Undergoing a massive overhaul, and the restructuring of the entire military.
((OOC: I'm doing this for several reasons, the first of which is to have a running record of what I've got, the second, as a storefront thread incase I later decide to make some money off of this. I am a space nation, I'm not going to start ranting and raving here about how modern nations and space nations can have battles and not have a technology gap so wide that it sodomizes the modern nation. My fleet is built to compete with Space Tech nations, and the Space Marines are armored to deal with Space Tech armies. The Takian Imperial Army on the other hand, is equiped and outfitted to be equivilent to a modern to near future tech army, yet still be able to compete against space tech. Am I out of my mind for trying to get the best of both worlds? most likely, but if I'm too big for modern nations and get ignored, and too small for space nations and get stepped on, so be it. Takian Space Armada
Mizuna Class Super Dreadnaught
Only two were produced, and for good reason, the construction of these two alone required an entire star system in unclaimed space be stripped to the bedrock for minerals. Durring the Adamite wars, both were badly damaged, and rather than spend the resources to repair both, the Prince Taka and Princess Ami were merged, reiforced, and competly overhauled with new technology and equipment. Currently, only one exists, the champion of the Takian Fleet, and packing more than enough firepower to wipe out entire fleets, and sail through with minor, if any damage.

Nemisis class Stealth Starship
Built in secret in the NMS system, the Nemisis was the first Takian ship to utilize Ortagian stealth technology. Compeltly invisible to sensors, IR scanners, active radar, and FTL sensors, its absorbtion shields have been modified to draw in light from the surrounding areas, making it next to impossible to detect through visual means. It utilizes a Takatanium Lance to break holes in enemy shielding before unleashing volleys of plasma torpedeos and striking with its prow mounted slicer cannon. It has one pilot who is kept in stasis at the center of the ship. His mind is merged with the AS system onboard, essentialy making this a living starship, and one of the most deady weapons in the Takian Fleet.

Part of a joint effort with Vernii, the Andorian Class is essentialy a large sphere, with holographic projectors around it giving it the appearance of an asteriod. Samurai Class Dreadnaught

The siege breaker of the Takian Fleet, this ship is a multi-purpous powerhouse. able to give as well as it gets, very few craft can survive the full onslaught of a battleship for long. Armed and armored on par with or better than most nation’s dreadnaughts and super dreadnaughts, the battleship is a one ship fleet, taking with it a reputation earned through countless kills and mountains of hulks in its wake.

Takian Airforce
Gunship
The largest ship in the Takian Fleet unable to sustain long space flights, its speed and armor are more than enough to protect it long enough to releace its ordinance, and its fold drivers allow it to pull out of a dangerous possition quickly. They come in two varieties, the anti-capitalship and the anti-escort, the first loaded with torpedoes, the second with heavy balistic weaponry.

Bomber
The bomber has evolved much from its atmospheric predecessor, trading the old massive form for a smaller, faster, sleeker frame. Holding two pods massive enough to carry even the all powerful Fusion Torpedeos, even a single bomber can devistate an entire city.

Fighter
With the evolution of the Bomber, the fighter was forced to match pace with it, and pack larger weapons, meaning a slightly weaker overall frame on the old, winged designs, thus the creation of the flying wing, able to carry heavy ordinance, projectiles and laser weapons, keeping pace with even the fastest of bombers. While generaly too weak to cause much harm against capital ships, a full squadron of them can cause probelems for a lone escort, making fighters commonplace amoung pirates.

Tactical Power Armor
Though it may look bulky, tactical power armor is really a flexible titanium/polymer blend with an integrated flexible crystal matrix designed to hug the users body and adapt to the environment as it comes. . . through advanced user interfaced AI, it can either allow a solid object to enter for containment and storage, or can become solid to protect the user from projectiles, debris, solar radiation and the like. It carries enough air for 24 hours of sustained use, and enough booster fuel for 3 hours of sustained thrust/maneuvering. It also has a built in recovery becon, allowing the quick rescue of downed pilots.

An evolution of the shotgun, the shrapnel gun fires balls that explode a preprogramed distance from the gun barrel, showering anything dirrectly infront of the shooter with shards of hot lead, and lengths of filiment, a nickle/polymer metal known for its ability to cut deeply whatever it touches. Its not unknown for somoene taking a dirrect blast from a shrapnel gun to be cut into smaller peices.

