"Sad news comrades, today at 4:56 AM, our Emperor died of what appears to be a heart failure accident. Funerals have already been held and our next Emperor, Kombayn Golatchev, high-general of the secret services, made a powerfull statement:

We will never forgot what this great man has done. He was a visionnary and I will carry his vision to new depths. From now on, free elections will be cancelled and only the emperor in place will have the right to choose his heir. Non-citizens will have to move to specially built Spasvhas (gethos) or be sent to labour camps(non-citizens = all non Orthodox or Catholics).

In reponse to the on going deterioration of conditions within FPC, the 2nd highland division is being withdrawn.
All fortifications in the former Crookfur garrisioned sector have been torn down (as have the bridges but thats not official and you won't know that until you move in).

Due to an excess of transport space availability a general offer of refuge and asylum has been made to all FPC citizens.

The Kingdom of Crookfur also states that all diplomatic ties have been cut, the embassy staff withdrwn and a trade embargo placed upon FPC.

I think he got abit sick of whenever he tried to do anything his threads would be isntantly filled with declarations of war etc etc by just about everyone from established good Rpers, esstablished "questionable" people all the way through to noobs with thier 6billion Nooks...

IC: Some brave non-citizens according to the FPCian governement go to the Crookfur checkpoints. Around 300 get past the border when sudendly, military convoys arrive and begin arresting non-citizens. Some try to run through the barbed wire and other barridaces to freedom(Crookfur) but are shot at and killed before crossing.

it only goes to reason that with my largely humane army has been "encouraging" cross border movement between those leaving for listovia and attica and those who want to infiltrate for what ever reason.

IC: In response to the ongoing atrocities commited by FPC troops against civilians in plain view of Crookfur troops some of the comanders have authorised thier personel to suggest to the FPC troops to desist ie. Your troops have been rahter baddly shelled with smoke rounds and on a localised level all your broadcast media has been completely jammed and replaced with Crookfur news bullitins.

The situation is rahter summed up by the Crookfur Commander, Brigader Henderson:

OOC: I know soldiers wouldn't do something seing civilians getting murdered but to get to either Listovia or Attica, people have to cross a "dead xone" wich was set up by the governement. Basically, it'S about 5 km of raw earth with barricades on FPC's side and some mines and other booby traps also on FPC's side.

In escaltion of Crookfur's policy of pure devilment and physcological warfare the Crookfur parilemt has aproved nation wide communications hijacking against the FPC regeime, as of 08:00 this morning a fleet of Crookfur Aircraft and satelites will begin overpower broadcasting, from that time all FPC broadcast media will be controlled by Crookfur and will transmit a specially scheduled line up prepared by the CFBC.

For the following days after the Spasvha scandals, people in the streets have begun talking behind the back of the governement in place. That is why one member of the communist party decided to run for Secretary General screaming his slogan: "Do not despair minorities, you will never be wronged again. NOT WHILE I LIVE!" Since only members of the communist party can run for the office of secretary general (and there is only one political party allowed to exist...guess wich one ;) ) Yuri Gagarini is attempting to change things. He makes huge rallies...legal ones = communist and people flock to him. What next will happen.

In a secret move, running member for the office of secretary general, Yuri Gagarini has enlisted the help of the local policemen in all FPC and has bribed a number of high generals to follow him. Still, numbers say that 40% of FPC is siding with Yuri while the rest are with the Emperor.

Sides have now beend taken!
Increasing talks and rumors of yet another civil war are spreading like locus. The Communists Reformists led by Yuri Gargarini have now increased their size by the buying of weapons factory. In yet another sign of political dissension, our beloved Emperor has ordered a change in military uniform.

They will be changed to look more like German ones from WW2. The Reformists have been outraged by this and soldiers loyal to this side are planning on big rallies to change the uniforms back. In time like this, it would take only a small spark to ignite the powder...

OOC2: No offense FPC, but I like the style of Attica's roleplaying. It is one of the best I have seen. I hope you would consider allowing him to be involved somehow.

5 Attican Operatives cross the Listovian border, resting assured that the Listovian guards, supposedly supportive of Attica, would let them thru Listovia into FPC.

Secret IC: While the Federation has formally broken off all relations with the FPC, a covert action team (undercover as an independent sociology team studying the social system in the country) has been authorized to aid the reformists with publishing, organizing peaceful protests, and disseminating their message outside of FPC. The covert action team has permission to give the reformists suggestions on how to defend themselves and prepare for government reprisals.

The last few days had been incredably hectic as the Crookfur diplomatic embassy prepared to pull out. Mike Bannister was feeling particularly harrassed not only had he been transfered as section head for Mi6 a mere few weeks ago following the Aust incident but he found that his predesesor, while obviously efficient had suddenly had his entire network yanked from under foot leaving Mike Completely blind. he had managed to gain some leads and it was to meet with one of these that he was hurrying through the embassy corridors amid the constant bustle.

