walked into the room, it grew silent instantly. Lord Gandillion spoke in a quiet, almost whispering tone "The rebels have taken shelter in the city of Albrook, they are well dug in and equipt. I suggest we level the entire city using B-52's and long range artillery". To the suprise of everyone in the room a captain spoke up "Sir, I think that leveling the city wouldn't be the smartest thing to do, nations are starting to side with the rebels, and that would add fuel for the fire." Lord Gandillion said "really is that what you think". Gandillion reached to his side, pulled out a berreta, and shot the captain five times. He then spit in the captains face and said "Thats what I think you F-cking b-tch, any more comments from the peanut gallery." Gandillion pointed to his guard "Get this punkass b-tch out of my sight".

Ian Gandillion pointed to the map of Gandillion. He announced the new mission " Do you see the mountains that curve from Tzen to Kelka's Tower, this is where our next attack will take place. Our scouts report that every day, 15 T-64's and 20 Jeeps, escort twenty cargo trucks through the mountains to Kelka's Tower Military Base. Now these trucks carry ammunition, food, weapons, money, and other supplies. There is one place in the mountains where the narrow road is between two cliffs. I suggest we ambush this convoy when they are driving along this section of the road. 150 soldiers, 35 M1A2's, and 80 Jeeps should do the job well.

Early today, 5 conventional cruise missiles were launched from an undisclosed location in Boa Vista. 1 was directed at a convoy of heavy artillaries on their way to an unknown location.

After heavy analysis of photographs taken by one of our spy satellites and our unmanned spy planes, we concluded that the enemy artillaries were to be positioned near the city of Albrook. We believe the artillaries will be used to destroy the city and the rebel forces.

The rest of the missiles were directed at Government Forces stronghold. Our forces suffered no casualities. Enemy forces casualities are as of yet unknown.

*Several miles off the coast of the island that held the city of Albrook, a slek black shape grew larger, more and more defined. Finally the black hull broke the surface, bathed in the dying rays of the setting sun, the ANS Justinian cruised along the surface, this could only be held for a short while, it was guessed there were heavy sonar and tracking equipment on Solitary Island, which they had passed some time ago. The top hatch popped open, and several crew got out and proceeded down the hull to a black bulge on it, then began to unstrap the raft and prepare it to go on it's own. Several men in forest camo, strange on the submarine, stood with several Navy men waiting for the raft to be readied*

Cpt.(Army) Anders - "Well thanks for the ride"

Cpt.(Navy) Carson - "Yeah, you just remember to get back here within the next 3 days, we can't stay here forever, we have orders to join the fleet if we don't hear from you after sometime"

Cpt. Anders - "I'll keep that in mind, alright guys, let's get going"

*With that Captain anders gave a half salute to Caption Carson, who returned it with a nod. The team of 8, on a mission into a warzone armed with pistols and a few submachine guns, slid off the deck of the Justinian. They took one last look back towards the dark hulk that loomed a few meters away, then turned on the rafts engine, gliding silently away towards Albrook.*

*A few minutes later, sure the team had made it away safely, and marginally sure they had not been spotted, the Justinian closed all it's outer hatches, and slid silently beneath the waves again to begin a patrol around the gulf between the islands.*

*With night already fallen across the land, a small raft drove itself onto the shore, a great commotion as it hit the shore and 6 men jumped out immediately, smg's primed and formed a small perimeter. The men made signals between themselves, 4 moving deeper into the forest. The two in the raft who had been covering from it, climbed out and pulled the raft out of the surf. With the clear signal from the 4 men who had moved into the forest, the remaining 4 dragged the raft into the forest. They disappeared into the treelines, supposedly in an area no so far away from Albrook. And with that, the beach was again dark and quiet, the surf battling itself up towards the treeline, then retreating. But deeper in the forest, 8 men made their way towards the city of Albrook...*

We, the people of the Anarchist Federation of Isla Saudade, want to know more about the rebels (what are they exactly fighting for, what will replace Lord Gandillion's dictatorship and how much support the rebellion has by the population).
We are also surprised that the Lord Gandillion's son is trying to end his father's dictatorship.

*As the operations commence, several hovercraft (modern day ones) arrive at the agreed upon point, unloading box after box of light arms and anti-vehicular weaponry. .223 caliber boxes were dropped next to R Series rifles (too complex to describe...next generation of the OICW). RPGs were stacked neatly as the signal flare was given off and the ships departed without a word. THe Gamarillion would have to come claim the weapons, but they wouldnt hang around to link themselves to it.*

As the battle for control of Gandillion grows more and more bloody, civilians begin to take sides. The fighting between father and son have not died down in any degree. The real suffering people are the common citizens.

This is Anita Brown, her figure is blacked out for security reasons.

I don't know what is happening in my country. It was just a few days ago I was out fetching some water, and a huge explosion ripped me from under my feet. As I scrambled to regain my composure, Lord Gandillion soldiers were running towards me, shouting towards me asking me if I knew anything. Once I got out of the shock, I told them I didn't know anything. One of them put a Ak-74 to my head and said "If your lieing your as good as dead".

