BIDS FOR NEW BOMBER AIRCRAFT
The Protectorate of Grotia is opening tenders on a replacement bomber for the 200 B-47 strategic bombers currently in its inventory. The B-47 will be requiring upgrades, so they can be transferred to coastal patrol/SAR aircraft.
Needs:
Global reach (preferably round the world without refuelling)
Convential bombload similar to B-52 or better.
Mach 1 or better.
Capable of self defence (through missles, guns, etc.)
Bidding will be open until Monday, October 13 (Grotian Thanksgiving Day), with contract awarded shortly thereafter.

We will take the job... starting the bid off at 1 billion.
You should proboly add supercruising to the list of needs.

You're going to make 200 planes for $1 billion? Grotia, I might have something that fits these parameters at my naval store thread. Check it out, its the last aircraft in the aviation section.

Hey wait, shouldn't you see a list of competitors and prototypes BEFORE you award a contract?
We'll get to work right away... sounds like just a souped up B-1B :)
We're thinking of just adding Pulse-Det/jet Hybrid engines to the design and giving that to you :)

OOC:
Global reach? That plane's either going to have a huge fuel tank or a new variant of liquid hydrocarbon fuel...

OOC:
$750 million ∙ 100 ≠ $7.5 billion
$750 million ∙ 100 = $75 billion