Outside the Embassy the usual crowd of bored or bullied FPCians chanted under the watchful gaze of thier opressors. Occasionally one of them would be prompted to hurl something at the embassy although this was largely a futile geasture considering the amount of protection biult into the embassies front walls, but noone was sure when the projectiles would escalte into something worthy of concern, such as a 120mm At round.

On his way to the back entrance Mike bumped into the Ambassador, Sir Richard Mayhew.

"I really must say that this entire episode is simply bothersome, I really do wish that those buggers back home wpould get thier finger out and ispatch the rest of the highland Corps to sort this entire mess out."

"Oh i agree sir, but at least we can finally get some decent television. I'm sorry Ambassidor but i have to run i've got to see to a couple of party nibbles before the leaving party."

OOC: Why do you think I'm doing that? Cuz everytime, people don't read what I write and they invade me with all might and stab me in the back.

Unprecedent violence erupted today in the streets of all the Spasvhas. Non-citizens from all age and sex went to the streets and attacked policemen and police checkpoints. With no weapons, the NC took whatever was lying in the streets and threw it at the riot control policemen and special SSS-FPC units that tried to restore peace. The riot is still in progress at the moment. More policemen were called in reserve but they did not show up since they are on the Reformist's side.

Civil war is at our door. With Spashvas' riots, both camps will dig deeper into hatred and fighting will soon begin. It is estimated that around 45% of FPC is siding with the Reformists while 55% are with the Imperials. Though large numbers end up in the Reformists' side each day. If it beraks into civil war, and this reporter hopes not, the policemen and nearly all the military will fight the elite SSS-FPC units and some other para-military soldiers created by our Emperor.

The operatives, while inside Listovia, forge fake documents documenting the FPC governments atrocities, in order to -hopefully- incite a civil war.

OOC: You must remember, regardless of whether an RP is on or not, I would still invade you will all my might.

Riots continue well into the night. It even spreads to the cities as pro-reformists attack military convoy and other Imperial units. No shots have been fired since the whole affair but several arrestations and injuries were sustained during the day.

It is impossible to know the number of people that are rioting but raw estimates suggest around 20 million! The streets are jammed, the factories have no more workers in them, the point of no return (civil war) is approaching it's boiling point.

The point of no return has been crossed. Tonight, at approximately 2 AM, riot control soldiers began firing at the rioting crowd. Made up of Reformists and non-citizens alike! 4 members of the Reformists were killed. In a statement, Yuri Gagarini said that: "The Emperor will pay for this crime and I will see to it that we change this country into a good one!"

As a sign of their might, the Reformists' military has begun seceding from the few left that are loyal to the Imperials. Many tanks were paraded through streets of cities unaffected by the riots. Many normal citizens have also joined forces with the Reformists.

To further their cause, the Reformists have sent numerous weapons to the Spasvhas by means of underground tunnels and sewers. The non-citizens will fight on one front while the Reformists will make another one.

Reformists and Imperials have begun tkaing countys that are loyal to them. Out of the 35 countys that make FPC, 30 have joined the Reformists and 5 are still loyal to the Imperials. Riots have ceased and now, house to house fighting has erupted between armed non-citizens+ some reformist soldiers and the Imperial forces.

Reformists soldiers have begun to mass in countys near the loyalist provinces and will shortly begin their mass invasion to put back democracy in their lives. Over 50 million people have enlisted in the Reformist army. Opposing them are 5 million Imperial soldiers, mainly SSS-FPC troops.

Fighting in the Spasvhas

Fighting still rages on and the Imperials have yet to boot out the ennemy. Many soldiers from both side have died and the casualty list is ever increasing.

OOC: Wow, this has grown since yesterday.

IC1: There are about 50 32nd Regiment men acting out jailbreaks, and 150 NSOC commandos escorting prisoners to the Listovian border.

IC2: The four couples headed back towards a resteraun t nea rhte city centre, where they met up and over a meal, discussed the city, and exchanging information about the revolt.

Once the teams had made it back to their hotel rooms, the information was sent by an encrypted satellite link directly to MAFCCP HUMINTC.

After a long weekend break, three of the teams headed back away from the city, taking their own individual routes to the base.

The fourth began more intense surveillance of one man. Kombayn Golatchev.

The Attican government requests FPC's permisison for Attican troops to use the far western border of FPC to move our troops. As we are sure you know, Attican Rebel troops have moved into western FPC from eastern Attica to assault Attica City, and we would like permission to move to dispatch these troops.

Battle for the Galioli hills

The Galioli hills are one of FPC's most beautiful mountains. It has large trees, impressive water falls and are nearly 5,000 meters high and 20 km long. The Imperials fortified their positions by adding gun nests, trenches, booby traps and mines. It is a key strategic position since these hills block the access to the county of Helinsi.

Reformists generals managed get 800,000 soldiers, 2400 artillery pieces and 4000 tanks. Opposing this large force are 120,000 Imperial soldiers (the only loyal soldiers left), 800 pieces of artillery and 900 tanks.

