FyreStorm News Channel Special Report

"Good evening friends. This is Kathy Glagger of FNC News. We have just learned of an immense explosion at the Fyreheartian National Spacial Research Institute, located in the Fyreheartian desert. Reports are conflicting as of the moment, but from what we have been able to gather, the new Warp Theory project that was in the process of being developed by scientist Fredrico Hollis had an incompatibility with the new M-101 technology in use by the Fyreheartian Air Force. Preliminary reports indicate that a crack in an anti-matter tank, caused by plasma leakage from M-101 weapons being installed, allowed some kind of anti-matter waste product to come in contact with the ships outer hull."

Kathy is handed a note by a member of the news crew staff.

"We have reports of emergency crews on the scene, and many casualties. FyreStorm will follow this story and bring you updates as they become available. This truly is a sad day for Fyreheart's space program."

The President was very sleepy, soon to board his dropship to get to the PSS Miona, which was high in orbit.

His secretary ran to him quickly. She seemed panicked and upset.
"Mr. President! We've got a terrible situation!"
"What's that, Ms. Brown?"
"An explosion has occurred at the Fyreheartian National Spacial Research Institute!"
The President looked shock and concerned. Slowly he said, "But..my God! This is terrible. We must send help immediately, and I want you to send an official letter via e-mail to the Fyreheartian government sending my personal condolences."
"Yes sir."
--------

The Republic of Isla de Penguinata sends its heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Fyreheart. A long time ally, we are sending hundreds of rescue workers, doctors, and paramedics. They should arrive soon. We hope that this catastrophe may be avoided again, and we certainly hope that the families of the deceased and injured may be able to live their lives again.
