The nation of Kythr is announcing the completion of a new laser-beam weapon, the c-xII. It is based upon he earlier design for the c-xI handgun, but has an extended stock, longer range, and more importantly, it has a much greater rate of fire.
The c-xII uses a crystalline battery to charge it, which is cheap and easily replacable. The weapon is extremely accurate up to 300 yds., from there the beam widens and targeting can be off by as much as 1-2 inches.
the c-xII was completed with the aid of a research grant from the nation of Sskaura, and Ssakura allowed us access to research and production facilities of the highest quality.
The c-xII will be priced at 10,000 dollars, and will be available in shipments only with increments of 500 units.

Sskaura will of course be buying these weapons, since we aided you so much in the production. We will take the 25% off that you promised us. We'll purchase 10,000, to be sent to our Earth base immediatly. *Wires 75 million dollars to Kythr*
