Sagos Prime Minister Decries Oil Factory Aggression

Prime Minister Davis Imbaru condemned the The Rogue Nation of Oil Factory and its preemptive military tactic of "Operation Wipeout." When asked about the Oil Factory's aggression during the General Assmbly's question time, he said he does not see the matter resolving itself without the threat of force from the international community.

"There is no just cause for this action. Unfortunately, Oil Factory has thrown sense and good reason right out the window. Long talks and summits will not ensure the safety of other countries."

Imbaru said he will broach the issue with the Free World Organization this week, but would not commit any troops or funding without authorization from both the General Council and Assembly.

We were summoned into existence by our god. Machines do most of our work and we do not spoil ourselves with all the petty luxuries that most countries now can't live without. We were born to fight. We were born to kill. We were born to die on the field of battle.

I don't really think you can do that, else everyone else can say that machines do all their jobs and 90-100% of their population is their fighting force, and machines do all the logistics, etc.

75 EA-160C strike fighters make thier way to Oil Factory through a route linked by several military airports of the Marxist Pact. On arrival of thier missles' range, they will release an ordnance of EAW-12 cruise missles against Oil Factory's major military installations. Several EA-80 transport planes begin movement of the United Socialist States of Zvarinograd's troops into Oil Factory's territory. The troops' mission, to eradicate any and all resistance. May it be civilian or otherwise.

The Dominion of Kotterdam has already expressed its distaste for this military action elsewhere. We consider Zvarinograd to be a great friend of the Dominion, and as a result, you will soon find a pair of carrier battlegroups off your shore, supporting our ally. A third is on standby should these prove insufficient to the task of pacifying your nation. Having stopped off to embark further troops, the Dominion battlegroups arrive off the coast of Oil Factory to support the Zvarinograd forces. Immediately, the amphibious warfare vessels begin flooding their well decks to commence amphibious operations.

Forty LTA-1 Dieppe amphibious tanks lead the way, racing shoreward, their gunners seeking out targets on the beach head. Serious resistance was unlikely, however, as the Dominion hadn't given Oil Factory much in the way of time to prepare defenses. The one hundred and fifteen IFV-1 Normandys come next, following the tanks onto the beach.

As soon as they climb up onto the shore, the LCACs begin their operations, starting the task of shuttling the two hundred and twenty two MAFV-1 Borden medium tanks to hold the beachhead. When all was said and done, the entire ground force would be ashore, brought either by the LCACs, the amphibious vehicles, or the numerous helicopters of the battlegroup.

Meanwhile, the ships of the battlegroup began their support operations, using satelite imagery to target air defense stations within the country for destruction using their massive arsenal of Tomahawk cruise missiles. Thirty six cruise missiles lanced inshore for the opening wave of the attack, two missiles from each of the launching ships.

In support of Zvarinograd, a bombardment fleet of 3 Arsenal Ships supported by 5 Guided Missile Cruisers and a screen of 7 Destroyers has begun movement towards Oil Factory's coastline.

Satellites have been redirected to provide round-the-clock cruise missile guidance when the fleet arrives. Even now our intelligence division is compiling a list of targets from the data collected.

Zvarinograd, we request permission to approach.

Agreed. We look forward to the negotiations. The fleet will pull into a stationary position within ten minutes. The targeting list is completed, and missile cells AA through FK are standing by aboard the artillery ships.

Three LTA-1 tanks fall to the enemy anti-tank mines before hunkering down and holding position to allow IFV-1 vehicles with mine-clearing flails to take the lead, destroying the mines in place as they advanced. The return fire was withering, with thirty seven 105mm Electro-Thermal Chemical cannons blasting into the Oil Factory positions. The 25mm chain guns and TOW missiles of the IFV-1s lash out into the Oil Factory defenders.

The LCACs scoot over above the mines, not exerting enough ground pressure to detonate even an anti-personel mine. Racing onto the shore, they deposit their cargo behind the screen of mines. Twenty MAFV-1 Borden medium tanks open up with their 130mm ETC cannons even as helicopters begin to deposit infantry behind the enemy lines to sweep up into the defensive positions and brush them aside. The eight Comanche attack helicopters cover these operations, raining death on the defenders.

Out at sea, the massive sixteen inch guns of the DKS Shearwater and the DKS Neptune come about to target the defensive positions lining the beach. A punishing barrage hammers at the enemy positions even as the skies begin to darken with Dominion fighters, the complete air wings of the four aircraft carriers flooding in-land to lash at the enemy positions with precision guided munitions and cannon fire.

The Dominion of Kotterdam would like to engage in a similar exchange of diplomats with the Republic of Ancient Terra once this conflict has been resolved. We are confident that closer ties between our two nations would be in the interests of us both.

Five Sprut-SDM tanks foolishly run over the mines, getting destroyed. The long barrels of 75 AZS-1 heavy self-propelled artillery lob 406mm shells against Oil Factory's batteries and AA defenses as Zvarinograd positions itself, waiting for Kotterdam to clear enough mines to break past the line. EA-26B attack helicopters give further support to Kotterdam infantry. A lone EA-80 transport drops in the Snaeperskayan Elite nearby friendly forces and begin picking off infantry in brief skirmishes. 20 CFAM LAV15 Indra IFVs retrofitted with mine-clearing dozers begin helping them. A group of 200 soldiers from the 23rd Infantry Battalion take mine detectors and pitch in the effort as well.

Within seconds, aboard the Arsenal Ship TRV Herald the message was recieved. The Captain took it, read it for a second, and the did an about face.

"Lieutenant Greer! Lock-in coordinates 102843-283753! Target all enemy armor! Launch tubes AA-FZ"

There was a hurried acknowledgement from the weapons officer, and a second later he gave a nod that he'd finished his work.

"Captain, safeties are off...uplinking to GPS system...now."

"Fire!"

With rapid succession, 156 cruise missiles launched from the Arsenal ship, their white exhaust plumes washing over the deck. The missile then arced as they acquired targetting from the GPS Satellites, and sprinted off to kill the enemy armor around the oil factory. The captain turned.

"Ready second salvo." he ordered.

With the signal of the salvos fired by the Arsenal Ship TRV Herald as well as the clearing of the mines, all of the United Socialist States of Zvarinograd's forces initiate a blitzkrieg operation against the forces of Oil Factory. All hell broke loose. The 5th, 13th and 14th infantry, 3rd and 7th armor divisions engage the remaining armor units as the 4th armor division and all remaining infantry divisions initiate a deep western flank against enemy supply lines. EA-26B helicopters who are in the immediate area (who are not busy supporting Kotterdam's forces) as well as twelve F-117A Nighthawk stealth attack fighters coordinate with the attacks to provide coordinated air cover. All of Zvarinograd's present AZS-1 heavy artillery begin full bombardment of any and all concentrations of Oil Factory troops, again, in coordination with the attacks. Back at Zvarinograd, EA-80 transport planes and AZ-SMF-02 "Deus ex Machina" hypermanueverable air superiority fighters begin thier flight towards Oil Factory's nearest airbase in an attempt to capture it for further operations, EA-160C strike fighters which have returned from the initial strike reload EAW-12 cruise missles for a second ordnance run.
