Headline news: ARLF Secretary of Inteligence Stan Ryan exposed as a NAZI sympathizer

Recent tensions between the Nation of Dormie and CLF sent the CLF intel community into a frensy. In the midst of scrambled agents and covert operations was the ARLF's Intel Sec. Chancellor O'Connor had appointed Ryan during thebeginning months of his first term. Ryan has played an influencial role in almost every major political action of the CLF.

If you can remeber back when the Nation of SudeRiech discovered alleged spies in thier nation. O'Connor absolutley denied the accusations because he was reassured by Ryan that they were not Liberty Fighters.

But last week an IA agent lead a secretly authorized investigation into Ryans staff, his actions, and his past operations. The results were shocking.

The agent who is to remain un named due to security reasons made the following report.

-"Ryan is concrelty a chairman of what looks like an underground Nazi council" Investigations cleared any other LF officials from being participants in the facist organization.

-"Ryan has had alltierror motives on every single Intel operation he authorized since day one" The most shoking was the reports of when SudeRiech caught spies. Although not authorized by the actual ARLF or CLF governments, they were in fact mercenaries hired by Ryan to gather intel on the nation of SudeReich.

Other operations including the security forces placed in New Genoa during the melkor threats have had black ops supported by Ryan.

"It saddens me to come to grips with the truth, that a man I trusted with the security of the people of the CLF has been proven to be what he is. He was one of the few people who stood by me when I begun my first term, he also was there with me during most of the actions that made this great nation what it is today. But now that is all irrelevent, he is a tratorous sneak, he has betrayed my trust, the trust of my staff, of our people, and of our allies. I extend my deepest regrets and apolgies to those nations and assure you that I and the rest of my staff had no knowledge of these operations and furthermore do not know the extent of these operations nor the intel or tech stolen. We are continuing an investigation and hope to make reparations to the damage done.

I now want to address the nations of Dormie and SudeReich directly. The tensions between our great neations has been that of a rollercoaster ride, and due to recent events it is markedly the worst it has ever been. I am not trying to blame a scapegoat but because of the power Stan Ryan held, may of our interactions were grealty influenced by his input, which included the rapid call to arms by the CLF when Dormie cut relations with us. We understand that you have your reasons for what you have done, and fear that this terrible happening will only make it worse. We want to assure you that it was not in our intent to have Ryan do what he did. Moreover, the 'propoganda' as some have called it, that was issued by the CLF was headed up by Ryan, my new annalysts have conlcuded that most of the actions between our great nations have been part of Ryans eventual goal of starting an armed conflict between us. Being it his goal to have us kill millions, I want to promise that it will not happen. The CLF as well as many other nations have suffered a geart injustice and it could possibly have very negative reprecussions.

If you have managed to "smuggle" in a spy, he most likely would have been caught, tried, then shot. Unless one of your "spies" managed to sneak aboard a colonyship as we departed Earth, (Which has also proven to be null, due to the shipping manifest).

OOC: You guys dont get it, the investigations were also in Ryan's HISTORY, alot of these actions were a while ago, including when Sambizie was still on earth. secondly, of course there are no spies now, or I would have sent urgent word that there were, if i knew there were. thirdly, the spies owuld have been splinter factions, under the command of a ROUGE official, therefore not operating under the CLF or ARLF government.

This disturbing news of the compromising of your Sec Intel, Stan Ryan has been reviewed as a shock. The revelations he was a Nazi extremist, combined with your "revelations" that Intelligence Operations were conducted with the Republic of Adejaani, one of your allies, no less, has alarmed us greatly.

In light of recent events, vis a vis the attempted coup in which members of the Adejaani government and Air Force tried to use nuclear weapons to tip the scales as per the New Genoa/Melkor conflicts, is made clear.

Further intelligence as uncovered by the Bureau of Intelligence and personally by me, has led to the following findings and recommendations to my government:

1. That Stan Ryan, while employed as Secretary of Intelligence for the Armed Republic of Liberty Fighters, knowingly sent operations into the Republic of Adejaani.