lance cannons
using a rail gun to fire a tungstun slug, the lance cannon would seem a failure. . . that is untill Takian scientists managed to freeze at absolute zero a fusing hydrogen atom. Implating these half fused frozen atoms in the center of the slugs, Lance cannons are able to project lances of fusing tungston against ships. able to cut through armro as if it never existed, the lance cannons have been hailed as the next greek fire. The rapid decomospition of absolute zero fields and the rapid fusion leaves a burning stream behind the cannons path, seeming like burning lances, hence the name.
Nova Cannons
The last word in destructive power, by shooting a fusing core of Takatanium it is able to "absorb" energy shields and pass through them as if they never existed, before a traditional antimatter warhead punches through the armor, sending an explosion through the ship, expanding behind it and using the shockwaves to both widen the point of impact and the point where it exits *on the other side of the ship* as well as opening the area it traveled through and causing the hull to expaned. .. generaly making it lose integrety and shattering the ship. Able to destroy or severly damage and cripple all but the most massive of capital ships, as well as being an excelent weapon to put large holes in a planet, the Nova Cannon is ithe most powerful weapon in the known Takian arsenal, and thankfully also the most rare, as the cannon can only be fitted on the largest of ships. The normal variaty uses a 10 MT charge, the Heavy uses a 5 GT warhead.
Spacial Distortion Projector
Essentialy a black hole gun, it creates a spacial distortion and projects it via fold driver along a straigth line corse. Able to tear entire continents apart, there are only two in existance, the scientiest who held the knoweledge for producing them destroyed all notes before walking out of an airlock, taking this weapons's secrets with him to the grave. Thus far, no one has been able to even come close to reproducing this awesome weapon.
Plasma Torpedoes
The most common of torpedoes, the plasma torpedo slams into the enemy ship's hull, burrowing as deeply as it can before discharging its plasma charge into the hole, tearing deeply into the hull.
Fusion Torpedoes
Designed to explode with tremendous heat, superheating the structure, leading to breakdowns in life support, warping of the superstructure, and fusing the exposed weapons in place on the hull.
Scatter Torpedoes
used against frigates and smaller craft, the scatter torpedoes are essentialy a cluster of AA missiles, cased in a long range delivery system. Each one contains 20 AA missiles, enough to fill a sky with contacts and swamp smaller ships with explosives.
Takatanium Torpedoes
TT's, or Snowballs as they are often called are a form of EMP weapon, utilizing ultra low tempratures to accualy slow the travel of energy and condence it to mass. It has a bonus side effect of making the armor of its impact zone very brittle.
HEPD Fields
Hutchison Effect Point Deflector Fields, or HEPD Fields work by projecting a screen of energy at a single point of space, redirecting inertial energy and sending solid object flying away from the ship. Used primarily to keep the ship from being damaged while moving through space debris fields and meteor belts, it has been found effective to stop incoming projectile weapons. It is too slow to stop energy weapons.
Deflector Shields
More of an absorbtion shield, it takes incoming energy shots and chanels them into generators which vent it into the main generators, charging batteries, and powering non-vital combat systems. Under intence fire it can overload, thus larger ships generaly have both redundant absorbtion shields as well as multiple generators.
Titanium Polymer Armor
A titanium armor with a polymer blended through it that allows it to flex and return to normal shape for absorbing heavy impacts, when hit, impact area goes ridgid while area around it flexes inward, after the energy has been dispurced, it goes back to its true shape within 45 seconds.
Tungstun Cermatite Armor
Heat deflection armor, designed to survive high heat conditions without melting, it distrubuted the heat over the entire surface rapidly, providing excelent defence against laser and plasma based weapons.
NESS units and Berzerkers
Takian NESS units are geneticaly engenered super soldiers, though they are still bound by the human, squill and agroll forms, meaning that none of them are able to do anything more than a particulary buff athelete can do, that have had the entirty of thier nuerological networks hand wired. They think what we want them to think, and have a psychology exactly the same type we wish to give them. Once the physical neuralogical pathways of the brain have been hard wired, an Artificial Sentience program is downloaded into the brain, the ultimate merger of man and machine. They think as we need them to think, act as we need them to act, and do what we need them to do. Each unit is both a soldier, and a General, able to follow orders just as easily as give them. Unfortunatly over time stress begins to ravage the AS program, causing a breakdown of pathways and the ultimate disentergration of logic prossessors, corruption of data translators, and the complete deletion of Friend/Foe distinguishers. The closest human condition is psychosis, followed by sociopathic rage, and bloodlust. The Squill revert to a primative, anamistic state, befitting its reptillian form, where it seeks to hunt down and feed upon as many prey as it can, glutting itself on the carrion once it has secured an area of hostiles, or anything that moves, depending on its mood at the time. The Agrol becomes a Sociopath in every way, urbane, manipulative, and carefully planning out thier killing sprees so as to avoid being captured. . . coupled with the psychic powers the Agrol race has already at its disposal, the Agrol entering Berzerker phase are the hardest to detect, and the greatest threat to our people. The Human NESS units simply enter uncontrolable rage, not entirly beastial, they seek to cause as much pain to the individual as possible. These raving Sadists generaly forgo firearms for blades, and while prefer to cause pain, should not be seen as slow. its a common tactice for Berzerking NESS humans to disembowl thier quary, leaving them alive, only to die in sever pain after waisting away for weeks or even months. Once a NESS has reached the boarderline it is taken to a cryofacility, a prossess that generaly pushes them over the edge on the way to stasis, and then locked in cryo tubes for deep sleep. when needed, they are taken from thier cryo statis and transfired to a drop pod, releaced towards the planet's surface, and given what weapons they were most proficent with in life, along with a pistol, katana, and whatever they requested on the way to the droppod from the ships weapon lockers. IT should be noted, that not all NESS units reach a psychotic state, many serving their combat terms and being releaced to civilian status as a war veterian. With the standard 50 year service time *NESS units cna live to be around 200-250 because of Augmented physical forms* only 15% start the prossess of berzerker phase, 5% fully sucumb. The 10% that start it, but do not fully sucumb are only minimaly impaired, however as a precaustion, they are kept on the Veterin Island, to segragate them from the rest of the Takian populous. We currently have 3,000,000 NESS units on active duty, and about 600,000 berzerker units *as berzerkers are not releaced, we cycle 60,000 units every year, replacing veterins with new units, as well as filling the holes caused by losses within the ranks, we also gain about 3,000 berzerker units a year, which keeps the population steady, as losses of berzerkers few and far between. A final note on conclusion, Berzerker drops have been deemed weapons of mass destruction, and biological warfare on a large scale. . . The use of Berzerkers is looked down on, and should only be a last resort.

