This is a section for those who want part of our systems, but would rather upgrade something they have or use these in a new design than purchase our own vehicles. When you are upgrading units, we may charge additional for installation if it is a serious undertaking such as putting 16" guns into an existing vessel, but outside of that, standard rules apply.

The first page here will have the general export equipment, while the second will have our advanced equipment.

Rules and purchasing information can be found at the Aircraft Section (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=278767)

The largest caliber gun ever designed by CSJMI, and easily one of the most powerful in existence. With very high power, good range, and a large payload, this weapon can dish out some serious damge. It addresses many of the deficiencies of the famous 18.1" guns on the Yamato, with a much better shell design and better fire control. Newer equipment has also allowed it to retain a decent rate of fire. It does, however, have a slightly shorter range than the smaller 16" guns.
As with all large weapons, we also have coastal batteries for this.
Cost: $230 million, $300 million (coastal battery)

A method of improving firepower that’s generally neglected by many other nations. Instead of using larger caliber guns that provide a rather modest performance compared to the increased weight, Clan Smoke Jaguar has developed a new long-barreled 16” rifle, combined with a new ammunition design, which boasts notable increases in range, accuracy, and penetration without the excessive weight. For shore bombardment, the weapon can outrange most large-caliber naval guns, allowing it to strike at targets further inland, and thus provide greater support. In addition to standard HC rounds, there are submunition (DPICM) rounds and an extended range round that can deliver relatively accurate firepower out to 220 km with a payload of 130 kg, which is 15 times that of a 5” ERGM round. A guided version of the ER round is also available. In a gunnery duel, this weapon's APC round can penetrate the armor of any known battleship at ranges of over 20 km, and can turn an Iowa into scrap at well over 30. It should be noted that figures listed for penetration are the Effective Limit, which is defined as the range at which the round will completely penetrate the armor and remain intact so the explosive filler can detonate inside the ship. At longer ranges, the round may still cause significant damage, but will likely either fail to penetrate completely or fail do detonate upon penetration.
We also now ship the guns to be used as coastal artillery (http://www.rt-kilta.net//galleria1/galleria/kuivasaa/kuivasaa.jpg), where they have the benefit of a relatively low profile and excellent protection. Combine that with the long range rounds available and you have an excellent system for engaging surface vessels inshore, and any landing troops that might appear. Turrets operate as they do on ships, with only the armored face being raised above ground. With the expceptional armor provided, these turrets can withstand direct cruise missile strikes as well as most other forms of bombardment. Only APC projectiles and penetrating bombs like the GBU-28 stand much of a chance at eliminating these. The package includes full installation, including fire control systems. You merely need to tell us where to place the turret.
Cost: $150 million, $200 million (coastal battery)

Platforms: Hiragi Class CA (3 turrets)
A medium-sized 8” rifle primarily for use on cruisers, or possibly as a secondary weapon for large battleships. It boasts a high rate of fire for a weapon of its size, as well as decent range. The weapon fires four types of shells. The largest is a “heavy” round for engaging hard targets, including bunkers and armored warships, and is the source of the high penetration values. The other rounds include a standard HC (aka explosive) round, and a DPICM round loaded with submunitions. The final type is a lighter round which uses a combination of a sleek “arrow” design and a base bleed feature to grant an impressive range of over 100 km. The weapon is available in three turret types. The primary is for heavy bombardment vessels, and packs 3 guns into a well armored turret. The second type is a heavy quad turret for use on battlecruisers and battleships in place of larger caliber weapons. There is also a lighter, relatively unarmored turret that can be used on destroyers and cruisers. It is, however, too powerful for frigates and many smaller destroyers, and is not recommended for any vessel under 8000 tons.
Coastal artillery versions are also available.
Cost: $80 million (quad), $55 million (triple), $14 million (single), $120 million (quad coastal battery), $80 million (triple coastal battery)

An extremely effective gun for naval bombardment, which boasts exceptional range and accuracy. The gun fires three different kinds of projectiles, with the largest being nearly 2.25 meters in length and possessing a range of over 180 km (better than many cruise missiles). In addition to the larger two variants being guided projectiles, these rounds also use submunitions similar to those of the army’s DPICM artillery rounds. The CEP for the guided rounds is an impressive 20-50m, with effectiveness further improved by the dispersal pattern of the submunitions, which ensures a high probability for first-round hits.
Cost: $11 million

