Learn Magic

06-10-2003, 11:37
We're offering our services to other nations seeking training in the magical arts. We have varying options available for schooling, including the Tower of the Maeji, and time spent with the Aeryie (shapeshifters with flying bond animals) as well as training with the dragon-guard, our small but skilled force of dragon-riders. Our specialty is dimensional travel and its various aspects.

Wasn't everyone once?

Keep in mind that one cannot be skilled at something without learning about it either through training or personal experience. Therefore I find your negative attitude to be somewhat close-minded. I'm sure you were a n00b yourself once. You should be more respectful to others whose opinions are different than your own.

Besides, you obviously don't know even the most basic rules of courtesy to respond with a one word reply. Ignore my offer if it pleases you to do so, but I can at least consider myself more civilized than you profess to be.

n00b

Hey, listen n00b, going around calling people that does not solve anything. He is attempting an RP, not saying he's going to war with all the nations with six billion troops.

If you have any REAL constructive critisicms to give, lets hear it. Otherwise I will report you and your post to a Mod so fast it'll make your head spin.

Hey! You are a newbie, not a n00b, nations such as Broad are n00bs, someone could be here for a year and still be a n00b. You are doing fine. If you wish, I will give you blanket protection until you are strong.

Thank you very much for your offer. I appreciate it. It's kind of hard to get started around here. Someone should put together a... I don't know... a coalition of small nations so new people won't have to worry about larger nations deciding to come down on them.

I offer blanket protection as well if needed. I have almost 250 of my fighter aircraft, and 250 of my bomber aircraft. Tell me if you need it... the carpet bombing force from down under ground will come to your rescue.

A nice start but since i tend to ignore magic i have little advice to offer you.

Of course dragons have thier porblems...
ie dragon vs. dwarven bolt thrower: 50/50 result of dead dragon or dead bolt thrower crew therefore: dragon vs quad .50 turret or other ww2 or better AA mounting= 100% dead dragon.

Sorry i'm just very anti magic, when i play fantasy stuff i tend to be a witch hunter or use dwarves.

But Dragons are magical beasts, physics don't mean jack s*** to them.

Ah well if you are going to play that card:
A blood thirster of khorne makes himself even bigger than the dragon and eats it.

To be honest the only good treatments of Dragons in litreature (that i have read) are in Anne Macaffreies pern novels (dragons with almost real physics!) and the Raven books.

As i said in my first post i ignore magic.

Anyway my appologies for clogging up the thread (why do i let myself get drawn into this?)

"Pity that magic and the Force don't mix..."

"Actually, my Lord, I was thinking about the fact that about .1% of our population is totally incapable of any Force use. We could send some of them there."

"Hmm... As it is, they are of no use to us. If we send them and acquire Magic it will be beneficial for us, if they fail, we have them already out of our country, and if they die... Well... They won't be missed. I approve. Study it and if it can be done, we'll start diplomatic relations with those newly-arrived. We could even give them some protection in trade for letting those Nulls try to learn Magic."

"Yes, my Lord."

(OOC: You don't need to respond in any way to this post. It is just an IC way to let you know I am watching this, and thinking about your offer.)
