Confirmed, though 100 is a bit much since you already have 100 Mi-8's....

I suggest the F-32 (cheap), TA-13 (VERY cheap) and MAH-12 Helicopter (very agile with same payload as AH-64)

Planes sent.

By ground attack, are you talking Anti tank like the A-10 Thunderbolt 2, or are you talking Counter Insurgency like the A1D Skyraider?

If you wish to get your Mi8s upgraded i can upgrade them to Mi17CF1 Ultra Hip standard for $3.5million per unit.

Well i see you have fufilled your light fighter needs (and i was going to offer you a FC1/JF17 version)

As for ground attack, perhaps an upgraded harrier might fit your needs?

CFF-9G Harrier (GR11a)

Crew: 1
Length: 14.12m
Height: 3.55m
Width/wingspan: 9.25m

Engines:
1 CFPW T4022 Alcohol vapour turbine or 1 RR Pegasus 107

Performance:
Max Speed: 662mph
Max range: 1667km
Service ceiling: 15,000m

Weapons
1 G74 25mm gatling gun with 400 rounds of ammo mounted in RHS pod.

7 hard points with max rating of 9000lb plus.
Sample configurations:
Air to air: 4 medium sized AAMs (i.e. AMRAAM, MICA, etc) or 2 medium sized and 4 small sized (Sidewinder, ASRAAM, etc).
Air to ground: wide range of stores including stand off weapons such as storm shadow and a wide range of precision guided bombs and missiles including Paveway 4E and brimstone.

Systems:
Radar: multimode CFES MK4007R radar and target processing system
Other sensors:
CFES MK5006 Multi mode IR/EO sensor pod mounted in the LHS pod. The pod offers laser targeting of ground targets and imaging for the guidance of and targeting of weapons (offers up to 45x magnification of targets). Also has an air surveillance (IRST) mode offering detection and tracking of up to 250 targets out to 150km.
Navigation: Full digital open standard GPS system, high accuracy INS.
Counter measures: duel mode IR/laser dazzler system, active ECM, chaff flare dispensers, automatic threat detection and countering system.
All systems are integrated with a Combat Sphere MK12D data link allow full interlinking with remote sensors and platforms and automatic threat/ target detection and prioritisation.

Based on the successful GR9 upgrade of the Harrier the CFF-9G takes it further. Based on the US AV-8B radar equipped variant the CFF-9G allows the harrier to operate in an air defence mode while still retaining its formidable ground attack abilities.
The addition of an all new radar and optical sensing system allows the harrier to operate under all conditions and the new all glass cockpit (featuring 5 MFDs plus a new wide angle HUD) with VHTS (voice hands throttle stick) control system and helmet mounted cueing and sighting device make life much easier for the pilot. In it’s basic state the GR11 is compatible with a wide range of western weapons with Air to air missiles including, AMRAAM, AIM9X, ASRAAM, MICA, Meteor and others offering true BVR and dog fighting capability, something lost with the demise of the Sea harrier from service. The open weapons handling system allows additional modules to be substituted in order to allow soviet and other weapons to be used.

The CFF-9G is fully capable of operating from both land sites and carriers, offering a true multi-role VTOL platform at a mere fraction of the cost of the F35 JSF. A twin seater trainer with all the operational features of the CFF-9G is available as the T14A.

Cost:
GR11: $23million
T14A: $25million

I can also provide training personell and simulator equipment.

Good, needed to empty a bit my stock of modern tech weaponry anyway.
And since you're a new modern-tech nation - I'll just give you what I don't really use any longer...

The Grand Duchy donates:

1.000.000(one million) units of SIG SG 550 Assault Rifles, patented by the VerTech.
http://world.guns.ru/assault/sig550_2.jpg

500.000(five hundred thousand) units of SIG SG 551-LB Assault Rifles(shortened tactical version of the SG 550), patented by the VerTech.
http://world.guns.ru/assault/sig551.jpg

Here is the appropriate thread with all the specs:
http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28754&start=0
The pics don't work :?

Then:

100(one hundred) units of Mi-35 Attack Helicopters.
http://www.aeroworldnet.com/images/MAKGAL/im2/MI35M.JPG
(Just make a Google search for the stats, too lazy to post them...)

50(fifty) units of Ka-50 Attack Helicopters.
http://www.elleemmeshop.com/model1/elicotteri/031.jpg
(Same thing.)

And that is all for now - otherwise, you will be ruined on maintenance, due to the fact that others might sell/donate a bit more...

I'll see you again when you're bigger

Have fun!

we thank the nation of tarasovka for the donation! :D , how much your FC-1's cost Crookfur? i would be also interested in the mi-17 upgrade.
Crookfur
08-10-2003, 20:59
The Crookfur Varient of the FC1/JF17 (the pakistani ID number is slightly cooler in my view *shrug*) is likely goign to come in at around $17-18million , a bit more than the projected export rpice of the FC-1 at $15million but you do get a better Crookfur cockpit and electronics systems.

As for the Mi17 upgrade, it is quite far reaching as it uses alcohol engines (and thus not to everyone's tastes but it does make it cheaper to run). anyway stats on it:

MI17CF Ultra Hip.

Crew: 3 (2 pilots and 1 flight engineer/crew chief)
Rotor Diameter: 21.3m
Length: 25.4m (inc. rotor)
Height: 5.7m
Weight:
Max takeoff: 14,000kg
Normal takeoff: 12,000kg
Empty: 7900kg
Engines: 2x CFPW TH297 alcohol turbines
Max speed: 270kph
Cruising speed: 260kph
Range: 535km
Load: 30troops (combat transport)
Weapons:
Nose: mounting for 1 machine gun with remote control to co pilot’s position
Removable pylons: up to 6 hard points for rocket pods, 2 ATGMs, bombs and cannon pods.
2 Door machine gun mountings (front and rear)
Equipment:
Full night flight cockpits, Digital coms links, GPS and Internal navigation system linked to autopilot, terrain avoidance radar, FLIR and rescue hoist.
Survivability: Chaff/flare dispensers, Threat warning receiver, Smoke dischargers, Kevlar/titanium armour for crew, main cabin and engines.

As with the Mi24CF series the Mi17CF is an upgrade to the venerable Russian MI8/Mi17 Hip assault transport helicopter. The upgrades are of a similar theme to those on the Mi24 but without much in the way of weaponry upgrades which were deemed unnecessary for a transport helicopter. The Upgraded Ultra Hip is equally at home providing transport and support on the battlefield, conducting counter insurgency operations or providing a CSAR option.

Cost:
New: $6million
Upgrade package: $3million (From Mi17, from Mi8 $3.5million)
Engines: $1.2million
08-10-2003, 21:03
we would like 100 FC-1s, thats about it. [for 17 mil each]
Crookfur
08-10-2003, 21:11
Sounds good, it'll take me a while to get exact stats sorted but a breif overview of the features:

As FC-1 but with VTS control (voice throttle stick), full glass cockpit (3-5 MFDs, plus wide angle HUD), helmet mounted sight and cueing system.
Full fly by light controls (as fly by wire but with fibre optics), A full Crookfur combat electronics featuring MK4005R radar, MK5002 targeting/imaging system and MK12D datalink (combines all systems plus multi mode com and high capcity remote data sharing).
A Crookfur Self defence counter emasures pod will be included.

I should have them in production by tomorrow (and yes it can be doen that fast, i've been messing with the FC-1 for a while and these are all tried and tested systems).
