This plane has been engineered to work alongside the tu-160 and other bombers. It also features stealth capabilities and
radar jamming devices



This plane was developed as a partner to the tu-160 the FF-15 was modeled after the b-1 lancer and using the tu-160 weapons bay. This craft uses specail anti-radar coating and several jammers to
to appear as only a small dot on the worlds most advanced radar. This plane idea was put out several times but canceled because of the low tech of the times being.
Until Dr. Fox found to sponsers and formed Firefox Aviation that this plane was put into the spotlight.

the Zashitnik DB made DM-44TV engines use suction relief doors on the moving parts of the engine nozzles to eliminate pulsing in the exhaust gases. The engine consists of seven modules, six of them replaceable. The first is an inlet guide vane module, with the others being the five-stage low pressure compressor, the mixer case, the afterburner, the exhaust nozzle, front and rear gearboxes, and a base module with the 10-stage high pressure compressor and combustion chamber, first stage nozzle vanes, high and low pressure turbines (both two stage) and rear bearing. The engine has a mass flow of 150 kg per second and an inlet diameter of 102 cm. The DM-44TV features an integral heat exchanger using fan bypass air to cool air drawn from the compressor which in turn cools the high- and low-pressure turbines. A turbine overspend protection system is fitted, along with an exhaust temperature limiter. Full authority digital engine controls
are fitted, with a data recording system.

Its because the film got the name worng, when it was made the western public were by and large unaware of even the MiG 29 so the makers of the film decided to make a futurisitc sounding name for it.(maybe it had that name in the book? no idea on that one, of course any serious miltech buff would know about the RL MiG31 in the 80s).


Of course in the Film the Firefow has a russian neural link control system...

Form your own company, make up a designation based of the, for example one of Haaregradia's biggest aircraft producers Klimov Design Bureau produce aircraft designated Kli-XX. They licence production of MAPO/MiG(MiG and Ka) designs, Tupolov and Antonov designs.
