Har Land International Airport recieved a distress call a few hours ago. Mumbled, but this is what came through:

"This is [inaudible part here, belived to be callsign] going down! This i..." And the message cut off there.

The airport informed the military and sent out an initial recon flight to spot where this plane went down. A Piper Cheiftan (http://www.tacticalblunder.com/~uploads/Harnu/PiperTop.png) spotted the plane, and snapped a shot of it:

UH-1 Huey's and various ground units are currenty being dispatched to allocate the plane and any possible survivors.

Report based on recon:

Large plane, possibly cargo, or passenger jet.
Apperead to do a gear-up belly landing. Large 'skid mark' behind the jet.
Plane is intact, however seems badly damaged, almost 'crumpled'.


If any other nation has lost contact with a jet of it's own please contact us!

We will keep you informed as information arrives.

Please stay away from the aircraft. It is an Indra Prime Plane and is considered sovreign territory. I repeat do NOT approach the plane. We will dispatch a rescue platoon immediately to your area to recover our plane.

All personell have been ordered to stay away from the plane. All people are have now established a safe pereimiter.


Back at a Marine base:

Staff Seargent "Sir, UH-1's have been ordered off the downed aircraft"

CO "What, who ordered this?"

SS "It's coming straight from high command sir. 'Indra Prime' has claimed it is their aircraft. And they want no one going near it, sir."

CO "Hmmm verywell seargent, dismissed"

The Staff Seargent leaves the room and the CO get's on the telephone:

CO "Sir, why don't they want us to assist?"

Major "We don't know. But it sure is suspicious"

CO "I would say so sir..."

Major "Do what you can, but do not break the rules Indra set. We need no diplomatic hell here"

CO "Roger that, I'll report back later sir"

Major "Goodbye, and good luck"

The Command Officer calls to his barracks three stout Marines.

CO "I want you to respect the perimiter around the plane, but gather whatever info you can"

Marines "Sir, yes sir!


The Marines head out and lay down at the perimiter. Using Binocs to try and find anything...

Back at Indra Prime Command and Control Center

Amid the flurry of activity in the CnC, General Westingard of the IP Intelligence community strode into the hectic arena. He marched straight over to Mission Briefing to get the latest information regarding the downed plane.

"Sir, as far as we can tell the Dark Phalanx suffered massive failure in her core and we lost contact with her at 0300. We had no idea where she was in a 500 mile radius until we recieved word from a nation called Har Land."

"Who are they? How strong are they? Could they have shot down our plane?"

"General, Intel reports that they are a small nation and they wouldn't stand a chance against us. Chances are that they are just innocent bystanders in this incident. We don't think that they shot down our plane. At least we hope they didn't."

"You HOPE?!? You sure as hell better HOPE they didn't shoot down our plane. We do not need to get into a conflict with a nation barely developed. We would crush them like a bug, if they had attacked the Dark Phalanx. Even so we're taking no chances. Send in the Fourth, Sixth and Ninth Fleets to Har Land. Full Military Readiness. That Plane cannot fall into enemy hands. We have been working too long to let THAT kind of technology fall into enemy hands."

"FULL military readiness? Sir YESSIR!"

The Marines return to base:

Marine Squad Leader : "Sir, recon squad reporting""

CO "What did you find out?"

MSL "Not a whole lot sir. It's hazy out there, and we weren't able to get close enough for a clear view."

CO "Well what is it?"

MSL "It's definately a plane sir, a big one. It doesn't appear to be a passenger jet. And I don't think a civilian could have belly landed that plane. But less a civilian plane staying that much intact"

CO "We're you able to distinguish what brought it down?"

MSL "We're not entirely sure. But my best guess is an engine failure. It seems to have had plenty of time to line itself up with some smooth terrain and land safely"

CO "If one of those army grunts got trig..."

The phone rings:

CO "Hello?"

Ltn. Kozlofski "This is Kozlofski, all AA batteries have reported in, and no one fired a shot sir. If something shot it, it sure wasn't us"

CO "Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to hear"

Hangs up phone

CO "Marines, you tell no one of what you did here. This isn't classified yet, but it most likely will be"

MSL "Sir yes sir. We've been in our barracks all day"

CO "Dismissed"

The Marines leave the room, and the CO lights up a cigarette.