Disturbing stories like this are a common thing in Gandillion, after the break "The Death Alleyway".........................................

OOC: Rebel POV in 30-50 minutes

*Captain Anders moved through the mountianous route carving itself towards Albrook, or so the map said. They had gone from the tight insides of the Justinian to a raft on the seas, to dense underbrush, and now dusty mountains. As the team moved over the area, in a very wide staggered wedge, they came across a road, but sometihng on it seemed a bit off, it was very narrow for one, but for some reason it looked disturbed, he couldn't exactly narrow it down, but something was definitely not right.*

*He signalled to the others to get down, and his xo on the mission, 2nd Lieutenant Barkson, crawled over to his position on the small cliff. They were actually some ways away from the road, but the prominence they were on allowed them to get a fairly unobstructed view of the area. He lifted his binoculars and eyed the area closely...*

Anders - "Yeah, looks like someones about to get trashed down there, here look" *He handed Barkson the binoculars. "Right there, nestled between those light rocks, see that?"

Barkson - *He studied the rocks closely, the middle rock seemed unusually angular, something about it... then he realized* "Thats a Tank!"

Anders - "Yeah, and see those soldiers by that light growth over there, someones about to get ambushed, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they've got someone on thier way up here, from here they could setup some RPG's to rip apart whatever it is they intend too"

Barkson - "So.... we should move right?"

Anders - "Well, we don't know yet if they are rebel or government, but if they are rebel we need to make contact, maybe they can take us to thier leader (snicker).

Barkson - "Right right, well the heights come to a steep drop off to the left, no good there, we could backtrack a few meters, there were some rocks I think we could hide in until we know if it is safe to come out"

Anders - *He looked through the binoculars again at the ambush site, feeling very sorry for whoever was coming down that road* "Well! What are we waiting for, get the others and get back down to those rocks, once it's safe to come out we will, let's just hope these are the rebels."

Barkson - "Yes sir"

*And with that Barkson took off down the hill signalling the others to follow, they remained crouched over so thier silhouttes wouldn't be seen over the rocks horizon. They crept into a gathering of rocks near the base of the heights, and waited...*

MILITARY BRIEFING FROM THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF BOA VISTA

The Commonwealth Armed Forces today has launched 50 cruise missiles from undisclosed locations to strongholds and military points of the Gandillion Government. 5 of the missiles hit a building that was deemed as a weapons and munitions storage by our Intelligence Council. Massive explosions occured immediately after impact.

Also, the Commonwealth Armed Forces is sending 10,000 more troops to Albrook to protect the Rebel force controlled city from destruction. In addition, the 1st Commonwealth Fighter Wing has arrived at the Albrook Airport and will be patrolling the skies around the city, two submarines, Belem and Salvador, has arrived at the harbor of Albrook and will patrol the water for hostile forces.

Finally, 10 Boa Vista made Ingenheiro General (General Engineering) SkyFortress 1 series gunships has arrived at the Albrook Airport, where they will be based for the duration of the war. They will provide crucial air support when needed. At the time of the briefing, 3 of the gunships were heading towards a major road to destroy a large military force commanded by the Gandillion Government. Some resistence was reported minutes before the briefing began. No casualities have been reported. Also, at the time of the briefing, a large air bombardment of Narche has commenced.

*Convoy Moving Toward Kelka's Tower*

As the convoy made its way through the mountain roads, everything seemed normal. The birds were singing, the forests looked beautiful, and the waterfalls and streams in the countryside looked magnificent. As the convoy moved further along the dirt road things seemed, a bit different. No one could quite figure out what made them uneasy, but they knew something had changed about the countryside, and the narrow dirt path.

"Everyone get ready, our scouts indicate that the convoy is 4 miles from here. Check your weapons and gather ammo. When the convoy is in striking distance, I will count down from 5-1 and throw a grenade, that is the signal to open fire........"

*10 Minutes Later*

(Whispered Tone of Voice)"Alright get in your positions, here comes the convoy. Here we go .......5.........4.........3........2.........1..........." The captain threw his grenade right on top of a jeep, and the other soldiers began to open fire.

The sergent muttered to the captain, "There is something I don't like about those cliffs up there, it looks unstable. Especially those rocks sitting on the side of the......(Rebel soldier throws grenade)............... WHAT IN THE F-CKING H-LL, THOSE AREN'T ROCKS THOSE ARE TANKS. IT'S A AMBUSH..........." (A bullet from the rebels, hit him straight in the side of the head.) The Convoy was in a complete disarray firing at anything that moved, it didn't look good.............


OOC: Alright, I have to show up for practice, for some damn marching parade in Seattle, or I will fail band. I will post at 9:00 West Coast time or 12:00 East Coast, since my practice is 3 damn hours long.

Hattia will support the government provided that they pledge to improve conditions for their people. Otherwise we will support the rebels. We are readying these forces.
