As a first act in the great play of war, 850 planes rise up from the carriers (each carrier has an 85-craft capacity. Each is carrying 2 Yakhon-3 missiles. While the humongous Atlantis Submarines decimate the Allanean forces, forty Star Strife heavy bombers raze the fleet, raining death from above onto the infidels! (Post damage please)

This is outrageous! Allanea is an NCA member, and as Commander In Chief of the NCA I shall not have our members in good standing assaulted by religious fanatics. As Fantasan has been outside the UN's jurisdiction for some time now, we have uncovered stockpiles of WMD and Biological weapons which we are prepared to unleash against any nation who harbors these terrorists. 50,000 regular Fantasan troops are currently en-route to Allanea to defend them against these fanatics, and our orbital missle platforms are being armed and ready to retaliate against strategic military targets in nations harboring anti-Allanean Jihadists.

Fantasan has made an outrageous claim. There are no weapons of mass destruction in Aooogah, and the only thing in Aooogah that could be considered a biological weapon is the food that gives one bad gas. We are against all forms of WMDs, it is a coward's tactic.

Another Coulter streaked out through the sky, burning, as three AA missiles hit it at once. The pilot still managed to get off a shot with a Y-3 missile - or maybe even two. George Rayan didn't care much, and didn't notice. He has already fired all his missiles.

"Sometimes, an Allanean's gotta do what an Allanean's gotta do", he whispered, aiming the nose of his plane just under the waterline of an Aoogan ship. He was actually planning to eject before it hit, but he didn't have enough time.

I have sent 150,000 GH-15 Stinger Swarm Fighters to protect my bomber fleet. As they are much faster than the bombers, they should be intercepting in approximately 7 hours.

(Spoken with a deep guttural accent) “Commander! We have reached the site of the battle. Both of the other Atlantis subs checking in now. Aooogah has lost some ships, they need assistance.”

“Very well, deploy Constrictor to reinforce the Aooogan fleet’s formation. Amadeus and Methuselah will strike at the attacking Allaneans.”

“Orders relayed, Commander. Bringing the Amadeus to flank speed. We should be in firing range within twenty seconds….orders, sir?”

“Full offensive barrage, Captain. I want that fleet dead.”

“Aye aye, sir!”

The two Atlantis Assault subs bring all available weapons to bear on 8 closest Allanean Fleet ships. Even though only about 3/4 of each subs weapons are able to target the ships, that leaves between them 30 Plasma Cannons, 90 mini-gun turrets, 60 torpedo tubes and each ship’s homing anti-ship mines. While the mines swarm toward the fleet and the Plasma Cannons and mini-guns fire relentlessly on the enemy ships, a total of 50 torpedoes per Allanean ship race toward the enemy.

“Would you look at that, Commander! I knew we were packing heavy weaponry, but I never imagined-”

“This is not the time for gawking, Captain! Keep your focus on the battle!”

“Oh, yes sir! I’m sorry sir!”

An Allanean cruiser explodes like it was filled to the brim with C-4. Then another. Then another.


"Cap'n, we must do something!"

Dozens of missiles speed out through the air, then disappear under the surface at the projected locations of the subs.

In the meanwhile. the bombers enter attack range, showering the Aoogan ships with about 10 missiles per plane - or 30 per ship.

"Sir! Methuselah is reporting severe damage to the aft sections! Damage reports coming in...looks like she's lost half propulsion and the anti-ship mines, as well as a full quarter of her mini-guns and torpedo tubes! Hull has been sealed, but there was some crew loss as well. They took the brunt of the attack."

"Damn! Yeltsin will kill me if I get one of his new ships wrecked! Captain, can we locate their commmand ship?"

"Yes sir...but it's right in the middle of their formation! I doubt even these ships could reach it through the entire fleet....Sir, new radar signatures detected! It's the 109th Bomber Squadron. Looks like they've been eavily reinforced, I show 150,000 Stingers with them in addition to the standard 50,000 Rapier IIs."

"Give me a comm channel Captain....This is Commander Tyresi Urlon to the 109th Bomber Squadron. As of now, I am ordering a full initiation of protocol three oh oh seven, authorization Urlon Alpha Theta Epsilon. Begin full anti-ship bombardment, focus on the center of the enemy formation. Stinger craft, await my order."

The Captain stares in shock
"Sir, protocol three oh oh seven? Isn't that the kamikaze scenario? If you order that, we'll lose all 150,000 Stingers!"

"I was hoping to avoid it Captain, but I have to get these subs out of here safely. Besides, I'm not about to give up that much of my air forces, the bombers may still need fighter protection. Only the first wing of 50,000 Stingers will be ordered to go. This IS why they are automated, after all."