CO "hmmm.. there have been reports of suspisious aircraft flying lately... we need more info... but I can't get too close. Midas well be diplomatic"

Stands outside his office and yells for Ltn. Harnu to come

CO "Harnu, I'd like you to assemble a small team. You will escort any of Indra Prime's ment to the crash site. Don't do anything stupid, do what they say, and don't tell anyone what you may or may not see."

Harnu "Yes Sir!"

The Marines head off to assemble.

OOC: Bump. You there Indra?

The Kaiser would like to address this issue.

"Peoples of Indra Prime and Har Land, I am Kaiser Petrovich IV. Tremalkier has decided to extend its diplomatic hand to this situation. Seeing as Indra Prime has declared its jet "sovereign territory", and at the same time, the plane is in the middle of Har Land, there is a major dilemna. Thereby we offer a solution. Because Indra Prime would need to take some kind of action, requiring military force to regain its jet, that could have dire consequences to such a young nation as Har Land, possibly resulting in occupation. Thereby here is our...offer."

"Tremalkier is offering a status of Protectorate to Har Land. Should this be accepted, we will take full responsibility for returning the jet to Indra Prime. To make sure that IP doesn't take this opportunity to annex Har Land through war, we will dispatch elements of the Tremalkien Home Army, easily capable of handling a young nation like IP, well compared to ourself anyway."

"However, should this offer be ignored, consider this your final warning. Tremalkier will not be dishonored by you refusing us, if you do, prepare for the consequences, for they shall be sharp, serious...and unrelenting."

Greetings from the Senior Directorate.
We wish to thank you for notifying us about the loss of the aircraft in your territory. We ask that you remain at least 2 miles away from the aircraft for reasons which we cannot make clear to you at this point. No one is to approach the aircraft under ANY circumstances or that will be considered a hostile act toward the nation of Indra Prime and actions will be taken accordingly. We currently have 3 Carrier Battle Groups headed your way. We urge you to let them into your waters immediately and allow them to retrieve our lost aircraft. Your full cooperation is unduly appreciated. The Aircraft is apart of a classified operation which we cannot disclose to you at this time. We have moved satellites into geosynchronous orbit over the crash site to verify that the plane is left untouched. They CBGs will arrive in 12 Hours. Until then keep your men away from that plane. Please note. We have no intention to annex your land in the name of the Republic. We are sending our forces to recover our property. No one is to approach our plane or there WILL be major consequesences. Do not think that we are a young, naive nation who is not skilled in the art of war. We wish for no hostility to develop.

The Sovreign Nation of Indra Prime is a peaceful nation that is dedicated to the ideals of peace. We have no need to annex your land for ourselves. You can take that to heart. We will not annex or conquer your land. You have our word on that.

But assurances to that fact are very useful. The Tremalkien Army would make sure that no foul play happened, and I am sure that nobody could object to that.

Tremalkier, while your offer is taken to heart, we cannot accept. We are an independent nation, and as the UN delagate to the Nogovan regain, I'm sure you understand we need to keep face so to speak.

Indra Prime, all vehicles have increased the perimiter to two miles. It is now a restricted area, and any tresspassers can be shot on site. A new's van was recently stopped from getting in. Air and ground patrols will ensure whatever is there, won't be seen by the general public. As we can respect classified operations.

I trust you will not make hostile movements towards us, but we would like to make a request that your battle groups keep a distance, and only your salvage operation come right to Har Land.

We too are not unskilled at war, as well has having several powerful allies. So I'm sure you will not make any hostile movements.

And something we're both glad to hear; All Anti-Aircraft batteries have reported in, and no one has fired anything within the past weeks.

Is that a threat? If so, I believe that you are getting into something that you truly are not prepared for. You really have no idea who Indra Prime is, do you? It would be a big mistake to get into a conflict over this matter.