Ammunition: 600 rounds per gun (ERGM takes up four times the space of a standard round).
Platforms: Toryu Class BB (8 twin turrets), Carrack Class CG (1), Sparrowhawk Class DDG (1)
An improved variant of the standard 5”/54 cal gun that supports the long-range ERGM round. A major selling point is that, with a retrofit kit, this weapon can be placed in existing 5”/54 mounts, and use their fire control as well, allowing any ship with 5”/54 cal guns to be upgraded with this weapon. Like the larger 155mm gun, this weapon fires three main types of rounds. The largest is over 1.5 meters long, has a CEP of 10-20m, and carries 72 submunitions out to a range of 116 km. The second largest is the HE-ICM round, which carries 49 submunitions out to 38 km, but is unguided. The final is conventional ammunition, which includes the numerous different rounds fired by the 5”/54 cal gun.
Cost: $7 million (single), $20 million (twin)

5”/54 cal Mk.2 Naval Gun (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ship/systems/images/gun-cg-shiloh.jpg)

20mm/76 cal Phalanx CIWS (http://www.warships1.com/Weapons/WNUS_Phalanx_Carl_Vinson_pic.jpg)
Mount: Single fully automated turret
Crew: 3
Turret Weight: 6.12 tons
Range: 5.5 km max, 1.5 km effective
Rate of Fire: 3000-4500 rpm (selectable)
Ammunition Load: 1550 rounds per magazine (takes 2 men 5 minutes to change magazine)
This is a small, fully automated weapon designed to provide point (last-ditch) defense against incoming missiles. The gun itself is an M61 vulcan, the same weapon used on numerous aircraft and some air defense systems, and is aimed by an attached radar. The low space and crew requirements make this a popular weapon, as it can easily be fitted on most vessels. However, the system has some shortcomings, and is being replaced by many with RAM and more advanced CIWS systems. Among the most pertinent weaknesses is the short effective range of only 1.5 km, along with some difficulties with maneuvering targets and sea-skimming missiles.
Cost: $8 million

30mm/82 cal Dragon CIWS (http://www.aiad.it/upload/aziende/azienda_129/Millenium.jpg)

A more advanced CIWS system employed by Clan Smoke Jaguar. It boasts significantly increased range, superior detection and tracking capabilities, and much better ammunition, and retains the low weight, size and crew that make the Phalanx so popular. Like the 35mm millennium gun concept, it fires a mix of armor piercing and fragmenting shells. The latter break up into numerous small fragments after being fired, significantly increasing the chance of scoring a hit.
Cost: $10 million

CIRRUS MK.1 Air Defense System.
Major Components: AN/SPY-4A radar, AN/UYK-163/164 computers, AN/SLQ-212 countermeasures
Platforms: Carrack Class CG Flight IIA
A replacement for the older Aegis system, which boasts significantly increased flexibility and detection range, as well as greater tracking and engagement capabilities. It also addresses one of the major weaknesses of older SPY-1 radars, which can be fooled by ground clutter when operating in littoral areas. Currently, this system supports the full range of SM-2 missiles, including the ER block IV and ER block IVA. However, it has been stated that these are only interim systems, and that a new SAM series will replace them in the future. Currently, this system is only deployed on the Carrack class guided missile cruisers, and two Ticonderoga vessels that were used as test beds.
Cost: $600 million

AEGIS MK.8 Air Defense System

ADVANCED COMPONENTS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are advanced units designed by Clan Smoke Jaguar, rather than acquired from other sources, and as such, we're a little more protective of them. Only nations in good standing will be allowed to purchase the primary variant, though some will have slightly downgraded or older variants for general export that can be found in the previous sections of the storefront. For nations in good standing, production contracts are available, though we tend not to accept hard currency for these, so they would most likely come as part of a trade.

