The President of The Commonwealth of Boa Vista, Antonio Carmona, is reelected today by a wide margin. The people of the country, through an extremely free and clear election, elected the leader back in office with an astonishing 70% of the vote. The opposition candidate, Henrique Caetano of the Boa Vista Democratic Empowerment Alliance, won only 20% of the vote. The remaining 10% of votes were scattered among a wide field of candidates in which only a few received more than 1% of the votes.
The President will be sworn in within 30 days.