The Assault: 7:00 AM
At 6:50 AM, Reformists soldiers get into position. Thei check their weapons one last time. This will be their biggest fight yet... the first battle of the 4th Civil war. Should they win, they would have access to an ill-defended county, should they fail, many more equipement would be made for the Imperials. At 6:55 AM, the Reformist artillery opens up on the Imperial positions. Hundreds of shells it multiple places at the same time. The Imperial artillery fights back but is not capable of doing the same ammount of damage.

7:00 AM, Reformist soldiers get up from their trenches and charge the bottom of the mountains and hills. They are first met by no resistance. When they continue to climb the natural defences, they are met with stiff resistance. Soldiers die and fall on their comrades. The Imperials have lots of heavy machine guns and know how to use them. Still, the sheer human pressure breaks the defence of the Imperial and they must fall back.
15:00 PM, Reformist, with the help of tanks, finish secruing the bottom of the mountains and hills. Just when they are about to assault the Imperial defences again, snow begins to fall from the skies. Then, minutes later, a storm begins. The FPCian winter is falling on it's land and it is know for it's freezing temperatures. THe attack will have to wait.

1) The three teams try their hardest to avoid firefights on the way back to their base, but unfortunately, are all but wiped out. The only survivor, an attractive woman of 23 by the name of Emma Anslow, is MIA.

2) The team inside the capital follow the screaming crowds heading away from the firefights, making their way back to their hotel.

3) The 32nd Regiment teams, supported by the NSOC teams, return fire heavily on both side, acting only to free people trapped in the camps, taking some casualties, but ceasing the prison breaks unti new tactics can be thought up.

Battle for Galioli hills, day 2
9:00 AM, the snow storm finally stops and over 12" of snow covers the ground. Imperial generals plan a large scale counter attack to push back the overwhelmed Reformists.

Counter attack: 9:45 AM
Imperial soldiers sneak heavy machine guns and small Anti-tank guns and prepare to counter-attack. Their objectives, the newly dug trenches at the bottom of the numerous hills and mountains that are Galioli.

10:00AM, Imperial soldiers charge the thiny trenches. At first, the Reformists are caught off guard since the majority of the army had to go back to the original positions to seek shelter from the snow storm. The few soldiers that are there fight for their lives but without tank or artillery support, they are but fodder. They are nearly driven back but at the last moment, reinforcements arrive and reformists tanks begin murdering Imperial infantry and few tanks.

13:00PM, the counter attack finally ends. The Imperial lost more men than planned and will not attack for the rest of the battle. Their general prefers to wait the ennemy to inflict maximum damage. Throughout the rest of the day and night, small squads attack Imperial positions but no breakthrough.

OOC: Are you WWII tech?

OOC: hmm, not too much but some aspects like clothing and body armour are dating back to WW2. Some of the weapons also but WW2 weapons are only given to partisan groups.

Galioli hills, day 3
After the counter attack, wich caused many casualties, the High generals of the Reformist army decided to continue their artillery barrage instead of losing men without gaining any groud. From 9:00AM until 16:00PM, Reformist artillery pounded the Imperial positions. Brave attempts were made by the Imperial artillery but each time one piece tried to counter fire, it was spotted by aerial reconnaissance and destroyed by Reformist shells.

Day 4
Nothing much execpt random artillery fire at the Imperial position.

Day 5
Large artillery barrage(2 hours) followed by a large scale charge. More ground was taken but still not enough for a definite victory.

Day 6
More attacks that were each futile.

Day 7
More Reformist artillery barrage.

Mike Bannister was no ninja god and soon was borne down by weight of numbers, blacking out before he realised he still had his pistol...

Mike drifts in and out of coinciousness being vaguely aware that someone is treating his wounds and that he is moving somewhere...


Finally Mike awakens to find an old man sitting over him.

"So," breaths the old man, "the Crooked spook is awake at last."


"Geez, my head... where on earth am I?" curses Mike against the constant pounding that fills his head

" You are with freinds, it was lucky that young Knox over there noticed those brainwashed party thugs taking you away and that we had time to intercept them before things got really bad."

"Knox? thats hardly a regular FPCian name and what do you mean by things getting really bad? what about the embassy?"

"well to answer your questions point by point:
1: You may have noticed the lack of party and citizen", the old man spits," regailia here abouts, you see we are what the authoritis like to term non-citizens. As for things getting bad... well the FPC is currently embroiled in it's 4th Civil war, although we foresee that it will change little just as the others failed to do. Finally as for the embassy, it is empty, the last flight departed on time with you belived to have been killed in the conflagration, the CFBC did run a nicely edited memorial of the Humanitarian Aid Micheal Bannister, brutally slain by FPC party officials as he tried to help a group of women and children."


"Well that helps explains things... but what the F*** am i supposed to do now? and who are you?"

