Today, two unmarked light transport vessels slammed themselves into two Soul Rend freigters, completely destroying the vessels, and surrounding escorts. The craft appeared to have been loaded with antimatter. More on this as it develops

(OOC: Soul Rend and I have worked this out via speaking (we're RL friends) and if you plan to join this RP, you may not figure out who did this, you may not change the outcome, and you may not make any massive military presence, and BTW this takes place in the Andromeda galaxy, so you n00bs stay out.)

The Government of Soul Rend is quite horified by these terrorist attacks, and wishes to get to the bottom of this quickly. We will be dispatching four fighterdraft to investigate the surounding area, patrolling for whatever may have sent these craft.

LRR will gladly send a force of 20 Vengance II class patrol frigates to help keep the trade lanes open. We will even send one of our nomadic multitudes if need be.

The four fighters launched by Soul Rend detected a flicker on their sensors, and diverted course to invfestigate. The fighters sped towards this anomaly, when it opned fire, its main cannons raking the fighters' hulls.

(OOC: It is an Omega-X destoyer used by Blademasterian revolutionaries, who are attempting to make others go to war against Blademasters, but are too stupid to put Blademasters markings on their ships.)

OCC: I am a space nation, am I not? I mean, if anything I am more advanced than you, as I was started on May 9 and you on Jun 2. But I will have to find a jump node, as the distance involved would kill a frigate's h-drives.

The fighters encounter the weapons fire, and three of them are shreeded immidiately. the other one escapes the weapons fire, and burns for the homeplanet at full thrust.

The unmarke ship begins to accfelerate after the fighter, shunting all of its power to the engines, it burns towards the planet at an alrming rate.

The Ship comes in range of the planet, and begins to transmit the following message: "You have 30 minutes to pay us $10 TRillion dollars, if you pay, we will leave you alone, if you refuse, your planet will be destroyed... 30 minutes, the timer is ticking"

The LRR frigate, safely hidden, silently steals away to a more convenient hiding spot, such as in a crater on the planet's moon.

(OOC: again, Soul R cannot get on... he is too lazy to fix his computer, so I'm posting for him what he told me to)

Numerous ships begin launching from the planet, ten minutes into the timer, everything from FTL-capable freighters to hand-mader buckets of bolts. twenty minutes later, the government still has not responded, so the massive ship begins to lumberforward at an alarming rate. Thirty seconds later, it enters the atmosphere, and detonates, sending a shower of magnetically contained pods raining down on the planet, abnd the millions of inhabitants awaiting their doom. the pods impact, and the magnetic fields lose containment, causing the antimatter held inside to react with the nearby matter. within seconds, the planet and nearby space is entirely deviod of life.

A neaby Blademasterian warship picks up the explosion on sensors, and moves to investigate. It arrives, only to find a planet, totally destroyed, and hundreds of small craft floting in space.

Captain of War Vessel: "All unidentified ships, do you require assistance?"

From a larger, sleeker looking ship: "Unidentified vessel, our planet has been destroyed, and assistance you can render would be greatly appreciated."

Blademasterian Captain: "We will call inr einforcements to secure the area, and take your ships aboard."

BNN Special Report:
A few days ago, a Blademasterian war ship patrolling the outer edges of our territory stumbled apon a massive explosion. It seemed that someone, or something had blown up a planet, and only a few hundre million had managed to escape their doom. Now, we have confirmed that Baldemasterian rebels, calling themselves "The Outcasts" rammed a ship full of antimatter into the planet. The Government has formally apologized to the victims, and offered them a chance to live within our protected borders, on an uninhabied planet. This has been Ted Kerensky, for BNN News.
