Imperium to build on Io

Melkor Unchained

Ahadi Il-Amir, the new Fleet captain for the Imperium's revamped DDSI project, stood silently on the bridge of the Ali'Staan. Before him loomed a massive moon.

Io.

Around them travelled the 1st and 2nd Fleets, along with a fleet of cargo barges and construction engines. Shipyards were scheduled for a Hyperspace jump to Io within the hour, and the Ali'Staan's bridge was rife with excitement. A few days before, an agreement had been brokered with landowners on Io to establish an outpost that would serve as a staging point for Imperial and Ardan space assets. Construction was to commence immediately, and crews were going to break ground as soon as they set up the construction facilities topside. All of the plots had been selected, and Il-Amir was in charge of overseeing the operation's security.

He watched as the first of the construction crews cleared the decks to begin the construction. Being unable to use Uruk labor, this would take some time. Soon, however, the Io Imperium would come to be.

Pilon

The nation of Pilon watches warily as they notice Melkor and Menelmacar expanding into the universe at an alarming rate. This is not considered a good thing as the two are bound to grow into each other...
In typical Pilonese fashion we watch and we wait but take no other action in responce to this.

Eh. There's a lot of room up here, and they're both a bit slow off the starting line. Menelmacar less so.

We wish the Imperium the best of luck in establishing this new stronghold.

Already in the ownership of 3 systems, we wish you the best of luck-but stay out of our systems.

Ever scince our war against the Blood Dragons, security has been tight.

The Emperor watches this incident with a cautious eye-and has called a meeting to discuss this "Earth" planet which we are currently building a base on, and wether it could become a threat to the whole Taiidan Imperium.

From Ganymede and Callisto, the DA fleets were still busy with building their own outposts, however, they took their time to welcome the Melkor fleets.

"If you would like some chocolade, we have enough, and can surely give you some of it in the interest of good neighborhood."

[ooc: Now i COULD search for the link where i build my outposts, but i`m just too lazy...]

"...blah blah congratulating his most serene majesty melkor on dor daedoloth's mighty strides toward the very stars, blah blah signed renate von saucken et cetera... argh! belay that, i'll think something better up."

Preferably before Burning Mountain starts sacrificing Easterlings to Lancaster and ripping off Sky Furnaces because they think surface burns are cool. For a bit they'll just work for Melkor as mercenaries I guess...