Another attack wich gains more ground but the top is still vallaintly defended.

Day 10
The general of the only troops no brainwashed that were still loyal to the Emperor taught about his fight all night long. Then, in the morning of day 10, he talked to his officers:
"My friends, why should we continue this fight our brothers? It is useless. Let's surrender and end this massacre.
-Yes, you are a right. I will rally the county of Helinsi to give shelter and food for the Reformists. : said Helinsi's Prime minister.
-It is ok, I will contact the Reformists and sign my unconditionnal surrender. I will contacy other troops like us wich were not brainwashed by the SSS-FPC. : answered the High General commanding the Galioli hills

At around 10:00AM, an Imperial soldier holding a white flag approached the trenches of the Reformist. He gave the surrender message to the High general of the Ref. At 10:20AM, all Imperial soldiers in the Galioli hills got down from it and surrendered to the Reformists. Shortly after, the whole county of Helinsi surrendered to the Ref army.

OOC: Well, in brief, what have i missed. Am i the only one supporting the Reformists?

IC:

The two agents in New Quebec resumed their search for the new Emperor, following his every move with interest, plotting, planning, observing, and evaluating.


Meanwhile, forces inside FPC begin to work with the reformists to continue prison breaks (OOC: I presume the Reformists have troops spare to fight to free more non-citizens), with the intent of releasing all non-citizens, and arming them with basic weaponry originally destined for the soon-to-be-formed Home Guard. Weapons for over 400,000 troops are available, and are being flown into the McLeodian base as we speak.


Emma Anslow woke up lying face down in a ditch. All around her she could here Slavic voices shouting orders, but very little made sense to her. She culdn't feel her left leg, and a suspicous patch of blood betrayed the bullet wound in her thigh.

As she looked up, she saw her partner, and supposed husband, Andrew Hamilton, face down in the ditch, surrounded by a pool of blood. Emma dragged herself to the top of the ditch, taking shelter behind the wreck of the hired saloon they had been driving.

'Where they hell am I?' she thought, 'and how the hell do i get back to base?'. She lifted herself up to look in the car, and once more, her world went black.

(OOC: FPC - this woman is near a firefight between Imperialist and Reformist soldiers. Its up to you who captures her, but she can't be executed straight away)

-The missiles launched by ACS hit their targets without a problem. This is a severe blow to the Imperials wich needed those factories to make tanks & ammo. Now, they have some minor industries left but not enough to supply their 5 million or so soldiers.

-Emma Anslow (I'm gonna role play what happens to her if you don't mind McLeod execpt when she does get caught) is caught between a rather big firefight. She his in the crossfire of Imperial gunners and Rebelling Non-citizens & some reformists bataillons.

She takes refuge in her car but she soon finds out that it is helpless... more than 50 bullets hit her small car with one nearly missing her face. She gets out of the car and crawls to a small blown out building. Bullets fly near and around her. She then hears a rumbling sound.

An Imperial tank, a T-90fp, appears and shoots a shell wich goes right into a reformist bunker. The explosion is quite something and a wood plank flies and goes to hit Emma on the head knocking her unconcious. She wakes up in an Imperial bunker tied to an hospital bed. A Lieutenant-Major from the SSS-FPC is asking her what's her name and occupation.

OOC: I'll RP her side of things, she is one of my soldiers after all.

"My name...my name is Emma Anslow" Emma stamered, trying to come around from the blow to the head. "I'm a shop assistant from a small shoe shop in Mcleodia. Please, can you tell me where my husband is?"

The Lieutenant-Major slapped Emma with his hand.
"Tell me what are you doing here!...you filthy bit%*!"
He slapped her again.
"Who are you working for, what have you transfered back to your governement? Who is your husband you are talking about? Is it him?"

He pointed at a curtain. His assistant went to remove the curtain wich revealed Emma's husband tied in a vertical position on an hospital bed... all goory and bloody... barely breathing.

OOC: Her husband is dead. She knows this. He isn't actually ehr husband, its part of the cover story. He won't be barely breathing with half his face missing.

You also wouldn't know she transferred information back to her government (i.e. me), and you don't know she is a McLeodian soldier

"I..i...i don't know what you mean. My name is Emma Anslow, and i work for Mrs Gren, she owns a shoe shop called Mr Shoe on Williams Road in McLeodia. The phone number is 01375 769320. Call her if you like. just please, let me go, and where is my husband? Please find him for me"

OOC: I am supporting the reformists. 1,500 M1-A2 Abrams have been loaded onto RORO's. They will be approaching your shore's in 2 NS Days.

OOC: oh... and for giving intel back to McLeod, the Lieutenant-Major is just assuming she is a spy since during the Imperial reign, no outsiders were really allowed in FPC.

IC:
"You stupid McLeodian. *slaps her* do you think I give a darn about your miserable and pathetic life? You are nothing but a potential pleasuer giving host for me and my squad. that is why you will get some medical assistance. Now, hold still, this doctor will inject you with a sedativ."