An up-gunned version of the Dragon to be deployed on larger vessels. The 40mm gun boasts greater range and firepower than the original 30mm unit, making it more effective against the increasingly heavy missiles that have been entering service around the world. As with the original unit, the gun has its own sensor suite, including a radar and IIR sensor, but is also capable of being integrated into the ship's central fire control to give increased range against small and stealthy targets, as well as those protected by jamming.
Cost: $15 million

Mk.72 SAM Launcher (http://www.warbook2000.com/naval/RAM/RAM.jpg)
System Weight: 7 tons
Armament: 21xRIM-242 PDM
Crew: 4
A slightly enlarged version of the RIM-116 RAM launcher for firing the RIM-242 PDM. With the longer range and better seeker of the PDM, this provides significantly improved defense against antishipping and cruise missiles, and provides a particularly notable increase in capability against sea-skimmers. The launcher is a self-contained unit that's tied into the ship's tracking and fire control system.
Cost: $9 million per launcher (missiles included)

Firefly Defensive Aids Suite
An active defense suite for tanks that’s designed to defend against ATGMs, HEAT, and EFP projectiles. The system includes a 360 degree scanning radar tied to an advanced computer that controls a bank of 28 launchers placed around the turret. When an incoming projectile is detected within lethal radius, the launcher fires off a projectile that acts much like a claymore mine, dispensing a cloud of small steel balls to disable the incoming projectile. The system is programmed not to engage KE penetrators like LOSAT missiles and APFSDS rounds, as the effectiveness against them is virtually nil.
This system is notably similar to the Soviet Arena, but, unlike that particular system, provides full 360 degree protection (the Arena leaves a 60 degree blind at the rear). Like the Arena, however, the system is normally switched off, and must be switched on manually.
Cost: $500,000

STRATUS Mk.1 Multitask Defense System
Major Components: AN/SPY-5A radar, AN/SQQ-122C Combat System, AN/SQR-101 Hull-Mounted Sonar, AN/SQR-32A Towed Array, AN/UYK-165/166 computers, AN/SLQ-224 countermeasures
Platforms: Ragnarok BBAGN, Modified Cetus BBG, Modified Toryu BBG, Modified Fenrir CG, Modified Locke CGN
A step up from the CIRRUS system previously used, this is a true multitask central computer system. Unlike the CIRRUS, the STRATUS system has its own sonar systems integrated into the standard sensor package. Like the CIRRUS, it includes multiple redundancies and is capable of integrating data from outside systems, including additional sensors and data from other platforms such as LAMPS helicopters and UAVs. It's far superior to the CIRRUS Mk.3A in the underwater dimension, and marginally so in air and surface engagements. The system's components are, however, too much for smaller vessels to operate effectively, and it is not recommended for any vessel under 20,000 tons.
Cost: $1 billion

CIRRUS MK.3A Air Defense System.
Major Components: AN/SPY-4D radar, AN/UYK-163/164 computers, AN/SLQ-214 countermeasures
Platforms: Cetus BBG, Upgraded Toryu BBG, Fenrir CG, Locke CGN, Cardinal DDG, Albatross DDGN
A further upgrade of the CIRRUS system to improve defensive capabilites. This version includes full 3D surveillance and tracking coverage, with significantly enhanced underwater performance.
Cost: $750 million

Lightning Bug Defensive Aids Suite
A scaled down version of the Firefly that can be employed on the hull or turret of IFVs and other lighter AFVs which don’t have the capability to support the Firefly. It’s almost as capable, but houses only 16 launchers, though up to two launcher systems can be installed in larger vehicles.
Cost: $300,000

Jitterbug Defensive Aids Suite
A system that complements suites like the Firefly, and is designed primarily to confuse missiles that use SACLOS guidance, such as the TOW, HOT, MILAN, Dragon, and AT-3. It consists of an EO jammer, laser warning system, and 16 launchers placed on turret that deploy a smoke screen, which obscures the tank from sight within 2.5 seconds, and lasts for 25 seconds. The system also includes a RWR and an IR jammer for use against missiles like the Javelin and AGM-65D Maverick.
Cost: $300,000

Whirligig Defensive Aids Suite
A downgraded Jitterbug for those vehicles that don’t have the capability to mount it. It has 12 launchers, that can be fitted onto the hull or turrets, as standard, but like the Lightning Bug, additional ones can be added if there’s space for them.
Cost: $250,000

