Today, Dauragon Institute of Technology has completed the VBS program.
The VBS Program is a "game" that simulates war.
It's purpose is to train officers into tactical commands of their squad.
The game can support up to 1024 "players" into one session (if the hosting computer can handle it)
The program sells for 340$

VBS1™ is a fully interactive, three-dimensional training system providing a premium synthetic environment in which team members may practice small unit tactics. Photo-realistic terrain, user-definable mission scenarios, customized vehicles and equipment, and variable environmental conditions enhance the team training experience. After-action review support assists the training facilitator in assessing the team’s performance and in promoting continuous process improvement.
VBS1™ offers realistic battlefield simulations and the ability to operate a myriad of land, sea, and air vehicles across vast outdoor terrains. Instructors may create virtually any imaginable scenario and then engage the simulation from multiple viewpoints. The advanced squad-management system enables participants to efficiently issue orders to squad members as well as coordinate both lethal and non-lethal tasks. VBS1™ allows free play within scenario-based training missions. It also incorporates real-time simulation of wind, rain, fog, clouds, time-of-day, sunrise and sunset, and tides.
VBS1™ is based on the commercial gaming engine known as Real Virtuality™ created by Dauragon Institute of Technology. individual needs of military, law enforcement, homeland defense, and first responder training environments. VBS1™ can be easily deployed on laptops or desktops or through the Internet, delivering cost-effective solutions for worldwide interactive training. VBS1™ is not intended for entertainment purposes and is available only to federal, state, and local government agencies for military, law enforcement, homeland defense, and first responder training.
VBS1™ may be used to teach doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures during squad and platoon offensive, defensive, and patrolling operations. It may also be used to teach and rehearse security emergency response procedures in lethal and non-lethal environments. VBS1™ delivers a synthetic environment for the practical exercise of the leadership and organizational behavior skills required to successfully execute small unit missions.