She gets injected and soon falls asleep. She wakes up 3 days later. She is still in pain but her wounds have healed much better. She doesn't know where's her position nor what time it is. Soon, the same Lieutenant-Major enters the room:

"So, you've awakened. Good, we will be able to begin. It's been a long time since I've been with a woman."

He does what soldiers do with captured women. After 2 hours, he finishes and goes back to his quarter. THe next day, he enters Emma's room again:
"so McLeodian spy, you still won't talk? Ah, you will ahve to suffer even more. *he takes som boiling water and pours some on her healing wounds* how do you like it? Give me some answers!"

The stealthy submarines continue on a rampage through Imperialist-controlled waters. They use sensor-outfitted UAVs to search for merchant vessels carrying ammunition and hardware for the Imperialist armies... then attack any escorts before sinking the ships themselves. The sub captains are careful to only attack ships flying the Imperial FPC flag, though.

In an unprecedented move, Nearly 30 million Reformists soldiers invaded 3 out of 4 remaining conties left to theImperials. They took all 3 of them under 2 weeks since more of the Imperials had fled to New-Quebec and it's province (14). The Reformists are now making war plans and scanning the province before attacking.

The Secretary-General releases FACS satellite imagery of New Quebec and Imperialist redoubts to Gagarini and his forces. The 16 submarines formerly on raids in the southern Attican seas are tasked to join up with their sister ships in Imperial FPC waters and supplement their convoy harassment operations.

"Well lads it looks like our embargo just went selective and hot, i'm dumping all approved nation codes to the central core now. Anything not matching these codes or operating in a directly hostile manner is now clear for fire, repeat we are hence forth weapons free."

"aye aye sir!" responded the flag crew as the order were rapidly transfered via data link to all the crookfur forces.

Still no reply then suddenly

"BREAK BREAK BREAK!!!! I have launch from target Zulu 34, counter measures working! launch intercepted. Flight Siera Kilo November, you are weapons free on target zulu 34 over"

"roger wilco on that control, over!"

High in the night above the oceon 2 Double Dragon fighters opened thier weapons bays and 4 anti shipping missiles streaked in on the hostile freighter. All 4 struck amidships liertally tearing the vessel appart in a brilliant fireball that lit the sky and breifly siloetted the 2 fighters against the sky. In the distance a Crookfur vessel began to manouver in the collect survivors.

So what next for Mike? what are the underground upto now? perhaps we could do our own little jail break to bring the various foreigners together?

Battle for New-Quebec and it's county of Quebeka, day 1

15 million Reformists soldeirs were gathered along with 15,000 tanks + 5,000 artillery piecers & 1,300 aircrafts. This would be the last act of the 4th Civil war but the most dangerour one. Opposing this impressive mass of Reformists = 5 million Imperial soldiers (4 million SSS-FPC, 500,000 partisans and 500,000 clone soldiers) + 6,500 tanks + 1,200 artillery pieces + 200 aircrafts.

The Imperials have virtually no way of winning. They have no industries left and no way of escaping FPC. However, they will follow the Emperor to the end. The biggest part of finishing the war will be assaulting the numerous large forrests inside the county of Quebeka. However, Reformists generals are confident that they can breakthrough easily.

~ The Spasvha's riots
There is nearly no fight left in the Non-citizens and special Reformists bataillon left in New-Quebec fighting in teh ghettos. The few trops left only form small pockets of resistance that fight eagerly to the last bullet. This ends the vaillant and not entirely futile revolt of the Spasvhas.

The eighteen attack submarines launch full strikes on what remains of Imperialist-controlled harbors, docks, and large ships in port. At this point, only ships flying neutral or allied colors and small civilian craft are spared the submariners' wrath. Even merchant container ships in port, sitting empty thanks to the international blockade, are torpedoed or hit with missiles to prevent them being used as escape ships.

Emma screamed in pain as the boiling water hit her wounds. She started crying, and remembered her training.

"I don't know anything. What do you want from me?" she sobbed. "Please, just let me go"

She popped a small capsule in her tooth, and bit down hard, breaking the seal and activating an emergency beacon. Soon they would come, she tought, and i will be free.


In MAFCCP, the beacon flashed up on a large scale map of FPC. Within hafl an hour, new assault had been ordered, with full aerial and land based support. The planning began.

Inside the McLeodian base, some 2,500 Royal Marine paratroopers loaded into transport aircraft, and 35 F-100s were armed with air-to-air and SEAD weaponry. A further 12 AC-130 Spectres were loaded, ready to provide fire-support.

Also forming was a large armoured column, consisting of 25 Leopard 2Ms, 35 light tanks, 35 M3-A2 Bradleys, and over 100 empty 8-tonne trucks. On board the Bradleys were troops of the elite 2nd Army, ready to clear the remainder of the base once the column had reached the prison of the McLeodian NSOC agent.

