Designed by Freedom Countried R&D, its FC's national Rifle, and has been given to all our Infanatry Divisions!!!!!
Its 6.62 is designed to use FC bullets which are somewhere in between the versatile 5.56 and the powerful 7.62.
Its design is a mix of the tried and tested M4 and OICW, and has replaced the OICW, AKS-74U, G36 and M16 in our armed forces. A LMG version is being developed soon!!!
It has a carbine designed, M16 inspired barrel, with what looks like a smooth gripped M203 underneath. Both barrels merge into an OICW's main body with trigger, but both the grenade launchers 5 round magazine and the assault rifles magazines are at the back. This allows added weight to be added at the front to reduce barrel rising and increase accuracy. It has a stock which is where the magazines are inserted, in front of the shoulder. The grenade launcher can be unattached to leave the Assault rifle, for QB and Airborne use. Also, there is a multipurpose slot where a custom made bayonet, custom made, laser 'pin prick' targeting, custom made torch and custom made MILES system fit into the holder.
The grenade launcher fires either HE or HEAT shells, with the HEAT being a mini version of the tank inspired shell. The assault rifle uses the FC 6.62 rounds which can be brass cased or explosive matrix enclosed. This is the first step my R&D has amde other than a rotary launcher for torpedos, which isnt that special.

a damned fine rifle, we'll take 2,000 for our special forces to use as needed, an amount of 4 million has been wired, also, is there any way that you can refit them to fire standard .308 or .30-06 ammo? if it can, we will be willing to pay for the refits, otherwise we will need to purchase several cases of ammunition before we can refit some of our presses to make our own.

Kaltingdon: While i am hesitant to us the G word you should perhaps retracvt your statement as you are croosing the G boundary on 2 counts.
1: your claims are very similar to declaring soemone else's casualties for them, either Rp it out properly or don't bother (ie how could a small nation possibly lacking in resources hope to succesfully infiltrate the testing labs of a large nation with some rather paranoid tendencies, you may have been able to aquire a few from disgruntled unpaid soldiers belonging to one of the customer nations, but 2 is simply not enough to give you a good start on reverse engineering, even the best reverse engineers out there have porblems with modern assault rifles like the G36 and Steyr AUG and the FC-57 is bound to even more complicated)
2: While the 6.62mm round is likely capable of being effective at 1000m (but since FC doesn't use it in any of his sniper rifles i doubt it has much effect or accuracy beyond 600-700m) to claim to be able to take an assault rifle and give it a 1000m range is way off, for that you would need a much heavier barrel, receiver and stock assembly which would make the weapon unwieldy.
There are plenty rifle in the world with a 1000+ metre range yet no one uses such a weapon as a standard arm, why? because it is simply not needed, most infantry battles take place at 100-400m with the odd egagement taking place perhaps out to 600m plus, but it is for those engagements that you have GPMGs and sniper rifles.

Yes, you may produce your own ammo, but arent able to create any other weapons in it.
And the grenade launchers stay on, sorry.
I will need to purchase 5,000 of the 6.62 ammo as well as 2000 clips of the grenade to keep us well in bullets till we can manufature our own. That should come to 22,000 consider the money wired.
Even though the rifle is ugly as hell, I'll take 100, see if it can compete with our M5s. If they are found better, then maybe I'll buy more.