"(taking deep breath) Yes Sir, ready on your order."

Bombs flash and explosions tear at the decks of the Allanean fleet. Even the Rapier II's impressive anti-ship payload, however, is not enough for Urlon. "Pull the subs back, Cpatain. Stinger Wing One, prepare for kamikaze maneuver. Wings Two and Three, fly defense for the Rapiers. On my mark, Wing One....Mark!"

The entire bridge crew of the Amadeus stares in horrified amazement as, at the Commander's order, 50,000 Stinger Swarm Fighters abruptly change course and accelerate....straight down, at the Allanean forces. Ramming into the ships at approximately mach 4.5, the Stingers disappear in brilliant explosions as the internal HE payloads designed just for such an attack rupture, blowing the entire fighter into a million pieces and ripping gaping holes in the Allanean ships. (Bwahaha....Post damage please)

12 ships sink, 18 are heavily damaged and have lost communication with Central Command.

The Infidel Swatters fire a volley of 16 missiles each as the bombers leave.

"Messiah! Our fleet has been reduced to 3 ships! We must evacuate the capital!"

Ad-adabib simply smiles at Mohammed.

"I'd rather die a warrior's death fighting for my country than evacuate like a coward would. Hand me an assault rifle and battle gear."

Six aides come out and dress the Messiah in battle armor and hand him an Infidel Ripper assault rifle.

"Messiah, I think you're being rather hasty. We still have 10,000 Infidel Fryers left! If we launch 1000 of them at their fleet we could decimate it!"

"Have you not heard of the Guanyu attack on the Allanean fleet? One thousand Infidel Fryers would be overkill! Launch 100 Infidel Fryers and garrison all coastal buildings."

Sorry, I'll clear that up. Rapier II is an Advanced tech heavy air to surface bomber, Stingers are unmanned air to air fighters that are packed with High Explosives for kamikaze missions. And the reason I have so many is that Guanyu Aerospace Technologies manufactures them. Basically, I MAKE these things.

3 more aircraft carriers and 2 submarines are destroyed by the flying assault, so are 2 cargo ships.

In the meanwhile literally hundreds of merchant ships are loaded with troops and equipment and sent towards Aoogah.

Guanyu has sent two more Atlantis Assault subs, the last new forces we will be adding to this engagement for the forseeable future, to intercept the merchant ships of the Aooogish coast. As they are merely trading ships we expect little resistance in blowing them out of the water. We have also withdrawn one of the three subs that were sent to attack the main Allanean fleet, so at this time six subs are stationed near Aooogah, two attacking the fleet, two attacking the merchants, and two patrolling to keep out enemy reinforcements from the battleground.

All Allanean ships begin QUICK movement towards the Aoogan coast.

100 TU-22M3's and 50 TU-160's (from home base) are sent out to bomb any military installations on the shoreline.

In response to the Allanean fleet movements, 25,000 Stingers have been sent to destroy the Allanean fighters and another 25,000 to destroy the bombers. The remaining 50,000 remain to defend the Rapier IIs, which have returned to base to rearm and will be returning to the battle shortly. Meanwhile, the two Atlantis subs sent to intercept the merchant ships are closing quickly and should intercept soon. The two attacking the main fleet continue to pour fire into the enemy ships with yet another, though less exhaustive, barrage of destructive weaponry. (Damage Post plz) Guanyu's 500 Metal Slug 002 Special Tank Units prepare to hold the coastal defense line and repel the invaders.

Bright flashes illuminate the sky, sending countless Stingers to their doom. However, 150 Coulters are already lost. Explosions shake the decks of at least five merchant ships, and immediately, depth charges are employed. But it doesn't save an Allanean aircraft carrier and an SSBN from the deadly torpedoes.

In the meanwhile, two Allanean cargo ships are withing sight of shore, just in time to see the bombers and fighters rain death and destruction on the Metal Slugs.

OOC: Three slight problems I have with that last post, Allanea. The first is that I can see maybe 10,000 max of my Stingers falling to EMP but I sent 25,000 (Reasonable negotiation of the 10,000 number is possible). Plus you don't seem to have adressed the other 25,000 I sent to take out the bombers and I don't see any damage posts for anti aircraft fire from the Metal Slugs. I don't mean to be an ass about this, but I don't think that's reasonable. (btw three of the four Atlantis subs took minor damage from the depth charges.)

Within the first few hours, 100 tanks and over 3,000 troops are there. Also, 25 troops are killed during landing. The main strike is only about to begin, as the merchant ships (about 150 of them) are carrying about 15,000 troops in total.

Allanea, I'm beginning to become annoyed. I don't think there is any way you can justify having any forces LEFT after the attacks you've undergone. If you can't explain to me how this is not RP-Dodging, I'm pulling out of this RP.

