StarCon is the space treaty organization. Its goal is equality and peace in space. Unlike the GA, we solve problems by words before actions. We do not change the constitution when things dont go our way, and we are a loyal, active group. We function like the world court. Members submit treaty proposals to be followed by the galactic community. Also members can lay a suit upon other nations, anything ranging from war crimes, to theft. A jury consisting of several nations will be cross examined for bias and then decide the verdict.

The Constitutuion

Article 1:
Every member shall be loyal to other members or be ejected and shamed.

Article 2:
Each member controls their own land. StarCon is more of a mental allience then physical.

Article 3:
Nations may donate things to the alliance at their discretion, it is not mandatory, but is highly appreciated.

Article 4:
Any technological developments in violation of treatys the alliance passes will result in the developers ejection.

Article 5:
Any enemy ship in member space will be treated as guests, not intruders. Only if they instigate an attack members will be allowed to shoot to kill.

Article 6:
Member nations must allowe free trade and passage to all other member nations.

Article 7:
If a member is under attack after joing the alliance, nations should come to the defence of the nation. Only the nation under attack is allowed to counter attack. Nations that respond to the attack are for defensive measures only.

Article 8:
The allience supports freedom in all nations and their peoples, slavery is not allowed in member nations.

Article 9:
Members may lay suit against other members, attacks on fellow members will not be tolerated.

Article 10:
Members and non members will be allowed to submit treatys at any time, compromises will come first, then a vote will occur, 51% of voters in a set time must agree for a treaty to become galactic.

I'd Like to Join but I'm in a slight Paradox

I want to Join a space alliance, as I am a fledgling space nation, and have a small fleet, but I have yet to take part in a Space RP as they all involve technology that is beyond my level, and I want to get my posts up by Joining an allaince and taking part in their RP's.

Oh well, thats what I have to say, I doubt you will acept me

Yeah, I saw the GA constitution, and I immediately disliked it. We may apply, as we are bug enough and have enough posts. One moment while I dig up an RP...

It's cryogenis suspended animation. It shuts down all body functions of a person, then can revive them. I have "frozen" my entire population twice, and deaths are rare. "Thaw" times are from 2 to 3 hours.
