Megrovian militiamen repel anarchists
Yesterday, over one hundred citizens of neighbouring Orcistan swept into Megrovia. Disregarding the laws of the People's Republic, they proceeded to attack the small mining community of Niabnoi, arsonists causing over <£5m> of damage. However, the heroic efforts of the volunteers of the government-funded 1st Niabnoi People's Militia, well trained in urban guerilla fighting, lead to the ambush and eventual retreat of the Orcs. This comes as a blow to the opposition party of Megrovia, the Fiscal Libertarians, whose election strategy had been built on the foundation of the ending of voluntary militias and their replacement with army garrisons. Orcistan's national opinion is as of yet unknown. More information shall follow as it is recieved.

the nation of Euroslavia wishes to send aid to Megrovia. Any medical assistance and financial aid will be sent to their capital at request, and I will need to personally watch this war to see if military options are necessary.