Vehicle ETC Guns:
Clan Smoke Jaguar has recently completed, and begun fielding, a series of ETC guns in both small and medium calibers. Due to the sheer variety and number of vehicle types that can be upgraded, it has been decided to just list them here as a viable upgrade. We currently offer ETC weapons in 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 76.2mm, 90mm, 105mm, 120mm, and 140mm. As of yet, this technology has not been applied to artillery, though some systems may appear in the future. These ETC guns provide a significant boost, usually a 30-45% increase in penetration at a standard 2 km range, and provide better long-range kill potention for the vehicles that operate them.
Cost: Variable. State number and type of systems that are desired, and number and type of vehicles being upgraded for an appraisal.

Some Penetration Figures (APDS rounds):
140mm ETC Type 1: 1785mm @ 2 km (Dire Wolf and specialized assault tanks)
140mm ETC Type 2: 1582mm @ 2 km (Iron Cheetah 2 and upgrade of conventional 140mm guns)
120mm ETC: 1249mm @ 2 km (compared to 960mm for M829A3, 700-800 for most other 120mm)
105mm ETC: 783mm @ 2 km (compared to 560mm for UK 105mm, better than most current 120mm rounds)
90mm ETC: 440mm @ 2 km (compared to 320mm for current, equivalent to many 105mm rounds)
76.2mm ETC: 319mm @ 2 km (compared to 230mm for current, equivalent to 90mm)
40mm ETC: 151mm @ 2 km (compared to 105mm for current)
35mm ETC: 108mm @ 2 km (compared to 75mm for current, equal to current 40mm)
30mm ETC: 77mm @ 2 km (compared to 54mm for current, equal to current 35mm)
25mm ETC: 54mm @ 2 km (compared to 38mm for current, equal to 30mm)

Passive Electric Armor
Though employed as standard on most advanced ground units now, it is entirely possible that a nation would still field vehicles without this wonderful invention. Passive electric armor passes an electric current through two metal plates in the vehicle's armor. When the jet from a HEAT warhead penetrates, it eventually comes into simultaneous contact with both plates, in which case the electric current serves to break up the jet, preventing total penetration. This system has proven to be effective, rendering M113 APCs virtually immune to RPG fire, and it all but eliminates the threat of HEAT warheads. As with the gun upgrades, we will provide cost appraisal based on the number and types of units that are desired to be upgraded.

Mk.127 Series Strategic VLS
These are exceptionally large VLS cells that are designed to alternately accept either a single extremely large missile or a large number of smaller ones. Depending on the model VLS and the missile being used, they have the capacity for 2-16 times the missile load of the standard Mk.41. Compared to the Mk.41, which is actually very large for most of the weapons it fires, the Mk.127 is often much more efficient for the space used. Though a 36 cell block is capable of replacing a 64-cell Mk.41 block, it does take up 3-4 times the interior space, so it is recommended that only 8-12 Mk.127 cells be used if a ship is modified for them (one Mk.127 for every 5-8 Mk.41). Installing more will take up important interior space, and will require something like fuel, supplies, hangar, or berthing space to be sacrificed. In addition, the nature of the cells dictates that they be packed only in specialized facilities, so the loads cannot be replenished underway, and if needed facilities are not present somewhere, prepacked cells will need to be shipped instead.
These cells are also designed only for very large vessels, and it is not recommended for them to be employed on anything below 20,000 tons. As with above units, upgrades are based on appraisal, so you will need to give us your requirements, and we will see what can be done at what cost.

OOC: that might not be the best idea. These systems were designed for tanks, and most of the equipment is fitted onto the turret. IFVs have much smaller turrets that aren't as good for such systems. These also weigh about 1000 kg combined.
I've got other things I'm looking into that will improve the protection of the IFVs, but it will be a bit before I have that.

As well, as for the 5"/62 and 5"/54 Mk.2b and Mk.3 guns, we hope that they can be included in the antishipping missile deal, as there are a high number of additional 5"/62cal guns that we need to outfit on frigates, destroyers, and smaller missile craft. Also, as we require a high number of ETC guns for the ground vehicles, we inquire if it is possible to send them to us in kit-form.