2. That Stan Ryan, willingly, with the support of his Nazi sympathisers sought to topple the legally elected Adejaani government and supply Weapons of Mass Destruction (specifically nuclear devices) to the revolutionaries. It is uncertain whether or not Mr Ryan was directly involved, but it is a sure fact he had knowledge of those actions and did nothing to stop them, saying nothing about encouragement to continue.

3. That the government of Liberty Fighters be held accountable for the gross negligence at allowing a person with such beliefs and wanton willingness for destruction to obtain such a position within their government.

4. That the Republic of Adejaani formally ceases all ties, alliances, business, defense and other deals with the Armed Republic of Liberty Fighters until a full review can be made, including the exclusion of all personnel and equipment of Liberty Fighters within Adejaani territories.

It is an absolutely gross and despicable thing you did, or rather not did, in solving this situation. We consider you some of our closest friends and your man had to go and aid the revolutionaries. Had this not happened, we would not have taken these steps, but the die have been cast. Adejaani had been shook to the core by this revolution.

We trusted you. We let you in, we helped you and we gave you. Taught you to be better. We only hope these acts have not permanently sundered the relationship we had in the past. But for now, we want answers and we want appropriate steps.

Or else, despite you, being a member of APTO, would face the consequences.

We although the actions of Stan Ryan are not forgivable, we do not wish a nation who has helped ours in such vast ways as yours to feel that we did this to you. As we are a young nation in comparisson to most, Stan Ryan was there from the beginning of our intel age and therefore he was never suspected of foul play. So our lack of observation on his actions arent entirley unforgivable seeing as he had never left even a hint of treason. We suspect his actions were to break down alliances between allied nations like the ones in the APTO. He not only conducted operations against you and APTO nations, he also did so against SudeReich and Dormie, as well as Elara. We find it reasonable for your reaction but holding us 100% responsible is unreasonable. We do apologize and have yet to find evidence of what would be deemed a successful operation other than those against Dormie and SudeRiech to which they have been notified.

Subsequent to your transmission and a closed doors joint session of the Senate and Congress, along with the Executive Branch, the following findings and recommendations:

1. That despite the treasonous acts against Adejaani, it is still the right of Liberty Fighters to punish its criminals and it is expected that they do so to the full extent of the law and a punishment appropriate to the crimes.

2. That the charge that the Liberty Fighters government be held accountable for the damage inflicted by Stan Ryan and operatives vis a vis the aid of the Adejaani revolution be dropped.

3. That the charge that Liberty Fighters should be held accountable for the wanton aid of rebels and unstabilising Adejaani vis a vis the aid of the Adejaani revolution be dropped.

However, we still expect and demand a full investigation, as well as full and complete background checks on all government personnel in such positions of authority. It is not to be taken lightly, when such a close ally betrays us (even if just the rogue elements) in this fashion.

Nevertheless, Adejaani stands by its original act to temporary cease aliiances, business, defense and other deals until this "crisis" is resolved. This is a matter of trust and redeeming yourselves.

Doctor Ryan, I thought it right to alert you as soon as new information about Stan Ryan's crimes were uncovered, to conteact you. THe information concerning Adejaani confirmed the link that we suspected, the link between the Rebels who attemptede a coup in Adejaani, and thw nazi faction that Ryan lead. This may be very bad news to hear, but it is more good that bad. Seeing as we are confindent that your agencies have done investigations into your rebels we conclude that if we give you our information of Ryan's former faction, it may be helpful in assisting you with the prosecution and mand hut for any other Rebls in Adejaani. I am sendding the coded documents encrypted as we speak. We hope they are usefull for you.
On Stan Ryan's chages. Under our laws he is being charged with High treason. But under the advisement of the Chancellor, he suggest we contact the other nations whom were infiltrated by Ryan to hear what they see fit be done with him. This is due to the fact that in our morals we see that it is only fair that an international criminal be charged internationaly. There is even speak of an international tribunal to which a representative from Adejaani is requested. Further information will be sent as soon as it is recieved.

Due to the communication problesm between nations and the results of reasearch polls, the CLF has decided to exicute Stan Ryan and offer all possible documents that do not further endanger national security. We will give these documents to the nations of Adejaani, Dormie and SUde Reich, and Elara. Along with the documents, we will provide all other assistance that we are able to give.