I am a space nation, I'm not going to start ranting and raving here about how modern nations and space nations can have battles and not have a technology gap so wide that it sodomizes the modern nation. Only two were produced, and for good reason, the construction of these two alone required an entire star system in unclaimed space be stripped to the bedrock for minerals. Nemisis class Stealth Starship
Built in secret in the NMS system, the Nemisis was the first Takian ship to utilize Ortagian stealth technology. Compeltly invisible to sensors, IR scanners, active radar, and FTL sensors, its absorbtion shields have been modified to draw in light from the surrounding areas, making it next to impossible to detect through visual means. It utilizes a Takatanium Lance to break holes in enemy shielding before unleashing volleys of plasma torpedeos and striking with its prow mounted slicer cannon. It has one pilot who is kept in stasis at the center of the ship. His mind is merged with the AS system onboard, essentialy making this a living starship, and one of the most deady weapons in the Takian Fleet.

Samurai Class Dreadnaught

by folding space in on itself, till it reaches an infinate zero point, Takian ships are able to remove themselves from both realspace and the time line, essentialy teleporting to any nearby gravity well.

lance cannons
using a rail gun to fire a tungstun slug, the lance cannon would seem a failure. . . that is untill Takian scientists managed to freeze at absolute zero a fusing hydrogen atom. Implating these half fused frozen atoms in the center of the slugs, Lance cannons are able to project lances of fusing tungston against ships. able to cut through armro as if it never existed, the lance cannons have been hailed as the next greek fire. The rapid decomospition of absolute zero fields and the rapid fusion leaves a burning stream behind the cannons path, seeming like burning lances, hence the name.
Nova Cannons
The last word in destructive power, by shooting a fusing core of Takatanium it is able to "absorb" energy shields and pass through them as if they never existed, before a traditional antimatter warhead punches through the armor, sending an explosion through the ship, expanding behind it and using the shockwaves to both widen the point of impact and the point where it exits *on the other side of the ship* as well as opening the area it traveled through and causing the hull to expaned. .. generaly making it lose integrety and shattering the ship. Able to destroy or severly damage and cripple all but the most massive of capital ships, as well as being an excelent weapon to put large holes in a planet, the Nova Cannon is ithe most powerful weapon in the known Takian arsenal, and thankfully also the most rare, as the cannon can only be fitted on the largest of ships. The normal variaty uses a 10 MT charge, the Heavy uses a 5 GT warhead.
Spacial Distortion Projector
Essentialy a black hole gun, it creates a spacial distortion and projects it via fold driver along a straigth line corse. Able to tear entire continents apart, there are only two in existance, the scientiest who held the knoweledge for producing them destroyed all notes before walking out of an airlock, taking this weapons's secrets with him to the grave. Thus far, no one has been able to even come close to reproducing this awesome weapon.
Plasma Torpedoes
The most common of torpedoes, the plasma torpedo slams into the enemy ship's hull, burrowing as deeply as it can before discharging its plasma charge into the hole, tearing deeply into the hull.
Fusion Torpedoes
Designed to explode with tremendous heat, superheating the structure, leading to breakdowns in life support, warping of the superstructure, and fusing the exposed weapons in place on the hull.
Scatter Torpedoes
used against frigates and smaller craft, the scatter torpedoes are essentialy a cluster of AA missiles, cased in a long range delivery system. Each one contains 20 AA missiles, enough to fill a sky with contacts and swamp smaller ships with explosives.
Takatanium Torpedoes
TT's, or Snowballs as they are often called are a form of EMP weapon, utilizing ultra low tempratures to accualy slow the travel of energy and condence it to mass. It has a bonus side effect of making the armor of its impact zone very brittle.
HEPD Fields
Hutchison Effect Point Deflector Fields, or HEPD Fields work by projecting a screen of energy at a single point of space, redirecting inertial energy and sending solid object flying away from the ship. Used primarily to keep the ship from being damaged while moving through space debris fields and meteor belts, it has been found effective to stop incoming projectile weapons. It is too slow to stop energy weapons.