As well, we would also like to order the following:

As we are eager to hear an reply, we will prepare for the monetary transfer for the deal, as we are more than willing to work with CSJMI to modernize our military.
OOC: EEEEEK! *thump*

Even if I saw this coming (and asked for it) . . . that's, well, quite a bit there.

IC:
We are happy that our Omzian allies have displayed such interest in our technical developments. To that end, we will provide the following information:

The estimated cost of necessary equipment for installing and maintaining the ETC guns on all those ground vehicles is $100.41 billion. As one would expect, this will take the full 10 years to finish (OOC: even with that time, the average rate is a vehicle an hour!) due to manpower and production limitations. We will, of course, provide assistance in the installation of the equipment, as some of it is quite delicate and complex.

The Cetus Flight IAs will cost an estimated $1.8 billion each to upgrade to Mk.3 guns, and $1.5 billion for the Mk.2b upgrade.
The cost for nuclear reactor upgrades, which we are incidentally placing in our own ships, is $800 million.

The Flight IB Cetus will cost about $1.75 billion to upgrade with Mk.3 guns, and the other vessel will cost about $1.6 billion for the Mk.2b upgrade. Again, there is an upgrade to nuclear propulsion/power for $800 million.

The Flight IIC Cetus will cost about $1.3 billion for the Mk.3 upgrade, and $1.15 billion for the Mk.2b. Again, nuclear propulsion comes at $800 million

The Toryus will cost $1.3 billion each for the Mk.3 upgrade, and $1.15 billion for the Mk.2b. Again, nuclear propulsion is available, this time for a cost of $700 million

The Zuihos will cost $1 billion each for the Mk.3 upgrade, and $900 million for the Mk.2b. These can also be provided with nuclear propulsion for $600 million.

The Yubaris will cost some $900 million for Mk.3 guns, with the cost being $800 million for Mk.2b weapons. Again, we have nuclear propulsion available for $500 million.

The Oyodas will cost $800 million for Mk.3 guns, and $725 million for Mk.2b ones. Once again, there is a nuclear power upgrade for $500 million

The Junyo BBLs will cost $750 million for Mk.3 guns, and $675 million for Mk.2b. Unfortunately, we aren't offering nuclear reactors for these.

The Yahagis will cost $450 million for the Mk.3 upgrade, and $400 million for Mk.2bs

The Hiragis will cost $575 million each for Mk.3 guns, and $520 million for Mk.2b weapons.

TOTAL ETC UPGRADE COST: $209.2 billion ($108.79 b ships, $100.41 b ground vehicles)

Combined with the other purchases desired, the total comes to some $717.799 billion, and we will happily provide the rights to the 5” weapons as part of the missile contract.

OOC: Sorry to be a hassle, but there's also some money for you :P The references to the prices are also appreciated, as I do plan to order more ships soon for more battlegroups once the population level allows me to.

Also just a note regarding the ETC gun upgrades, the Seafire is basically an indigenous name for the Seacat, so not much changes there. /OOC

We are delighted to get a positive response as it seems that CSJMI is willing to play a major role in the modernization of our military equipment, structure, and doctrines, as the installation of new forms of weapons system and propulsion would greatly enhance our firepower and self-defence capabilities, along with relieving our logistical difficulties. As we look forward to the refittings at both Omzian and Smoke Jaguar facilities, we are also interested in the reactor installation for the Zuiho BB and the battlecruisers. As we already anticipate for the nuclear reactor upgrades for the eight Toryu BBs and eight Cetus BBs, according to our calculation, an additional $20.8 billion dollars is needed.

As we are aranging to wire the total amount of money in a total of 100 portions over a period of 8 years, we are looking forward to further deals to modernize the Omzian military, especially the new CIWS systems.

