Normally I don't get involved in these n00b-fests but Nidor and Hidas have both been sending hateful telegrams to me every day, so I am going to defend Sambonia, not necessarily in a war. Your reasons for war suck too, i just thought i'd let you know that. wait, no, you just suck. :D all three of you.

The United Socialist States of Zvarinograd urges Airom to provide the world a reason for the war. Whatever may be the answer, we would like to remain neutral. However, we will be purchasing the brains of dead Airom soldiers from whichever country is responsible for killing them into our military psychological and neurological research project.

Based on the continued lack of progress in persuading the so-called Blue Hand to stand down and cease preparations for offensive action, the Dominion of Kotterdam has taken the following steps.

1) Orders have been sent to our ABM bases to bring them to alert status in the extremely unlikely event that any of these nations has both ballistic missile capabilities and the will to use them against the Dominion.

2) The Dominion-class aircraft carrier DKS Victory and her battlegroup have also recieved orders placing them on alert. They are at this time en route to international waters off the coast of Airom in preparation for a possible preemptive strike. Any aggressive action towards the battlegroup will be interpreted as an attempt at an attack, and will draw an appropriate response.

The Prime Minister has asked me to deliver this ultimatum rather than doing so personally because such personal statements are reserved for equals, and the Prime Minister in no way considers the leadership of Airom, or of the so-called Blue Hand to be his equal.

The Democratic States of Mef stands behind Kotterdam in the decision that The Blue Hand must stand down. If the situtuation escalates, we will have no choice but enter the conflict.

This move is primarily meant to show the flag and to pre-position forces in the area should the Blue Hand make the move they have threatened. I will warn, though, that if my nations forces believe they are about to be fired upon, they have orders not to wait for the other side to make the first move. This only applies to imminent tactical threats like Blue Hand fighters moving into firing position, not strategic ones like troop movements.

We aren't here to start a fight but, by God, we'll finish it if we have to.

I strongly condemn this unprovoked attack on a soverign nation, Noob. I urge you to reconsider this useless show of force and will not recognize the government of Airom unless it completely withdraws its forces, and disarms its nukes.

OOC: P.S. strongly condemn is the toughest pair of words in diplospeak, short of using extreme measures to punish a nation (from embargoes, to ostacration(sp?), to war).

Airom has been officially blacklisted by the Grand Empire.

The Dominion of Kotterdam is pleased to see that common sense has prevailed, and that stronger measures than a few harsh words were unnecessary. The DKS Victory, and her battlegroup will remain on station to conduct training excercises outside Airomnian territorial waters for the next two weeks before continuing on to her usual patrol station. The Dominion of Kotterdam is thankful that this situation could be resolved without undue hardship or even deaths amongst the Airomnian people and strongly cautions the Airomnian government against such reckless actions in the future.

The people of the Republic of CoreWorlds breathes a sigh of relief *Whew!* as common sense prevails!
Besides, nuke someone and be prepared for the consenquences for fallout and retaliation and other problems, like destroyed economy, dead millions and govt ruined.

We are glad that this costly and terrible war has been overted.
