For the past few weeks construction has been underway on a new space station as part of the joint Jace/Lowland Clan space program, and also in conjunction with the Jace "World Wide Strike" ability program.

This station will be a waypoint in the Jace/Lowland Clan expansion into the solar system, as well as offering enhanced defencive abilities to Jace, Lowland Clan and there allies, as when complete, the station will have the ability to deploy orbital paratrooper drops anywhere in the world (The station would of course have to be orbitining over at the very least, the same hemisphere as the target).

ASNN - With the announcement of the new station, nicknamed Apollo by workers and administrators of the project, marks the return to the scene of international politics by the ASLC government. Recent remarks by the Reformist Conservative Party claiming that the station was noting more 'than an expensive waste of money with no possible way of getting paratroopers down to Earth without turning them into overdone steaks' was met today by the governments announcing the declassification of the OT-5 Orbital Para-Transport craft, desinged to drop about 5-6 specially trained marines down to Earth. Rumors have it that the first use of the station will come in the next few weeks due to the beginnings of what looks like could become a civil war in the region of SGN.
