Metal Gear "Ray" Project
Today, Technology Institute of Dauragon, in the Robotics department, unveils a project of a new "War machine".

This unmanned robot, size of a house, is being transported in a ship to the testing grounds of the Empire of Dauragons.
The main feature of this robot is the unlimitted time economy, swimming ability, can carry ICBM, Nuclear Missiles and all sorts of weapons, it can resist to any attack currently known, but if it resists an Ion strike, that is still unknown and to be tested, its armor "Snake Skin" is a "shield" that is made at base of small hexagones of titanium covering the whole surface of the robot, it is also using a electronic device that reflects most missile impacts, this is all part of the "Snake Skin" being worked on in the Labs of the Dauragon Empire.
The testing will take on today on an island in the middle of the ChinaJapan ocean.

You've got to be kidding, 700 million seems a little bit cheap for a machine of that size. From what it is capable of (MGS-2, sons of liberty) I would suggest a higher price tag of around three times that since, it must be very expensive to build
IC: The Government of Exetonia gives permission for the state of Dauragons to use our waters for any tests they may wish to use. If you would like to test it's nuclear capability, please ask for permission as to where you can use them as, i do not wish an inccident involving civilians to occur as we are only just begining to recover from a major earthquake. As a fledgling nation we have no problems with this being done (the testing) as it furthers the nuclear deterrent and every state has the right to defend itself. That is all. Thankyou

True, but scaled down in relation to the Ray and it'd be a battle field missile. It takes a huge amount of power to get in to orbit.

ill be haveing 10 production plants ready which can produce 10 metal gear rays cost of building is $1 bil and a profit of 1bil again and it must not be sold to the wrong people because these are deadly i think the profits should be spread around who join the metal gear ray project in my own nation only me knows about this and in a secret production areas and sea exports are underwater and transported to Dauragons and from there they are sold and put in Dauragons hangers.
my status i have 1 prototype ready.
due to my small nation it will take 10 mgr to produce in 1 year.

if only MGS2 didnt suck really really bad compared to the first MGS. Metal gear rex is way cooler than metal gear ray.

Thanks to all nation for providing their support in this big project,
we are beginning the target practice session where the Ray will destroy dummy tanks with its main weapon, the "ray" which produces a thin beam of energy that blasts into the target, leaving it shattered to pieces, we are checking how good it aims and how many targets it can destroy without charging up again.

I don't care if you were a high-tech Wookie country! Metal Gear is an "Ultimate Weapon". Unless you're far future tech, I'd IGNORE any Metal Gear thrown at me by any country under 4 months old. Economy does not make up for small size, but it can augment. NOTE: This is only a puppet.

We have no plans to make variants, maybe in the future we might consider the Rex.

Now this is an interesting project, Japany has always been interested in Robotics, but we never had the fund to research into them, i hope this gets finished soon, i need my hands on it :D

The Government of exetonia would like to open up it's Uranium deposits for use by the MGR projects in the reactors. We hope that this, along with the test range will warrant a large reduction in the purchase of 2 MGR's in the near future.
