The S-S government finished contructing a huge space station in neautral space today. This station is to serve as the meeting place for the Space Summit. All nations(Meeting the above requirements) may join in the talks to better unite the spacing nations in NS. We would ask you to provide you own security guards, to protect you sector. We hope all nations will join and get to better understand each other, without war.

OCC- Might as well just get my stuff there right now... Bare with me as I'm not that great with space RP's quite yet...

*The Soviet Bloc frigate, Vepr, and its two escorts, SB-SA3 interceptors come to a rocket-assisted halt outside the station's perimeter...*

The Vepr's captain, Admiral Komrosky hails the station, " This is the Soviet Bloc ship Vepr, we are here carrying our diplomats and their respective guards. We ask for permission to dock..."

*Inside the Vepr, the three diplomats from the Soviet Bloc begin preparing their personal luggage as well as documents and other official things, their guard detail of roughly 30 Spetsnaz also prepare personal effects and their equipment.*

*With that the Vepr proceeds closer and eventually docks at a designated air lock, the diplomatic envoys and their guards shuffle aboard the station with all of their equipment and they proceed to their assigned section/area of the station. After the group has disembarked the frigate the two interceptors proceed into the station's hangar and lock down, the pilots proceeding to assist the diplomats..*

"Roger that, Escorts are moving to patrol."

Do you need any further security? We can maneuver some of our other larger ships into the area for protection.

No sir, the Oracle(Command Carrier) is jumping in to provide fighter stations, and gun battries

did you ever announce this station before? receive any help building it? perhaps have any thread donated to the station? or did it just appear out of thin air?

I've said it before, but I'll say this just once on this thread. Then I'll ignore any further attempts to bring it up.

I don't care. I don't care that an October nation is claiming technology probably more advanced than my own. I don't care that a space station for the purpose of a multi-national summit sprang into existence without warning. I don't care that there are a thousand unofficial rules to playing on the forums.

I'm here to role-play, not rules-play. S-S has put out an invitation for plausible role-play. If you get your panties in a twist about details, that's your problem. Don't join the thread and don't whine about it. Leave the rest of us to role-play in peace.

Thank you.

No thanks. If it's that far away, there would be little point in attending, as events there won't likely effect us.

Okay, now I'm annoyed. This was an essential detail you really needed to point out in the initial post. None of my ships are yet capable of interstellar flight. I'm therefore required to retract my initial post and retcon the fact that neither the Zeus or ambassadors arrived at the station.

We must also withdraw. We assumed that the neutral space was at least in our solar system. We do not have FTL travel and therefore cannot make it to your station.

OOC: The "light space" description in the title is very misleading, since most light-space nations don't want FTL travel.

That's a little bit far for my people. We do not have hyperphotonic travel yet. Our best is about half the speed of light.