Deflector Shields
More of an absorbtion shield, it takes incoming energy shots and chanels them into generators which vent it into the main generators, charging batteries, and powering non-vital combat systems. Under intence fire it can overload, thus larger ships generaly have both redundant absorbtion shields as well as multiple generators.
Titanium Polymer Armor
A titanium armor with a polymer blended through it that allows it to flex and return to normal shape for absorbing heavy impacts, when hit, impact area goes ridgid while area around it flexes inward, after the energy has been dispurced, it goes back to its true shape within 45 seconds.
Tungstun Cermatite Armor
Heat deflection armor, designed to survive high heat conditions without melting, it distrubuted the heat over the entire surface rapidly, providing excelent defence against laser and plasma based weapons.
NESS units and Berzerkers
Takian NESS units are geneticaly engenered super soldiers, though they are still bound by the human, squill and agroll forms, meaning that none of them are able to do anything more than a particulary buff athelete can do, that have had the entirty of thier nuerological networks hand wired. They think what we want them to think, and have a psychology exactly the same type we wish to give them. Once the physical neuralogical pathways of the brain have been hard wired, an Artificial Sentience program is downloaded into the brain, the ultimate merger of man and machine. They think as we need them to think, act as we need them to act, and do what we need them to do. Each unit is both a soldier, and a General, able to follow orders just as easily as give them. Unfortunatly over time stress begins to ravage the AS program, causing a breakdown of pathways and the ultimate disentergration of logic prossessors, corruption of data translators, and the complete deletion of Friend/Foe distinguishers. The closest human condition is psychosis, followed by sociopathic rage, and bloodlust. The Squill revert to a primative, anamistic state, befitting its reptillian form, where it seeks to hunt down and feed upon as many prey as it can, glutting itself on the carrion once it has secured an area of hostiles, or anything that moves, depending on its mood at the time. The Agrol becomes a Sociopath in every way, urbane, manipulative, and carefully planning out thier killing sprees so as to avoid being captured. . . coupled with the psychic powers the Agrol race has already at its disposal, the Agrol entering Berzerker phase are the hardest to detect, and the greatest threat to our people. The Human NESS units simply enter uncontrolable rage, not entirly beastial, they seek to cause as much pain to the individual as possible. These raving Sadists generaly forgo firearms for blades, and while prefer to cause pain, should not be seen as slow. its a common tactice for Berzerking NESS humans to disembowl thier quary, leaving them alive, only to die in sever pain after waisting away for weeks or even months. Once a NESS has reached the boarderline it is taken to a cryofacility, a prossess that generaly pushes them over the edge on the way to stasis, and then locked in cryo tubes for deep sleep. when needed, they are taken from thier cryo statis and transfired to a drop pod, releaced towards the planet's surface, and given what weapons they were most proficent with in life, along with a pistol, katana, and whatever they requested on the way to the droppod from the ships weapon lockers. IT should be noted, that not all NESS units reach a psychotic state, many serving their combat terms and being releaced to civilian status as a war veterian. With the standard 50 year service time *NESS units cna live to be around 200-250 because of Augmented physical forms* only 15% start the prossess of berzerker phase, 5% fully sucumb. The 10% that start it, but do not fully sucumb are only minimaly impaired, however as a precaustion, they are kept on the Veterin Island, to segragate them from the rest of the Takian populous. We currently have 3,000,000 NESS units on active duty, and about 600,000 berzerker units *as berzerkers are not releaced, we cycle 60,000 units every year, replacing veterins with new units, as well as filling the holes caused by losses within the ranks, we also gain about 3,000 berzerker units a year, which keeps the population steady, as losses of berzerkers few and far between. A final note on conclusion, Berzerker drops have been deemed weapons of mass destruction, and biological warfare on a large scale. . . The use of Berzerkers is looked down on, and should only be a last resort.