The Battle group is a fully armed defense force. This plane is extremely sensitive and so are the materials aboard her. The Ships will release her crew and the special ops crew to retrieve the craft and the materials. We will not interfere with anything on your land with the sole exception of the land immediately surrounding the plane. Also we will have to protect the route back to the Bay. We need to know where the closest open body of water is to the crash site so we can get our ships as close as possible and retrieve our plane in the least amount of time. We want to get in, retrieve our property, and get out of your land ASAP.

Very well... How long until your ships arrive?

Pay no heed to increased military air traffic, as it is only a precatuion when large militaries get close.

I try :) It's actually a pic of a crashed 747 in game of Operation Flashpoint (http://www.flashpoint1985.com). The color scheme is a little ugly (User made addon). So I resized it to be smaller, and added noise from Adobe. That program can work some wonders I tell ya.

UH-1 Huey turns on it's radio and transmits to the lead battle group:

*In southerner voice* "Welcoooommmeee tooo Harrrrr Lannd! This is the welcome wagon, please keep your seatbelts on and tray tables in their upright positions. Continue on your current heading, and a small APC party will meet you at the shore with directions on how to get to the crash site fastest.... is this thing on? Please respond"

That program can work some wonders I tell ya. Indeed. :D

As the three Carrier Battle Groups made berth in the harbor a whirlwind of activity was occuring aboard the ships of the Indra Prime Fleet. Weve after wave of armed convoys rolled from the ships into the amphibious transports and onto the mainland. The moment the first vehicles made land fall troops began spilling out of the convoys to secure the landing site. As soon as the beach was secure, the convoys with the white unmarked 18 Wheelers specially designed for the recovery of this mission began rolling out and heading for the crashed plane which woulc be considered the most valuable piece of Technology that Indra Prime had to date. Once they reached the crash site, even more troops followed up behind the convoy of 18s and surrounded the plane at a distance of 1 mile. There were so many Indra Prime soldiers there to guard the retrieval of this technology that they could almost stand up with their arms held out and touch the hand of the soldier next to them.

If there is anything else we can provide for you, feel free to ask. We do not wish to haste the removal of this, but it is growing attention and our 2 mile perimiter is getting some close calls.

Just moments ago an extremist group tried to fly a cessna over the crash site. It was quickly shot down. The wreckage landed approxmately 1.7 miles from ground zero. An armed team was sent in to determine no one made it through. And indeed they did not. The team has now returned to the two mile perimiter, and the plane will be salvaged after your operation.

i support Indra Prime in his retreival, but we are suspecious that this might be some Millitary trick to get troops into the respective nation of Har Land.

Their troops are being kept under constant survellince, and their battle groups are being watched 24-7. Should we be attacked, several nations from my region will help. So we wont be caught with our pants down. Should they try to invade, all nations in support of me are welcome to help. I cannot tell from your post what side you are on Trasa, but you like all of us are hoping for the best resolution to this.

As the relief Operation was wrapping up and the final pieces of the plane were being loaded into the 18s, The operation halted when they saw the Cessna try their fly over. But thankfully the armed forces of Har Land were on top of things and shot it down. There was no possible way they could have seen THE OBJECT. They loaded up the last of the plane and did a final sweep for any stray particles. None were found. The Commander of the Operation ordered the perimeter to close back in and to pull out of the situation. They Followed Suit and Thirty Minutes Later they were back at the bay with no casualties. There was a risk that they could have lost the entire operation of that thing had gone critical but thankfully the technicians knew what they were doing. As they pulled out of Har Land Waters, the captain of the flagship fired off a message to the Har Land Government. It read:

We wish to send our appreciation of your assistance in this matter of the recovery of the X-305 and her equipment. We have been ordered back to base with the X-305 and all that was Indra Prime's. With your decorum to remain away from the plane when asked not to and your protection of it, we can only give you our deepest gratitude. The loss of the X-305 would have set back our Temporal Research Institute almost 30 years. Without your quick action we would have lost more than the crew of the plane. We could have lost our entire nation. Again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. With that we will send you 50 Billion USD to help you in any project you see fit. Thank you for your assistance.