Finally, on a large container ship north of New Quebec, 12 MV-44s loaded fully with 50 Black Panthers and 250 NSOC commandos began take off routines.

The plan was simple. The special forces would amke their way into overwatch positions around the base, providing information and photographs to MAFCCP. On recieving this data, final planning would be made, and the paratroopers would be sent to assault the base, capturing as much as possible. The special forces would help them take the base, then help them hold it.

Once the transports and their escorting F-100s had taken off, the armoured column and the Spectres would take off to support the troops on the ground.

On arriving, the paratroops would fall back into the trucks, the special forces would pull out using the MV-44s once the base had been secured and booby-trapped, taking the NSOC agent with them.

Finally, the armoured force would pull out, escorting the trucks. Air cover would be provided for the convoy as it rolled back to the main McLeodian base.

OOC: FPC, please let me know if there were any casualties in my tank divisions, they have been outfitted with reactive armor.

IC:

U-Boats 100-130 (30 UBoats, Los Angeles class) launch Tomahawks at the coordinates given to them by the Reformists.

To McLeod03: an action like this would most likely work but you will have no support from either the Reformists or your own troops since New-Quebec is surrounded by the 14th province that is full of Imperial soldiers.

To Kahta: well, it depends where they landed. But since all beaches are under Reformist command, your tanks should not have receive any casualties.

To Attica:
Report of bombings: 5 bunkers, with large naval guns, destroyed + 10 medium size bunkers near New-Quebec.

To support the McLeodian rescue operation, the Federation submarine task force launches cruise missile strikes at random air defense sites in the adjacent sector to draw away resources.

With the intelligence from the spec-ops observation posts gathere and analysed, the mission is put on hold whilst strike craft are loaded to bear. Another phase is added to the planning, and half an hour before the take-off of the transports, 12 EB-1Cs are launched, heading for the 14th Province. Each launches 8 Wolverine missiles at known Imperial bases along the route of entry for the transports and the armoured column.

The 96 missiles are loaded with cluster munitions, and prgrammed to attack large areas of pre-fabricated buildings and tents. Each arries three main bomblet bays, and one final warhead, which will be targeted against tanks, bunkers, and large buildings that look like control centers.

As the missiles reach their targets, the F-100s launch, followed by the C-130 transports.

Closely behind are the AC-130s, newly bolstered by the arrival of 24 A-10s from the 5th CSW. They add their own fire to the bases en route as they head for the military complex.

The armoured column starts up, the smoke from diesel exhausts billiowing the wind, and high on the front tank was the McLeodian flag, flying next to the flag of the 1st Dragoons, the Kings own Cavalry.

With squeeking and popping, the tanks moved off, gaining speed, until they reached the fastest speed the roads would allow them.

The attack had begun.

Battle for New-Quebec and it's county of Quebeka, day 2

In the northern part of Quebeka (14), there are large forests that, if well defended, can stop a well trained army in it's tracks. These large groupings of trees were defended by the 600,000 strong army of Partisans units. The Emperor taught that they would not come into major contact with the ennemy and put them there because of their lack of training. They were to be part of one of the bloodiest battle in all of FPC's history... the battle of the Grouchy forest.

Battle of the Grouchy foest, day 1
The 4th,5th,6th,9th,12th and 20th Reformist army are sent to take the strategic position of the Grouchy forest. 3 million soldiers + 5,000 tanks & 2,000 pieces of artillery will attack 600,000 Partisans + 300 tanks & 190 pieces of artillery.

The assault begins at 8:00 AM when over 500,000 soldiers attack the left side of the forest. They are met with stiff resistance and do not gain any ground. (Losses: Reformist = 2,300 inf dead + 13 tanks destroyed / Imperials = 1,800 inf dead + 20 tanks destroyed)

At 10:00 AM, the right side and left side are attacked by over 800,000 soldiers. Then again, they are met by stiff resitance but fight until nightfall. But, the Reformists must fallback. (Reformists = 4,300 dead + 47 tanks destroyed / Imperials = 4,900 dead + 30 tanks destroyed + 2 artillery pieces)

The Reformists manage to send 10 fighters to the forest. They do precision bombing and destroy ammo caches.

Large scale assault on all sides of the forest. The Reformists gain ground only after a day-long fight.

Artillery barrage in the morning (Imp=340 dead+1 tank) followed by mass attack on all sides of the forest that goes well into the night adn continues into the next day's morning. The fighting only ends after the Reformists gain 400 meters.

