*NOTE* Before I start this thread I just want people to know that I will have absolutely no leadership role of any kind in this Alliance, official or otherwise.

Ever since space travel first entered into the NationStates universe there have been Alliances. Good Alliances, bad Alliances, indifferent ones, ones with absolutely no purpose, etc. The problem is that those Alliances rarely got along. There would be wars over technology, territory, pointless OOC reasons, and many more. Finally, there was war merely because the Alliances couldn't communicate with each other. Alliance A joins with Alliance B for defense against C, but both B and C have an alliance with D, so people have no idea who they're fighting or why. This has lead to innumerable troubles.

The purpose of this Organisation is to form a bridge between the different Alliances. All Alliances are welcome here (provided the current members have no objection) and here we shall communicate wih one another. We shall finally be able to move past the innumerable smaller negotiations and progress to direct conversation between the many existing Alliances.

Member Alliances may propose treaties at any time and the other members may discuss it amongst themselves. They may all accept it, or none may accept it, nobody here will be forced to obey anything. The purpose here is to have the option, to be able to present your ideas to the NationStates Space Alliances en masse.

May all nations prosper.

The GA is very disorganised at the moment. I'm not sure who is left to vote. I'll find out and get back to this.

The vote ends in exactly 4 hours, 5 minutes as from this post. Currently a 100% majority has voted to join, but only a 50% turnout has occurred so far.

The vote is OVER. It passes with 6 votes for, 0 against. There was a 50% turnout.

As a consequence, ESUS is now part of the Inter-Stellar Alliance Organisation.

Kinda. It's meant to be like the Roman Forum.

For those who don't know what the Roman Forum was, it was place in Rome where new laws, current events, etc. were put on display for public discussions and voting and other stuff.

Member alliances will post ideas for treaties or ways to exchange technology, or maybe even just which alliance is made up of n00bs. This way any new inter-alliance things will be before all alliances, instead of making their way slowly from one alliance to another.
