Care to explain why Atheism is so popular?
We have strict laws concerning religion. Although people are allowed to practice religion, you must be 17 yrs or older to practice, because any younger and we beleive that children are too easily influenced. You are also not allowed to teach your children anything religious, as we beleive that influences them. They either choose to join a sect themselves, or stay atheist. The majority of the religious people are immigrants.
What are parents allowed to teach their children? Anything?
Nothing that is religious, because at that age, they are very impressionable. In RL, parents tend to hardcore their own beliefs into the children. We would rather the children have a right to their own beliefs.
What morals/values/ideals ARE parents allowed to teach their children? You might as well just call the parents permanently assigned Social workers :P
Pretty much. Partly because of our strict laws governing parental values, racism is nearly nonexistant in our country.