As well, the Omzian military would also like to inquire about a possible purchase of the following to outfit the lighter Independent Brigades and the Light Armoured Divisions. However, we would also like all tanks to be outfitted with ETC guns:

580x Black Lanner Medium Tanks = $2.9 billion
1530x Stingray IIISJ Light Tanks = $6.88 billion
1100x Merkava 4SJ = $6.82 billion
Subtotal: $16.6 billion (without ETC gun fitting)

Also, as we are interested in the vehicles, we would like to inquire if it is possible to procure a total of 2800 M48A7 Marauder tanks as separate units instead of as part of a package to form a number National Guard and militia armoured regiments as a low cost solution.

OOC: Whoops, didn't put up the Dragon II, did I. Well, I knew I forgot something. Well, I'll fix that quickly enough

IC:
We estimate the total cost of employing ETC guns on the desired vehicles as being approximately $18.6 billion.

For the M48A7 units, these can be made available, and can mount ETC guns as well. The price of the basic vehicle is $1.8 million, and for the new M48A9 unit with a 105mm ETC gun, improved fire control, and electric armor, the cost is $2.5 million. The total would be $5.04 or $7 billion, depending on which unit is desired.

Minus the M48A7/9 units, the total cost here is $39.4 billion

The Omzian National Guard and Militia had rather expressed their interest in the M48A9 instead of the M48A7, and is willing to pay more in exchange for improved combatcapabilities in both conventional and unconventional operations against enemy armoured and infantry forces in conjunction with the more powerful Iron Cheetah series.

With the additional introduction of the welcomed Dragon II CIWS system, we express our wish to purchase a total of 3575 systems, which should translate to an additional $53.625 billion dollars.

OOC: Also, just curious, what's the Dire Wolf tank you listed in the ground packages thread in IM? It would be pretty interesting if you are developing a IC replacement or a new heavy tank, though the upgraded Iron Cheetah II's armour and 140mm ETC gun should hold against the other thanks out there fairly well. I'd suppose that the original Iron Cheetah should also continue to serve well as a heavy armoured ammunition carrier.

I'd also be interested in the proposed 203mm ETC though, which could serve well in Corps-level artillery.

We have confirmed the Omzian request, and with the M48A9 units and Dragon IIs, the total comes to $100.025 billion. Now, regarding the M48A9, this is still a highly classified unit, and we are offering it only because of the extremely close relations between our two nations. However, we do request that the true capabilty of the units be kept under wraps (OOC: Gun is identified as Improved 105mm HV and armor is stated as including ERA in official documents - no mention of ETC or electric armor). These units are still intended to provide a very nasty surprise for any unwary attackers.

OOC: Just be patient. I've been rather busy, but things are coming.

To: CSJMI

Although we are surprised by the classified nature of the M48A9 weapons system, it has been noted within the Omzian military, and work are being done to assign these tanks to only specialized armoured regiments (to prevent "loose speaking" and leak of confidental information among inexperienced/undisciplined personnel) to replace the outdated T-34s, T-55s, and M60s that has been plaguing the Omzian militia. While we express our thanks and gratitude for these units, with the classified nature of the particular unit common in both Smoke Jaguar and Omzian military, we hope that as defensive units they will excel in their roles.

Regards,

Omzian Ministry of National Defence

Seeing the unexpected introduction of new equipment, the Omzian military would like to inquire if it is possible for a renewal of our MFN status received during the Homeland Defence War. Because of this, it is expected that we will conduct an additional deal consisting of the following:

--A total of 2100 Dire Wolf main battle tanks to outfit a total of six heavy armoured divisions, which includes five from the Omzian Army and one from the Omzian Honour Guard's "Warhammer" Division. Due to the high cost ($37.8 billion) of this order, and the restrictive nature of the unit, we would like to inquire as a replacement for some portions of the monetary value if additional forms of payment is possible, in the form of material (such as metals, fuel, computer technologies, etc) and rights and access to additional Omzian mines and oil rigs, as the Omzian labs has made a series of discoverys and advancements in the field of advanced carbon structures such as carbon nanotube;

-1710x Rhino Heavy APCs to outfit a total of six Special Mechanized Infantry Divisions ($6.84 billion);

-1100x M2021A2 Roundhead 203mm SPH to outfit additional artillery brigades and division. We calculate the cost to be a total of $22 billion with supply vehicles.
-990x M2021A3s to outfit additional heavy artillery brigades. We calculate the cost to be $20.79 billion with the armoured supply vehicles.

