Defarian forces raided a Ebony Defenders camp. A force of 175 regulars as well as 20 marines attacked a jungle base camp in the Ebony Islands. They were backed by 2 Cobra helocopters which gave significant damages to the facilities and armaments. The regulars surrounded the Defenders on 3 sides with the Marines one half away on the fourth side. Some Defenders attempted to escape and were intercepted by the marines and their claymore mines, it appears that they all are dead but no confirmation can be made at this time. Other Defenders tried to fight their way out but the Defarians did not give. 2 Soldiers died in the raid and 1 was injured, all when they attempted to detonate a C4 charge on the Defenders radio tower, but it exploded too soon, destroying the tower but killing the troops.

All 275 soldiers from our camp were killed in a valiant fight. The Ebony Defenders retaliate with a RPG attack on the hotel in which several Defarian observers are being lodged. 4 men fired 8 RPG rounds at the Protectorate Hotel, a semi-luxury Hotel built in the 1960s and decorated accordingly, although it is very clean and feels modern. Also, 2 men fired 14 mortar shells at the area surrounding the hotel in capital city. At the time of these attacks there also was a shooting in The Panther, a popular night club, where 4 Ebony Islander waitstaff were killed in addition to the Defarian officer killed.

Warlordia didn't vote. We did however have business with the Ebony Islands (for which Defarian got paid. Thanks for the T-62's by the way).
We have an economic interest in this conflict, that is all.

You'll notice that some of the AK-47's found in Islandish hands are of Warlordian manufacture. Make what roleplaying you want of that. :)

It has come to our attention that Warlordia has supplied the Ebony Defenders with munitions and support. I must ask this to stop. Do you realize that you are not supporting a group of freedom fighters who engage their enemy for the good of their nation, but a terrorist organization who kill innocent people that have commited but one offense, attempting to live their life in a war torn state. This group does not express the will of the Ebony Islanders, for we have the support of the Ebony Islands Council of Religions, Ebony Democracy now,Ebony League of Trade Unions, Radio Free Ebony Islands, as well as 2 dozen other groups of Ebony Islanders. Please end your support of the Ebony Defenders, for the good of Ebony Islanders everywhere.
