LRR drafts the following treaty to deal with space territorial rights:
The Lunatic Retard Robots Space Territorial Treaty
1. Individual worlds/systems may be claimed by nations, as well as a 1ly exclusive mining radius around said world, or the star of said system.
2. Trade between nations/worlds/systems at peace with eachother may be conducted freely and without restriction, except where such national ordinances and mining rights restrictions may apply.
3. The Sol System may not be claimed by any one nation, and the rings of saturn, Oort cloud, and other resource deposits within 1ly of earth are public.
4. No one nation may claim space outside of their 1ly mining exclusion zone, as this very often restricts trade and/or diplomacy between nations at peace.
5. (If you so choose) LRR ships/fleets may be conducted freely throughout the galaxy, as long as they do not violate said mining restrictions, commit acts of war or piracy, or violate any laws restricting trade made by any nation who may be concerned.
