Western Arabia, how can you afford to hire 40 million mercs? And equip them and everything? 16,000 jets, at a conservative price of $20 million apiece, is 320 billion dollars. Also, the mercs would cost at least $10,000 apiece to equip, so another 400 billion dollars. You have 6 million people. This is godmodding in the extreme: you cannot have, in one day, 200,000 PER CAPITA! Even frightening economies aren't given anything more than 35-45 thousand per capita per day, and thriving is about 20-25 thousand. So, your 3% income tax rate * $25,000 per capita * 6 million people = 4.5 billion dollars. And this is with low cost estimates and high income estimates. This war never happened.

Also, you might want to specify what kinds of jets you're using. For all I know, they could be 16,000 SR-71s taking pictures at 70,000 feet.