-2480x M2012A2 Cavalier for the outfitting of additional divisions. We calculate the cost to be $39.68 billion with tracked RSVs. As a result of the new order for newer artillery, we would also like to inquire if it is at all possible to return a total of 2000 M2001A1 Crusader SPH units and 1000 M2012A1 Cavalier SPH units in exchange for a much lowered cost.
-1500x M2012A3 Cavalier for the outfitting of additiona divisions and brigades. We calculate the cost to be $11.25 billion.

-21x Firestorm IV Arsenal Ships for complementing both the Omzian fire support groups and the five BBAGN groups. We determine the total cost to be $29.4 billion.
-21x Firestorm V Arsenal ships. We determine the cost to be $31.5 billion.

-12x Narwhal SSCVN for the outfitting of a total of three special "Assault Submarine Groups". We calculate the cost to be $60 billion.
-12x Skipper Special Operations SSN for the outfitting of additional special attack submarine groups. We calculatet he cost to be $60 billion.
-12x Pachyderm Transport SSN for complementing the SSCVNs. The cost is determined to be $48 billion.
-72x AMDS Submersibles for complementing the Pachyderm SSNs. The total cost is determined to be $10.8 billion.

-64x Goliath Class Maritime Prepositioning Ship. The cost is $38.4 billion.
-64x Kitsune Class Fast Vehicle Cargo Ship. The cost is $25.6 billion.
-12x Hapsburg Class Marine Corps Prepositioning Ship. The cost is $5.4 billion.
-64x Peregrine HSV. The total cost is $9.6 billion.
-24x Quetzalcoatl Class Heavy Transport Tanker. The total cost is $4.8 billion.
-12x Zephyr ALS. The total cost is $5.4 billion.
-24x Jefferson BC. The total cost is $8.4 billion.
-12x Carpenter Deckship. The total cost is $4.8 billion.
-12x Scrapper Deckship. The total cost is $3.36 billion.
-48x Kamigawa CS. The total cost is $7.68 billion.
-96x Serenade TS. The total cost is $15.36 billion.
-36x Zebra Crane Ship. The total cost is $2.16 billion.

Total Base Price Excluding Possible Deals (with Dire Wolf tank and Cavalier artillery): $509.02 billion. (To be paid over 100 installments within 2 years)

As we have also reviewed the VLS units, while they had met more than enough of our requirements, it is still deemed that only very large ships to be outfitted with this system. Therefore, we inquire a possible refit of the following:
-The outfit of five Ragnarok BBAGN (IIA), with the possible removal of approximately 192 standard Mk.41 VLS cells (out of 640) in exchange for approximately 24-108 Mk.127B Extended Heavy VLS cells;
-The outfit of five Cetus Flight IA and IB vessels, with the possible removal of 96 Mk.41 VLS cells in exchange for approximately 12-54 Mk.127B Heavy VLS cells;
-The outfit of three Cetus Flight IIC vessels, with the possible removal of 128 Mk.41 VLS cells n exchange for approximately 16-72 Mk.127B Heavy VLS cells;
-The outfit of eight Toryu Flight IIC vessels, with the possible removal of 128 Mk.41 VLS cells in exchange for approximately 16-72 Mk.127B Heavy VLS cells;
-The outfit of 40 Locke CGNs (within carrier battle groups) and 36 Fenrir CGs, with the possible removal of 64 VLS cells in exchange for 8-36 Mk.127A Heavy VLS cells.

-The outfit of 40 Locke CGNs (within carrier battle groups) and 36 Fenrir CGs, with the possible removal of 64 VLS cells in exchange for 8-36 Mk.127A Heavy VLS cells.
We would not be adverse to accepting resources and resource rights in lieu of payment for the Dire Wolf tanks, and would certainly welcome it if doing so can ease the burden on our Omzian allies.

As for the Cavaliers, we estimate a cost of $5 million for upgrading the M2012A1 to A3 standard. It only costs about $2 million for upgrade to the A2 standard. The cost of upgrading an M2001A1 Crusader is much more significant, about $10 million for the A3 standard, and $8 million for the A2.
Additionally, there is a $2 million cost for upgrading the M2002 RSV to M2013A1/2 standard, and $1 million for upgrade to M2013A3 standard. Upgrading the M2013A1 RSV to A2 standard is negligable, but will cost $2 million for A3 standard.

