Special News Alert.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Natalie Green. Moments from now, President Roosevelt will make a statement to the nation. As you know by now, Speaker of the house, Taylor has began an Amendment 31 against President Roosevelt. Amendment 31 allows the people to recall all political leaders, including the President. Already Republican workers have fanned out from our captial here in Oklahoma City, to Huston, to Dallas, To Brownsville, to Kansas City and even in the territories west of Kansas City. I suppose they want to even sign up the fronteersmen for this. At the same time, Representative Polk has began an Amendment 31 against Taylor. Althought the Liberal party has less money than the republicans, they have workers out in force too.
We now take you to the Presidents House in Oklahoma City. "
The press room is filled with reporters from around the world. Many are talking in hushed voices. Then President Allan Roosevelt enters the room
Ladies and Gentlemen, The President of Low Gap.
They all stand.
Please be seated.
Action has been taken by the Republicans to remove me from office using an amendment 31 proceedure.
But I think a reminder of your nation should be brought to rememberance.
First, in our country, homelessness is unknown. Thanks to our taxation of the Rich, everyone has a home. It is the law. A law passed by my term. Second, there is no hunger in Low Gap. None at all. Meals are free at food centers and groceries are at the cheepest prices in the world.
Our Schools are the tops on the planet Earth. Our children score the highest marks of any nation. Fourth, there is free Health Care. Anyone can get any type of operation. None shall go with-out. Fifth, college education and trade schools are free to our citizens. We have the highest educated population in the world. Sixth, our electrical prices are the cheepest on the planet. Our Hydroelectral plants supply enought electricity that nations beyond our borders have bought into our system. Seventh, our roads are all paved. Even in the North West Kansas Territories. We have improved on the Old United States of America's Interstate system and have extended it throughout Low Gap. Eighth, our crime is unknown. We have more police on the streets than any nation.
All of this is due to taxes. If We did not tax at a high level, none of this would be possiable. But with our taxes, we have a superior nation, not just in military might, but in social welfare. Lets see if the Republiks have anything better.
Nay, they do not. The Republiks would take away free meals in the schools, they would force college students to pay for their tutition and room and board, they would abolish our job training programs and reduce the number of police in the name of fiscal stability. The Republiks would reduce our surface road repairs. The republiks would cut funding to schools. The Republiks would Force our citizens to pay for all medical care. The Republiks would force higher prices on us.The Republiks would force an end to free housing and free meals for our dis-advantaged citizens....
Can we afford to allow the Republiks to continue their efforts to Recall me?
I ask you citizens, to not sign the Amendment 31 recall. Our way of life is at stake. We must tell Representative Taylor NO.
Thank you and God Bless Low Gap
President Roosevelt left the room with-out taking questions.
" That was President Roosevelt. We have word that Speaker Taylor will be making a counter speech soon. Stay tuned"
