LRR is developing some new ship types.

The Arrow II is in development as a light fighter/scout craft for LRR patrol frigates. It still needs a sensors package. It will probably be fitted with dual railguns, as it is too small to mount the regular twin Nuclear Blasters as are seen on the more beastish fighters of LRR.

The Tempest class corvette has been conceived as a vehicle for planetary landings and other such small-party away missions. It needs a six-gun tracking system, a sensors package, and a proper interior.

The Emancipator II is in development as a newer version of the Emancipator I. It has an antimatter propulsion system, the first of its kind seen in primarily fusion powered LRR, and three main antimatter cannons, which should have enough power to punch through the outer hull of a destroyer-class vessel within one or two hits. It carries 50 fighters, and should mount a full-coverage ion cannon point defense grid. Those of you who bought the ion drone upgrade to somtaaw's puppeteer frigate should regognize what I am tlking about. The grid should be able to track fighters and corvettes, as well as larger giuded projectiles, and should be an extreme danger to frigates which stray too close. We still need a torpedo launcher and shield.
(OCC: Would 80 various weapons mounts be stretching it? I figure 50 Ion cannon mounts, 10 antimatter cannon mounts, 20 plasma cannon mounts.)

The Denny class mobile shipyards are being developed for use far away from the drive yards on the Hugo, where LRR's largest ships are built. It will serve as a platform for maintannance of frigates and destroyers, as well as pocket cruisers. All partners in construction get manufacturing rights.

The James Audobon class of fleet support frigates is supposed to serve along with the Sajuuk Cor class of heavy ion cannon frigates in the role of fleet frigate. It will conceivably mount two flak cannons and foreward missile tubes, as well as a small docking and repair bay.
(Pic Unavailable)
The Major Tom class patrol frigate is supposed to serve along with the Vengance II class as a patrol frigate.
We are also working on many new sensors. The first is the ion sensor, which will conceivably detect the ions created by proplsion systems on ships. This will be coupled with a Ladar system, which measures the shapes of objects and compares them with a database of ship types to provide a very accurate means of distinguishing friend from foe. The third is a URR, or Universal Radio Reciever, which should be able to pick up and analyze radio transmissions. Its primary use is as a scientific instrument. The fourth is the simple IR sensor, which detects Infra-Red radiation. Ships using nuclear power are especially seceptable to this sensor. These four sensors are to be bundled up into the XW-78 Sensors package, which will be implememted on capital ships as a basic sensors package, which will go along with their specialty sensors arrays.
The final upgrade for this time is an antimatter propulsion system for all LRR's Michael Strogoff class carriers. The new propulsion system should give the ships plenty of power, and the capability to mount antimatter cannons.
Note: All projects should be completed soon, and buisiness partnerships are very welcome.
We need your input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
