Today in a special news confrence the Torontonias Space Program, plans were unvield to a proposed Colony on Mercury, utilizing Torontonias new Heat converting technology, enabling the heat from the Sun to be converted into power for everything from life support to the entertainment systems. the space program head: Mark Walzberg had these words to say
This will be a proud moment in history, when we see the fruits of our labour ripen and bear seed, we shall see our brave colonists flown away, in hopes of seing them again. This Colony will open up new oportunites for the Federation, and hopefully they shall be used in the right fashion. I also hope that after this, there will be a renewed endeavor in the Space Program, especially since Budget time is coming up soon....

The planned construction of the colony ship is within the next two years, within this year altough, numerour probes are going to be launched from the Torontonias Space Station in an effort to better map, and plan for the colonization of Mercury. As of today the Space Program has launched 30 satilittes into Orbit, since its founding, and Maintains 12 of them, and has 3 Space Stations in Orbit.
