two nights ago Emperor Finegold II died on his bed of old age (105 years old).

Yesterday his great grandson, 16 years of age, was coronated at the Toledo cathedral (almost 400 years old).

Today plans to build a gigantic statue in the center of Madrid have been released.

The statue will be of a gigantic block of marble, 35 feet high, 13 feet width and 75 feet long. On it will be a gigantic horse of marble with all of its imperial dressing reaching another 27 feet high. On the horse will be the emperor garbed in his military clothing with all of his medals in full display (Finegold II not the III). His head will reach even higher to another 23 feet coming to a total of 65 feet high and all of it pure marble.

On the box, acting as footing, the incriptions of all the wars the nation has been in will be carved upon it with scenes of fighting and of our enemies crumbling in our wake.

The following wars will make an appearance:

1.The NJA-Freemantian War
2.The NJA/GDU-NDA War
3.The Civil Uprising (in which the empire crushed her opponents)

This project will take 11 months to complete and will cost a total of 17 million USD.

Its worth it to honor our second emperor, who has been able to achieve the greatest honors for our empire. He has not only never lost a war, but he has expanded the economy from "good" to "frightning" without the aid of outside nations.

He has also made the military from a superb ground based force to one of the best armies, an excellent navy (two fleets numbering over 700 ships), and an excellent airforce.

You could use low cost imitation marble.

But, if you use that imitation crap, it looks like what you paid for: crap. But hey, I'm into big statues honoring great people. Hope that statue turns out alright. Good Luck!

Will there be any defenses around this statue, or will His Majesty simply rely on the nation's fearsome military presence to keep possible terrorists away?

The entire city of Madrid is a no fly zone except a narrow corridor leading to the airport. Any aircraft that flies to the left or to the right of the corridor is hunted and shot down.

By land the city has a great intelligence and security force. Plus, my nation has had no history of terrorist activity ever.

The project is almost complete and I may be able to get a picture of it (If I can force myself to draw well, I'll probably make a sketch of Tzar Alexander III's statue with a mix of some other stuff).
