The President of the Commonwealth, under the recommendation of Science and Technology minister Pedro Pereira, is making the Boa Vista made Baixa-class fighter jets available for sale. The specs for the aircraft is listed below.
Baixa- class fighters
Engine- 2 Ingenheiro General (General Engineering) Max 1 afterburning thrust turbofans
Thrust- 15,520kg/34,170lb
Armament- One 27mm (1.05in) cannon, Four missiles at side weapon bays, six weapons at ventral weapon bay. (Missiles not provided)
Speed- Maximum Mach 3. Normal cruising speed Mach 2.4
Description- Aircraft is built with Titanium and other lightweight materials. Variable Geometry (Swing-Wing) wings. Retractable canard wings. Thrust vectoring. 4 countermeasures. Stealth ability. Polymer projector screen enables invisibility. Engine rests on state-of-the-art sound absorbant pad that reduces noice by 50%. Maintenance cost low and down-time short. Aircraft can be started and ready for flight in 50 seconds.
The aircraft will be on sale for 10 million dollars each.
