Gorokistani Dissidents have begun an attack on the powerful Retail Industry in the Eastern part of the country attacking civilians and bombing retail facilities. These first attacks have already claimed the lives of at least 40 civilians and caused excessive damage to the infrastructure of Noitad, the largest city in that portion of the country. Local Police and National Military forces have arrived in the region en masse forcing the dissidents to flee into the mountains surrounding Noitad. Preliminary reports claim that there an estimated 1000 rebels involved in the incident and the attacks are a result of their protest to a supposed high income tax in the country. It is believed that more attacks are forthcoming and will be spread out among the other large industries in the area.

As Defense Minister I am asking fellow countries who have dealt with dissidents like these to give their recommendations on the most effective way to crack down on them. We wish to send the ultimate message to those in our country that these actions will not be tolerated and are looking to bring stability to the region as quickly as possible. At the moment no outside assistance is necessary.

Such actions are not the acts of disgruntled citizens, nor are they the acts of criminals. Such things are acts of war, whether they come from within your country, or from without. The Dominion of Kotterdam supports Gorokistan's right to treat these terrorists as they would a foreign aggressor force, but cautions them to avoid excessive collatoral damage and civilian casualties. Take prisoners where you can, but never forget that these cowards use force to attempt to influence your government.

Minister of National Defense

Of course there always the option that they may just be dissidents in which case you have to treat them as ordinary criminal otherwise you give them a form of legitiamcy. of course once you have them locked up and treat them very nicely they will still complain about you repressing them (like the bernhoff mayer gang...)

President Shinwam wishes to extend his thanks to the countries who expressed opinions on our internal conflict. The minimal threat that was posed by the "group" has been dealt with and all members have been executed for their treason. We are now turning our resources to repairing the damage that has been done and erasing the scars left in their wake. The president and myself wish to thank the Dominion of Kotterdam for their support and hope to be able to forge future alliances as a result.
