Klonor claims abandoned star system
The star system of Tau Ceti, 11.9 light-years from Sol, was claimed by the nation of Marathon. However, Marathon has been deleted (a long time ago). The system lays vacant, abandoned by its inhabitants. The Klonor Empire is officially claiming this system for its own. We will be transporting citizens there within the next NS year.
OOC: If anybody has claimed this system since Marathons deletion please say so. I will acknowledge it and not set foot in the system. I will, however, require some proof that you claimed it.

The Federation of Torontonias has no claim on this system, but would like to inquire what sort of FLT travel system you use, Our ships currently operate on Slipstream Drives, but we are always looknig for faster, more efficent methods of travel.

We use two types of FTL tech. Our main type uses what we call "Sub-Space". Using a Sub-Space generator you enter Sub-Space and are accelerated to the speeds of 1 light-year per minute. Sub-Space jumps are capable from and to any point within a star system, but due to the weakness of Sub-Space between systems it is quite difficult to perform inter-system jumps. To make perform these we use Sub-Space Nodes, certain points in space where Sub-Space is strengthened. There we can make Sub-Space jumps between nodes in different systems.
However, Sub-Space Nodes don't exist in every system, and thus our main FTL system is not always possible. In these cases we use a Gravity/Time Ship drive to travel. The use of this system only accelerates us to 1 light-year per hour (opposed to the one light-year per minute of Sub-Space) but it is possible to use it between any system, regardless of the existence of nodes in that particular system.
You may continue to patrol the system. We have had no trouble with Arcel in the past and see no reason to force you out.

Actually, forget the colonisation. With my recent wars and revolutions I can barely handle my current systems.
Right now I'm just claiming Tau Ceti and will probably start up few mining things or other businesses.

Klonor if you need help there most likly there will always be a patrol a light year away or so, if you contact them they can help you out.
Okay, I have one of the best space fleets in NS. I belong to the largest and most powerful Alliance in all of NS. My Allies number in the dozens and range from Aug. nations to people all the way back from December. Why do people suddenly think I need protection?

Im not saying that, im just saying incase that your people there get attacked for some reason and none of your ships are near by that most likly one of my patrols can help you.

Sure. You just agree to the constitution and you're in. But, you have to RP well. Now, from what I've seen (and that's just this thread) you RP just fine, but everybody here is yelling that you can't and are talking about an NS wide IGNORE. Remember, you start doing what they all say you do and you're out (sorry, but enough people already have the wrong idea about the GA)
And I've decided not to colonise Tau Ceti (I said it a few posts ago), just claim it and maybe move in a few mining companies or something.