The large ships, (Toryu, Cetus, Ragnarok) were all designed to be able to accommodate these VLS units, which were deemed a likely future development. With the size of the vessels, loading the full possible number of cells is not much of an issue, as there's already so much storage space.
Cost for upgrading the Ragnarok by replacing 192 Mk.41 cells with 108 Mk.127bs is approximately $100 million
Modifying the Cetus by replacing 96 Mk.41 cells with 54 Mk.127bs will cost approximately $50 million each, or $65 million for replacing 128 Mk.41 with 72 Mk.127b cells.
The cost for the Toryus will be the same as for the Cetus units, so $65 million for 72 Mk.127b cells
For the Fenrir CGs, we advise replacing the 64 cell block with 16 Mk.127b cells, which costs $15 million. They can mount the ful 36, but we don't really recommend that with the internal space required. Of course, if these are in a carrier group with replenishment ships nearby, it may still be practical. The Locke CGNs don't quite have this issue, and we do recommend the full 36 cell block for them, which will cost $34 million

As the Omzian military is extremely satisfied that the proposals has gone well, we would like to propose a long-time supplying plan of iron ore, lead, tungsten, molybdenum, zinc, timber, natural gas, petroleum, crude oil, and uranium, as the Omzian mining and oil production industries are more than capable of meeting such demand to possibly fulfill the gap in the Smoke Jaguar mining industry. Though we do not expect this as a full replacement for the $37.8 billion USD, our estimate calls for a hundred million dollar to billion dollar value.

As for the Cavaliers, we are willing to accept the new proposal instead of turning the old units over. As we have a total of 3450 Cavaliers in service or attrition reserve, we would like to negotiate a possible A2 upgrade for 2450x M2012A1s, and a possible A3 upgrade for 1000x M2012A1s, which means that the upgrade cost is $9.9 billion. However, we figure the cost for the upgrade of 1000 M2013A1 RSVs to the M2013A3 standard to be another $2 billion.

As we figure that the upgrade cost of the Crusader is higher than we expect, we would like to also purchase another 928 M2012A2s and 928 M2012A3s. We figure the cost for these new purchases to be $31.088 billion with tracked RSVs.

With the upgrade plans however, we would like to go with the current plan (including replacing 64 Mk.41 with 16 Mk.127b on the Fenrir CG, and 64 Mk.41 for 36 Mk.127b for the Locke CGN), as we are preparing for the wiring of the upgrade costs, and are also preparing to send these ships to CSJ shipyards for conversion.

In developing the Dreamer Shark class, the aWen Corporation would like to purchase 100 of the single 5”/62 cal Mk.2 Naval Guns to upgrade the existing 5"/54 gun present on the ship.

In addition, the aWen Corporation is interested in negotiating a deal for production rights to the gun, as it plans on installing it on all of their Dreamer Sharks sold in the future. We are flexible and can offer any range of natural resources, money, or otherwise in purchasing limited production rights.

Sincerely,
Redarlin Makda

The cost of the guns will be $900 million, and we have confirmed the order. We expect that we can have the full load delivered within 4 months.

As for production rights, we will grant that for $100 million as a gesture towards a fellow OMP member, thus bringing the total to an even $1 billion

We are honored that the Empire of Calpe has chosen us to provide for their defense needs, and anticipate that we can deliver the last of the desired units within 6 NS years.

As far as paying in batches, this is perfectly acceptable, and can be paced to coincide with with the delivery schedule if desired.

OOC: Biggest I've got is a 22" which should appear when I finally get around to finishing this update, which itself will occur when I finally find that information I need for the radars. Until then, the 20" guns certainly could do quite a bit of damage to many SDs themselves, but do remember that CSJ isn't commited to fighting SDs with guns. That's something of a losing proposition if you don't want to build SDs of your own.

OOC: That change is not related to them being made more available for export. Rather, I'm looking into some things on the technical side with ETC right now. The new listed weapons might actually be better in most respects.
