Formation of Sozialdarwinismers
As the ship escaped the catapult orbit of Jupiter, the people on board gazed at the planet of Earth, saying Tschuess to their Attican brethren. After about 2 weeks, they had reached near Pluto's orbit, when a massive amount of turbulence was hit. Everything warped in and out of proportion, and then, the computer had no idea where they were. They looked out the window, and were heading at impact speeds towards a planet. They turned on full retroburners, and landed on the planet as standard procedure.
OOC: No one interfere please. You can comment but not RP.
As the ship landed, the hatch opened. 3 of the men walked out, armed with Attican G-36's.
"Seems to be OK... the ship's instruments say that the planet is very similar to Earth in most respects."
He then looks up.
"Except there are two suns."
The planet was an earth-line planet, but part of a binary star system. Looking around, they had apparently landed in a forest, with very odd plant life. Animal life was mainly small, rodent like. The people of the ship began building a village to live from.
--Time accelerated about 20 yrs--
A map of the region they had landed in had finally been drawn up. It was an island the size of Greenland. The population had reached about 1200, in several settlements. The first of the people would attempt to build seacraft to spread. They were just departing now...
--Time accelerated 200 yrs--
A continent was discovered 199 yrs earlier. Humans had already spread across this landmass.
--Time accelerated 2000 yrs--
By this time, humans had conquered this new planet. But were they still human? Their overall body physique was 2x as strong as what they would consider a 'standard Homo sapiens', and the brain capacity was nearly 1.5x. Otherwise, they looked standard. Several 'cities', or settlements containing more than 100 ppl, were established around the world. Communication between them was severed when the ice caps of the planet began melting, and then froze again.
--Time accelerated 20,000 yrs--
By this time, 'humans' were at the relative technology level the Roman's were at.
Acceleration 4000yrs
Technology, by this time, had reached what would be considered 2050. The major religion was Attichism, which was the belief that mankind came from another planet, and there was strong evidence to support this belief.
There is only one faction on the planet, as everyone is a firm beleiver in Attichism. In fact, from the ships navigation charts, they plan on attempting to send a probe to reestablish contact at some point. Unfortunately, the ships sensors, albeit warped from thousands of years, also say something of a kind of temporal warp, pushing them back in time along the lines of 25,000yrs...
The databases, all written in Archaic Attikan, were very old, and were having all information downloaded to 'modern' computers.
"Herr Sturmkoppf."
"Ya?"
"We have deciphered another datablock, politics at the time of the ships departure.'
"Play it."

"That is where we get data corruption."
"Mein Gott, that is archaic."
"Yes, it is, but we can get the basic concepts from it."
"Very well, carry on. How goes the project to escape the temporal warp?"
"Scientists believe the temperal warp can be disrupted by firing a short blast of ions at one of the stars. The solar flare created should disrupt the temporal warp, causing it to rip a hole in space/time. Hopefuly that will open up the solar systems veil from us."
"Fire it in 10 minutes."
"Yawohl."
--10 minutes later--
The ionic blast heads towards the star, called Hephestaus, and on impact, the star changed color, going from it's usual bright red, to a dark blue. A solar flare was emitted that passed over the planets artifical magnetic field. All of a sudden, a bright light was emitted over all of visible space at once, and the sky was clear... thousands of stars were visible...

I like the plot. Makes for a good read.
5 years later -
"Prepare to launch the probe."
FIRE
The probe takes off, hoping to reach 'Earth' in 200 years.
