OOC:
I would recomend this aircraft for liason and perhaps COIN, CAS might be stretching it's capabilities.

Build a gunship version(mini AC-130), people here seem to cream themselves over them.

Sorry to but in but i'm working a similar aircraft, currently designated the GR11 its basically a GR9a with a decent multi role radar set and a sniper XR based targeting pod, neatly fufilling all the needs (bar speed and range) of the JSF for a mere fraction of the price (ie it can use most ATG weapons and a rnage of BVR AAMs inc AMRAAM, Soviet weapons and Meteor).

The GR number is simply a service number so is country independent. then again since mine has been in the works for a long time (its only with the adoption of the MK4000 family that it really came together, the airframes existed it just needed a radar) and is to all intents and purposes finished, i just haven't been arsed posting it.

of course it will be serving as the CFF-9G.
