Selling White Phosphorous In Grams Seperately For Use In All Artillery And Tank Shells.
Cost: 20$/5 Ounce.

Special Delivery Shells Can Be Manufactured For Increased Effectiveness For An Additional 45$/Artillery Shell And 150$/Tank Shell.

The M15 White Phosphorous Grenade

(1) Body -- sheet metal.

(2) Filler -- 15 ounces of white phosphorus.

(3) Fuze -- M206A2 standard.

(4) Weight -- 31 ounces.

(5) Capabilities -- the average soldier can throw the grenade 30 meters. The grenade has a bursting radius of 17 meters. All friendly personnel within this 17-meter area should be in a covered position to avoid being struck by burning particles. The WP filler burns for about 60 seconds at a temperature of 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit. This intense heat causes the smoke produced by the grenade to rise quite rapidly, especially in cool climates. This makes the grenade less desirable for use as a screening agent. Also usable as a flash grenade.

(6) Color/markings -- grey with one yellow band and yellow markings.

(7) First aid -- treat burns caused by WP in the same way as ordinary burns. If particles of WP are embedded in the flesh, immerse the wound in water or pack with wet cloths to halt combustion. Then pick out or squeeze out the WP. The particles will reignite spontaneously if allowed to dry. Apply copper sulphate solution to halt combustion of the WP particles. This permits them to be removed without igniting.

they are nasty little grenades but i don't know if they've been outlawed by the geneva convention.

and if you want to see what happens with a white phosphorus, watch "We Were Soldiers."

Great for setting things on fire and turning people into ash.
We don't use them. * whistles while hiding a crate *.

Anyone actually have a list of what is banned in the geneva convention?

Oddly enough, I think “Wooden Bullets” are on there somewhere, I think but I’m not sure, that they were used in WW1 when people started running low on metal… they real nasty because they splinter on impact, making the bullet damn near impossible to fully remove.

I know Hollow Point bullets are on there.

so the military has to use full metal jacket.
16-10-2003, 16:27
Wooden bullets

Thats gotta hurt. At least flame is damn near instant.

Imagine it, 10 splinters heading at you at Mach 1.....

Alright, let's get off the issue of "warcrimes", mainly because I operate outside of your UN. As for what was banned, tough, you can get it from me. Now, for the sake of profit and continuation: keep your comments to a minimum, and BUMP!

DU is over-rated. And punching straight through is exactly what you don't want in an anti-personel round; a slower bullet will do more damage when it tumbles through the soft tissues.

Point of info here. The WP grenades are no longer made in the 'can' style, current model is pictured here http://corbinscreations.tripod.com/M34combo_lg.jpg
Those are resin cast models of the real thing and the maker is ex-military so they are accurate. :)

OOC:
They were partially outlawed...no using them on civvies.

I've actually read through a good part of several of the conventions (most thoroughly was the convention on the treatment of civilians and occupied lands though warfare was also covered).

People tend to over-exaggerate the coverate of the GCs (not to mention that many just take it as a single doc). Glad to see that people here know their stuff.

The major conventions on AP mines and Chem weapons are only from the 90's.
