Description:
The essential capacities of MBT-1 are the following: a very great effectiveness in the duel against all the adversary armoured tanks in day or night (any time) at ranges of more than 3000 meters. It includes a gun of with an automatic loading system which make it possible to quickly select the type of ammunition, capable of firing when the tank be moving and which improve appreciably the rate of fire of up to 12 shots/minute. The long-range fire control system stabilizes the sight, and the gun remain permanently pointed at the target selected. There are two sights: one for the commander of the tank and the other for the operator. The turret can acquire the target with gyrostabilisers, and a video recopy of the images allows sharing of information between the two.

Unequalled mobility is obtained by the synergy between the motor, the kinematic chain, and the hydropneumatic suspension. A very balanced general protection is obtained not only by modular shieldings but also by compactness and thus low visibility, which combined with the very great agility of the tank makes it a difficult target to hit. Centralized management is performed on a large number of parameters of a tactical or logistic nature: the digitalization of the data forward by a bus and are exploited inside the tank which optimizes the entirety of its functions. Also outside, via the radio operator station, it is possible to better employ the whole of the tanks engaged in an operation in particular by the use of the system of control and command installed on board.

Being able to resist the most severe stresses of combat of high intensity and to attack the most hardened targets, it is a powerful tool able to assume all the missions reserved for the units of the armoured forces whatever the environment, the type and the form of engagement (traditional, chemical or nuclear, high average or low intensity). The principal armament is a gun of 120 mm with a smooth bore and a length of 52 calibers, drawing all types of ammunition with combustible casings with standard NATO or FF&L dimensions. A total of 40 shells can be embarked, including 22 in automatic loading. The secondary armament is one 13mm mm coaxial machine-gun and one 13mmAA machine-gun in the superstructure.

MBT-1 is fitted with Galix combat vehicle protection system, developed by FF&L. Nine launch tubes for the 80mm grenades are fitted on either side of the turret roof. The Galix system can launch smoke or anti-personnel grenades or infrared decoys.

FF&L has developed the KBCM defensive aids suite which is fitted to the MBT-1. KBCM includes laser warner, missile warner, infrared jammer and the Galix system and can be integrated with the Finders battle management system.

The MBT-1 is fitted with the FINDERS (Fast Information, Navigation, Decision and Reporting System) battlefield management system, developed by FF&L. FINDERS includes a colour map display which shows the positions of the host tank, allied and hostile forces and designated targets and can be used for route and mission planning.

Just to be pikcy but there is a small problem with your SA-01 pistol: 9.1x24mm is a big long round and like 9x23mm Win will require a large framed pistol, such as something intended for a .45 round (lots of 9x23mm pistols use the Colt 1911 pattern), while the picture would still work, it would be rahter difficult to rechamber for small sized pistol rounds like 9x19 and 9x18mm.

Of course we wonder about your rifle rounds and why you use them when our 6.25x43mm round has been demonstrated as the best ;)

Ok i'll stop being annoying now.

Just to be pikcy but there is a small problem with your SA-01 pistol: 9.1x24mm is a big long round and like 9x23mm Win will require a large framed pistol, such as something intended for a .45 round (lots of 9x23mm pistols use the Colt 1911 pattern), while the picture would still work, it would be rahter difficult to rechamber for small sized pistol rounds like 9x19 and 9x18mm.
yes, but not impossible. It's always possible to resize for a smaller round; the Finns have assault rifles that can be chambered for 7.62mm or 5.56mm depending on what export clients prefer.

Of course we wonder about your rifle rounds and why you use them when our 6.25x43mm round has been demonstrated as the best ;)

not true.If you want to be picky, the British 6.8mm round used in the EM-2 prototype was near the mathematical ideal, however ;)

Ok i'll stop being annoying now.
thank you.

Actually the 6.25x43 british came abit later on following a series of experiments that indicated that the .280/7mm british round from the EM-2 and the FN expermental rifle while good could be improved on, of course the americans shafted all those experiements (and thier own 6mm SAW round) with thier insistance on thier own half assed rounds.

Our researchers think that the machine-shotgun concept is.... unusual.

It's very interesting but we fail to see any practical use in a battlefield.

Perharps you could enlighten us?

Using high powered 3 1/2 in. shotshells and the relatively long barrel, it cna devastate infantry at a respectable distance...it puts up a reall wall of steel.Primairily a defensive weapon, and admitedly it dosn't have the range and versatility of a conventionnal HMG such as our MG-3, but it can prove highly useful in urban combat, for instance.

It's always possible to resize for a smaller round; the Finns have assault rifles that can be chambered for 7.62mm or 5.56mm depending on what export clients prefer.
Ehhm, comparing rifles and pistols doesn't really work in this context. The overall length of the action in an assault rifle is far greater than that in a pistol. Additionally, the size of the magazine in an AR isn't as strictly limited as in a pistol. Theoretically, the magazine well on an RK-95 (the weapon discussed here, and shown in the picture of the AR-01 in the catalogue) might be well over 10cm in length. Obviously, the action would be unable to handle the respectively longer cartridges.

The overall length of the 5.56x45mm NATO and the 7.62x39mm Soviet M43 are almost the same. The 6mm shorter case of the 7.62 round is offset by the slightly longer bullet (that is, it stick slightly longer out of the case, no matter the actual length of the bullet). Since the bolt and barrel have to be changed anyway to accomodate for the 5.56x45mm, the only part of the RK-95s frame which might be unable to cope is the ejection port, which is really, really long. So no problems at all.

However, the frame of the M92 Beretta (and similar guns, that one you've got in the picture might be a Taurus or some other clone for all I knowSilly me, it says Taurus on the side of the gun...) strictly limits the size of the magazine, the size of the bolt, the amount the slide can go back, and whatever else. Additionally, the case length difference between 9x19 and 9x24 is +26%, which is quite a lot more than the +15% from 7.62x39 to 5.56x45.

The catalogue was quite entertaining, though, going through it and identifying all the gear in the pictures. Too bad that only lasted, what, 15 seconds.

4000x FF&L standard (7.65x58mm) box of 1,000 hollow point $275 each = $1,100,000
2000x FF&L armour-piercing rocket grenade (88mm diameter) box of 100 $500 each = $1,000,000
500x FF&L standard hand grenade box of 100 $200 each = $100,000

Excuse me, but your AM-02 rifle is faulty.

No rifle can fire both 7.62, 5.56 and 5.8 in the same barrel. Sorry.we can manufacture a slightly smaller barrel and fill up the space with cast [cheap metal name here] ;) the action remains the same, the inside of the breech block and the barrel are resized at the factory for users desirous of a smaller round.

[OOC: ah, but if you do a quick comparison you'll see that the actual size of the handgun is bigger than the RL Taurus. It has it's magzine well, etc, sized for the bigger round; admittedly it might be a big modification to make it smaller, but it could be doene at the factory level, no?
