Although the reasons are not exactly the same as Setian-Sebeceans, Tradewinds' purpose against Thunderstrike is through agression made by Thunderstrike to one of the nations territories, TC Sakura. Casualties were inflicted by Thunderstrike's troops to AFTTSD (AFT Territory Sakura Division). Reports say that this attack was used as "muscle flexing" to show Thunderstrike's military capabilities. This attack was made after Thunderstike's boasting of its capabilities on crusing the AFT. The Republic of Tradewinds therefore sides with Setian-Sebeceans on this act of useless agression.

The UNSC has deployed multiple cruisers to Thunderstrike's capitol. The are in Geosynchronized orbit above it. Also a whole contingent of our elite troops 'Helljumpers' have been sent down from Space to Surface pods. Marine regulars have been dispatched via Pelican drop ships. The entire capitol has been surrounded and is only under investigation.

Dropships, have landed in the capital. Federal Marines deployed, SSD units taking out resistance. Planetary bombartment is still underway from the Neh'ess and its escort ships. Metra fighters/bombers are taking out stragic positions. Our casulties our minimal.

As of 1500 our investigation group named Fire Team Charlie did not check in as scheduled. Another Fire Team was dispatched to locate the marines and found only their bodies, armor and weapons were taken. The bodies were unceremoniously dumped on the side of the street. Their neural implants were taken and analzed by our tech officers. It appears our marines came under heavy enemy fire and were eventually gunned down.
