At dawn on the day of 2nd Tirius, 5328 AP*, the telegram manager of Grigala sent a private telegram to the countries currently fighting an a war called the Second Aquillan war, inviting them to a conference to discuss peace terms. Agrigento, Wakizashi, Commerce Heights, and Aquilla have responded that they will come, and replies are still pending from the countries of Coldorra, The Belmore Family Clan, and Scoobis. When a delagaten arrives, he is required by Grigalan Custom To bow once toward his Country, Then once to the Palace of Grigala. He then States his name and nationality and awaits recognition. Later, he will be ushered into the main hall of the Palace, Where he will be greeted by Minister of Grigalan Foregin Affiars, Lisa Tirian. The dealgates will wait until all delagates from replying countries have arrived. They will then proceed to the conference room, where negotiations will begin.

*(Grigalan Time measurement, as we are in grigala, please use it. The month of Tirius lasts for 32 days, so the month probably won't need changing.),

The Manhattanite delegate arrived in Grigala and did all of the customary gobbledygook (as the delegate would have said if he were Colonel O'Neill from Stargate SG-1 - 'Oh, for crying out loud...' ;) ). I don't feel like RPing right now. :P

Baetica would very much like to know if it could send a Boopsylvanian delegate, to help supervise and arbitrate. We are neutral in this conflict at the moment.

The Manhattanite diplomat replied with something to the effect of, "There are Commerce Heights troops in Wakizashi. If nuclear weapons are used on Wakizashi, they will be used on Aquilla and Alphanasia by Commerce Heights."

"No, we didn't do anything to your armies. You did stuff to our armies!" The diplomat turned away for a moment and rolled his eyes.

Bertie Boop twitched angrily at the word of the Aquillan 'diplomat'. He had learned that he was not only the most obnoxious, but also the highest ranked. A true meritocracy he thought to himself.

The second part of the 'diplomat's statement didn't matter much to him. It was the first that peaked his curiosity. He wondered exactly how the idiot siting across from him expected he could get away with that. While it was true that Wakizashi had not conducted itself well, this was absurd. He had a short conversation with the Baetican Prime Minister a phone that happened to be built into the table, and then spoke following Commerse Heights' delegate.

"I must agree with our Commercial---Commersian? Commerse Heightian? You know who I mean, delegate. That threat is absurd and idiotic, though admittingly just the sort of excrement I should expect a Aquillan diplomat of your rank to expell. You obviously didn't bribe your way up the foreign service ladder. However I am inclinded to worry that their counter is a bit weak. If your people are in fact in transit as your government claims, a claim which we doubt, then bombarding the offending nations with nuclear warheads would have no effect, especially when we take into account the fact that it has already been done.

"Therefore Boopsylvania, speaking on behalf of the Baetican Empire of Esamopia Secundus, state that should Aquilla, Alphanasia, TrippyHippies, or any state currently at war with Wakizashi, irradiate said nation, Baetica will make Sirius D a less than hospitable new home for Aquilla, in conjunction with CH presumably. We have good access, Esamopia Secundus orbiting Saiph and therefore being closer to Sirius than Sol*. We can easily meet you halfway, and gain retrobution for the hypothetical slaughter of millions of innocent Wakizashians.

"We have tried to keep our neutrality in this affair, and intend to do so, assuming Aquilla obeys the laws of good diplomacy, ethics, and logic and does not do as it has threatened."

The Wakizashian diplomat, Prime Minister Himura, Walks into the conference room and takes a seat facing a window. Overhearing the argument between the Mathattanite, Aquillian, and the Baetican diplomats, he adds this:
"My country does not to be deserved to be nuked! My king ordered the regal posters of the fourm to encurage war between Commerce Heights and Aquilla! I assure you, a good deal of the populace and I myself were against that sad move. The foolish actions of our foolish Monarch, King Saurujiro, is no reason to punish the People of Wakizashi, who are already oppressed enough by the king. I implore you to cease this bickering and come up with something that is agreeable to all!

At this point 2000 Kengsaian Gunmen land from 25 Helicopters and surround the Palace, demanding that all delagates "Come out and throw their weapons on the ground."

I'm gonna pay Aquilla back for booting me by killing all the delagates:)

Ending the conference will only help Aquilla. If you want to give them trouble then attack their gravship, which, going by Aquilla's RP skills, is probably skill in perfect condition.

He is an asshole who is only going to the conference because it gives him an excuse to do even more needless destruction, and thanks to you he has an even better reason, because the conference ended in a shootout. If you weren't going on at a different time than him I'd accuse you of being him in a clever ploy. I also don't think he's half that clever. IC: Mr. Boop, one of 102 million with that last name in his home country, was beginning to find the Aquillan diplomat somewhat amusing, in an absurd sort of way. He considered trying to get the diplomat drunk before the next meeting, thinking to himself it would make for quite an interesting show.
There was a short row between the stenographer and the Comm-whatsit delegate over whether Commerce Hts. was spelled with an S. Bertie also found this funny. The conference was quickly turning into a freak show.
He pondered again spiking people's drinks to make it more entertaining, but decided not to. By this time the Aquillan 'diplomat' was talking incoherently again.