Grouchy forest, day 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12
Intense hand to hand fighting continues. Soldiers fight so close that one grenade can kill up to 10 of them at one time! More reinforcements are sent and when they all die, more are sent again. Fire fights are particularly intensive in the right part of the forest where several bunkers have been set up by the Imperials and, with the tanks incapable of accessing the deeper parts of the forest, they are able to resit longer than the rest. After 5 days, the Reformists are finnaly able of taking the Imperial bunkers on the rigth flank.
Casualties: Ref = 50,300 dead + 90 tanks + 4 artillery / Imp = 40,050 dead + the rest of the tanks

Day 13
With no tanks left, the Imperials resort to laying booby traps and hiding in bushes for surprise attacks. These do an incredible amount of damage to the Reformists wich cannot advance.
Casualties: Ref = 560 dead / Imp = 200 dead

Day 14, 15 & 16
With more than 70% of the forest in Reformist hands, the Generals (Reformist) launch a large scale assault on all fronts. For 3 days, hundreds of thousands of soldiers fight out one of the largest charge in a small area in FPC’s history. After 3 days, the reformists are able to take 80% of the forests.
Casualties : Ref = 50,000 dead / Imp = 56,000 dead

Day 17 + outside invasions
-Counter attack by the Imperials. At one point, they overwhelm the Reformists and nearly manage to break their lines but reinforcements are braught just in time to save the collapsing Reformist line.
Casualties: ref = 17,000 dead / Imp = 13,000 dead

-All the other Reformist armies all around the county of Quebeka invade it and take huge portions of lands. Imperials barely fight back since they have been ordered back to New-Quebec and it’s surroundings to defend it.

Day 18, 19 & 20
With one final assault, the Reformists manage to break the Imperial lines and capture the rest of the Grouchy forest. Casualties are high on both side and the ammount of corpses and blood is unbelievable. However, this is a major tactical victory for the Reformist army. This battle cost 600,000 soldiers and many pieces of equipement to a weakened army.
Casualties: Ref = 194,600 dead / Imp = 356,000 dead

Overall casualties(added both side): 804 123 dead, 557 tanks destroyed and 197 pieces of artillery destroyed
Reformists : 313 973 dead, 257 tanks and 7 pieces of artillery
Imperials : 490 150dead, 300 tanks and 190 pieces of artillery

All throughout this battle, unmanned combat air vehicles launched from the submarine task force attack remaining Imperialist air defenses and heavy artillery in New-Quebec.

OOC: I am assuming this is an old growth forest with big trees and almost no room to move inside it.

As the battle raged the 1,500 M1-A2 tanks from Kahta were unable to reach the combat lines and sat on the sidelines. From time to time they were moved to clearings on the edges of the forest to prepare to engage the Imperialists but the Imperials never came.

Note to FPC: In the event of a counter strike on your forces that you cannot hold off, my tanks can cover the retreat of your forces as long as it is in the open.

OOC: FPC, are you going to post losses for the attack on the base?

IC: The missiles reach their targets, bomblets and warheads ripping through the Imperial bases.

Soon after, HARMs strike out at SAM and AAA sites on the corridor of entry for the transport aircraft.

Ten minutes after that, the droning of C-130s and the louder roar of A-10s can be heard as they assault wave reaches its drop zone.

The sky fills with parachutes as nearly 2,500 men jump onto five different drop zones around the perimeter of the base. In the meanwhile, fixed defensive positions are hit by Maverick missiles, and 105-mm, 40-mm, and 30-mm gunfire.

On the horizon can be seen a column of dust and diesel fumes. The cavalry was closing, fast.

When they hit the ground, the troops began their assault on the base, firing 60-mm mortar shells and numerous M203 grenades at fixed positions and machine gun nests. 10-mm rounds from the rifles of the highly trained specialists fill the air around the Imperial defenders with death.

ATGMs tear towards buildings identified as barracks and armouries.


Emma woke to the sound of gunfighting and explosions. They had come for her. Soon it would all be over, and she could go home. Feeling hatred for the man who raped her, she wriggled out of one strap, then undid the others. She was loose, and very angry.

The guard outside never stood a chance as she stabbed him through the neck with a piece of broken mirror, then snatched up his rifle and his sidearm. Emma turned, and ran down the corridor towards where she presumed the officers quarters to be.

1-Emma enters the officer's room where all is dark. She opens the light but sees no one in the room. As she begins to search for important paper work, she is struck from behind by the Lieutenant-Major who had abused her. He then takes away her gun and handcuffs her hands :

Attack on the city. The SSS-FPC fight it out and manage to keep hold of 95% of the city after 8 days of fighting.

Day 17 to 39
Assaults after assaults, Reformists finally take a foothold into New-Quebec. 90% is still held firm by Imperial forces.

Day 40 to 51
Continuous attacks. Soldiers die without having slept for days. Brutality is redefined: soldiers use shovels to decapitate ennemies if they have runned out of ammo.

Day 52 to 60
The Reformists own 27% of the city. Reformists assault every day, every hour to try and take more land. Reformist high-generals do not fear of sacrfying huge number of men. However, Imperial generals do care since they are outnumbered and outgunned. Each day, they come up with new urban warfare tactics to try and save or delay the invevitable Reformist victory.

Perhaps these are Attican airplanes. A couple years ago they spary painted my colors and name on their planes to attack my bases. You should investigate. However, it canno't be reall FPCian aircrafts since the little FPC does have is being used around the clock in the current civil war.

