Today in Zeppel City, the capital of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Zefyrz, over 15,000 people gathered to protest the nation's stance on 'ethnic cleansing' and the prospect of the implementation of The Final Solution, a plan by the government to deport or execute all non-ethnic Zefyerens. That would mean over 2 million deaths or deportations of Slavs, Jews, Arabs, Africans, Asians, and Elves.
The entire Oompa Loompan population of Zefyrz has already been put into candy factories and are forced to work 18 hours a day making sugary poisons for foreign children.
During the protest, some people bagan hurling rocks, and one group of youths hurled basketballs at police with a home-made catapult.
Police were forced to fire on the crowd when they claim that protests began attacking police with baseball bats and golf clubs. 14 people were killed by police, who fired both rubber bullets and live ammunition at the mob. 42 people were arrested, and one police officer suffered 2nd degree burns when he was struck by a Molotov Cocktail four hours after the protest was quelled.
The Provisional Government, now headed by President Martine Bouchard, has said that any further protests will be met with more arrests. He did, however, apologise to the public for what he called 'excessive use of force' by police.