The 'diplomat' lowered his voice to the point where Bertie couldn't hear him. Assuming this to be an insult against someone, he leaned over the table, to no avail.
"Boopsylvania, my gravship, is in an Aquillan port. Being put back together."
The pauses in this statement worried Bertie, perhaps the 'diplomat' was about to pass out. Unfortunately that was not the case.
"To the CH Guy, said the Aquilla guy, turning and pointing at the delegate from a country with an adjective he did not know, "When did you get to Wakizashi? Before we left? This part didn't seem too good to Bertie. He made a note of it. Immediately after however the Aquillan guy pivoted and looked at him, across the absurdly large conference table.
"To the Boopsylvania guy," he addressed, "Do you think we're so stupid as to put all our citizens in one colony ship? No! We have hundreds of ships, years apart from each other. Two are on Sirius D already, three more are two weeks away. The last one to be launched is only three months away from earth (just before war started)."
Bertie also made a note of this, and called the Bætican Defense Official Leading the Aquillan Information Decoding Agency, which decided where the Aquillans were making up immpossibilities to help their situation.
Then there was a little beep, which led the Aquillan guy to try and talk quitely into a phone attacted to the table without anyone noticing. After a few seconds he shouted quited into the phone, which, impossible as it sounds, he managed to do. He then sat down.

Bertie looked around. No one else seemed willing to follow that, so he stood up and did so himself.
"Well then. First of all, I'd like to dismiss your claim that you're already on Sirius D. I'll get to that later though. And just in case I'll arrange a way for Bætica to check up on that fact.
"I'd also like to draw attention to the statement made by the Aquillan 'diplomat,'" he made quotation gestures with his hands for diplomat, "I quote, 'Although we will torture that king of his.' Quite an interesting statement. Doesn't seem too civilized. Not only torture, but torturing a king. Thats the stuff good foreign relations are made of!"
He rolled his eyes and lit a cigar, simultaneously in fact.
"You also said something about the threat of throwing you a house warming party," he chuckled at the euphimism to himself, "About how we assumed you sent them all in one ship. While this may sound like he think highly of the decision makers in your state, which by all mines we do not, I must say we assumed you sent multiple ships. We also assumed that, going by all the various reports given so far, that, though it would be stupid, you had them all going at once. I think that, going by the reports given, you are in one big group, and even if you are spread out we could easily beat you to Sirius, and if not we'd have a little fight, and then lie in what for the rest of your population. Its not as if they have the ability to turn back, it is? And I can assure you that unless the forward section of your fleet is going fasting than the rest you are not on Sirius yet. We'll send a scout to see though."
He glanced down at his notes, then give a little gasp. "I've found another good quote. You said, referencing numerous attacks Wakizashi made that hurt him as well as you, quote: 'Someone that stupid deserves to be nuked.' I just find it funny, since you've proved yourself to be quite stupid. Perhaps you deserve to be 'nuked'." Bertie glanced at the Aquillan in a pretensious manner.
He sat down again, and phone Bætica to have them send some people to Sirius, just in case the inevitable happens.

I am also not aware of your having marines in his largest city. Perhaps you need to be nuked, since you seem to be equally, if not more, stupid."

The Aquillan guy stood up in the middle of the vote to disband. This no doubt made him even more unpopular with the tired delegates. He addressed a statement made by the delegate of Commerce, notice the 'C', Heights: "Perhaps you need to be nuked, since you seem to be equally, if not more, stupid." To this he had used his discretion to reply in such a manner as to insure that everyone else at the table agreed.
"I am afraid, sir, that you have faulty information or bad eyes or both or worse or something or nothing or no brain or a brain or what? nevermind."
Bertie, a long with most of the other delegates, stared at him for a long time.

Actually, He didn't. The security has been really beefed-up scence Kengsai's attack. If you want to try getting him out of the country by talking to my guards, that's a different story. You can't just teleport him out.

The problem as why a thread as small as this took so long has a simple answer: SOME people (Kengsai mainly, but also Aquilla) Are straying from the topic.

Yes. Brilliant part of diplomacy on your delegate's part. He showed those other delegates, the dumb bastards. They naively thought that the war wasn't over because they were negociating. Don't the fools know that the moment peace talks start, the war is over? I mean, duh! And what a brilliant accord was met at the end: none! Perfect way to end a war, though because we were having a cease fire it was already over. :wink:

Well then. Seeing as the Aquillan government is living in a pipe dream and thinks the war is over, this would be a perfect time to act. By leaving the conference the cease-fire is now void and Aquilla is clearly at fault for any further deaths caused by the war, which is now resumed, no matter what the brain-dead eagle-fucking idiots may claim. As they walked out of a peace process for no reason (no, the war isn't over), they can be held responsible for any further attacks. Furthermore, as Baetica wants these to go well, we will threat Aquilla with join in the war if they don't admit it isn't resolved soon.

And to all those fighting Aquilla, I recommend they attack while the enemy thinks the war is over.