There is no evidence that the Attican Empire ever did such a thing.

OOC: plus if you DID attack FPC, I would immediately step in to defend.

Battle of New-Quebec, day 101
An all out artillery barrage held troughout the entire day. All artillery ammo and supplies for a whole month were spent. There are little houses left intact but this has also a disadvantage for the Reformists, the debris form an excellent defence.

Day 102 to 110
Cold winter intensifies and temperature drops to -50°C. Still, fighting continues. The Imperials manage to counter attack effectivily and take back positions and now control 60% of the city. However, this counter attack proved dangerously deadly.

Reformists: 90,100 dead

Day 111 to 120
Fighting stops for a short while for troops to rest. The cold also stops the fighters as many weapons cannot fire due to the frost in the firing mechanism. Many soldiers, from both sides die of cold.

Day 121 to 123
Bloody charge ~ Reformists High-Generals order a general charge and hundreds of thousands of soldiers charge the lightly and poorly defended self-made trenches and bunkers. Nontheless, the Imperials manage to hold on to many of their outposts but lose many men doig so.

Reformists: 101,000

Large battles rage throughout the wide city. They are no mere firefights but real battles with thousands of soldiers dying all around their comrades. The Reformists are able to break the hastly formed "bunker" line and they conquer 50% of the city.

Day 127 to 130
Large night battles take place. Soldiers from each sides are forced to fight it out without rest for 4 days. In spite of the freezing cold, lack of ammunition and nearly no competent generals, the Imperials managed to keep 45% of the city but they sustain many huge losses.

The Reformists gain 50% of the city through long house to house battles.

Day 134
Air raids conducted by the resupplied aircarfts. Few of them but they have an incredible payload. The Imperials can do little since they do not have many AA guns.

Day 135 to 137
Battle for the Holorin park ~ The Holorin park is known throughout FPC for it's beautiful flowers and green space in a big urbanised city. It is strategicaly important since it gives a direct access to downtown New-Quebec. The Reformist generals had planned for many days the battle and were finally happy with their plans. 500,000 Reformists soldiers charged the park held by no more than 90,000 Imperials. THe battle was fierce. Fighting often continued past sun set and for three days, there was only one battle being fought...the one for the Holorin park.

Eventhough they received reinforcements, the Imperials did not manage to hold the park and had to give way.

Day 138
After the stunning victory at Holorin park, the Reformist high-generals decided to lauch a major assault directed at the heart of downtown New-Quebec. Nearly 700,000 soldiers were dispatched and at 6:00 AM, they charged the streets and houses of downtown New-Quebec. Imperials were well entrenched in the bombed and damaged houses and shops but after 18 hours of fighting, the Reformists managed to capture nearly all of downtown thus holding 68% of the city.

Thank you for your kind offer. Yes, we have had many wars but I believe that this one is the final one. I plan to eliminate the Emperor title so that FPCian can rule themselves. We have had few good Emperors, FPC was the best and FPC II was ok. The rest soon began to be dictators.

You have to understand, we are a proud nation and do not want to be controlled by an outside nation. I truly believe that with hard work, FPC wil be brought to a new glory.

Battle of New-Quebec, day 139
With the capture of the Holorin park and downtown New-Quebec, the Reformist's moral was at an all time high. The Imperials, however, were thinking of surrendering. That is why the High-Generals and the Emperor decided on an ingenious plan: around 1,5 million soldiers would escape the city and take refuge in the Tarawinski Islands to the north of FPC while others would go in pro-imperial villages in the North-Western part of FPC.

Throughout the night, all the desiganted soldiers made their escape through dense forests that were left unguarded or through secret sewers unknown to the Reformists.

Day 140
At dawn, the city of New-Quebec looked as it had always looked since the begining of the battle: bombed buildings, burning houses... dead corpses. No body could assume that nearly 1,5 million soldiers had left the previous night to fight another day. The Imperials decided to put into action their clone soldiers. They fell back on about 20% of the city to give the illusion of heavy fire. THe Reformists did not attack that day but they took the abandonned defences.

Day 141
Realising the big opportunity that laid ahead, the Reformist High-Generals began scheming a big attack. At around 11:00 AM, all the available reformist soldiers were ordered to charge the buildings left in Imperial control. Some of them were the previous High-Counsil, the Secret service headquarters & the national cathedral.

At first, the Reformists were beaten back due to the extreme training the clone soldiers had received. But several charges later, that training came unhandy since the clone soldiers had run out of ammo. They nontheless fought with everything they could find but that wasn't enough.

The problem with the Imperials is that they have limited ammo production capabilities. They can only supply each soldie with around 5 cartridges of ammo daily. So, the clone soldiers fell back even deeper into the heart of the city. They were still holding around 9% of the city.
Casualties:

Reformists: 345,000

Federation hunter-killer submarines maintain their patrols in the northern seas of FPC.