Somewhere in the desert, a behemoth rises from the sands. The Infidel Evaporator is a particle beam cannon that fires for 30 seconds but that alone has the power of one Hiroshima bomb. However, it cannot destroy an entire city because it can only take out one target at a time, it takes 8 hours to charge, and every time the particle cannon is used there is a 30% chance of the Aooogah power grid being fried in the process.

There is no united command center, the different generals/officials who make the decision reside in bunkers around the country, connecting to each other through video conferencing software (a "virtual command center" of sorts). The location of the bunkers is classified, but it's possible you could know about (and hit) one of them.

A command bunker and 1000 troops are killed, together with a nearby village.

10 1-megaton nuclear ICBM's are launched, 2 at the Evaporator, 5 at the Aoogah command center (if there is one), and 3 at 3 various military bases.

The Evaporator takes considerable damage but was able to retract back into its bunker before it could be completely destroyed. It will take 72 hours to repair before it can be used again. The laser point defense systems installed at our military bases manage to ward off two of the missiles with the last one hitting its target destroying the military base and slaughtering 6,000,000 civilians in the nearby city of Errah Errah. The remaining five were wasted on a dummy command center placed in the desert to fool Allanean intel, the real command center is miles away.

In retaliation we launch our entire stock of Infidel Fryers (50,000 total) at ICBM facilities all across Allanea.

Judging from the amount of ICBM's already launched, I feel that too much is at risk for my people, my soldiers, and innocent civilians to continue in this war, especially when I have another fleet deployed into combat elsewhere.

So these waves are not capsizing your allies and any ships even a little close to Aoogah? Plus, these waves don't just stop in the middle of the ocean, they go on for quite some time. I wouldn't be surpised if small nations were feeling it as their small costal villages are being crushed by the huge waves...

I have been tolerating this in hopes that a good RP could be salvaged out of it, and because I am hesitant to ignore anyone (I generally dislike ignores). At this point however this war has become stupid and meaningless. I will state the three options simply:

1. If Allanea wants to continue this RP (though I can't speak for Aooogah) they had better grow a brain stem and stop flinging nukes around. Consider the points made by Iuthia. They are valid and should not be ignored. And I just have to say....nuclear SURFACE TO AIR MISSILES? COME ON, FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE! OOC: My point is that 1 megaton nuclear blasts underwater will capsize your ships, the waves created from such a underwater blast would be phomonimal (sp), I don't think it would mater if they are 300 miles away, waves don't just stop, they keep going for quite some time.

Why do you think RL nation test their weapons underground (in some cases slightly above ground). But no nation would be stupid enough to use nuclear weapons underwater or at least not in the way you are...

Why? Well becuase the nuclear material will cover alot of area in a very short period of time, the currents of the ocean will be throwing out radioactive fish for a long long time in areas completely unrelated to Aoogah... not to mention the huge waves that will undoubtable destroy small seaside villages and towns for quite some distance.

Basically, I want either of the following two thing to happen:

A: You retract your comment of using underwater nuclear weapons... or better yet all of them becuase you two are using way too many really expensive nuclear weapons.

B: You capsize your navy and probably some of Dark Terrors navy, causing the death of tens of thousands of service men and women. But at the same time really mess up the opposition...

If you don't do this I am just going to put you and DT on my ignore list, which I don't like doing but quite frankly I don't like it when the most powerful weapons on earth are used like conventional explodsives.

OOC: You can pretend to be someone who as access to that part of the network by decrypting someone's password using a password cracker. In a private network that's as big as the one you are proposing there is probably a loophole somewhere where one can get access, for example through a general's own personal computer.

You cannot have a network as big as the one you are proposing without having some sort of Internet connection because what if one of your ethernet cables snap? Then that command bunker would not be able to access the comm network unless he could dial into the network which would require that the network be connected to the Internet.

The videoconferencing software is dead. While it's being fixed, other, more mundane software is used to connect.

An Allanean EW group backtracks the IP of one of the hackers. Two cruise missiles are launched by the allanean Navy at his home.

I admit, I assumed we were talking about big nukes becuase you didn't specify the yield, and you had previously used 1 megaton nuclear weapons, eitherway you have to know where about the stealth submarines are for them to be effective, seeing as they should be at lose range I assume you can't use your depth charges at that range.

Plus, from the limited information I can find, you will still cause a pretty big wave, which will still hit a large area, pretty much everything a little close to the Aoogah boarder. The bigger the explodsion the bigger the waves will be when then hit.

As for the evironmental effects... the less said the better... part of me screems to ignore nations that use nuclear weapons to cause a big explodion instead of using normal weapons to the same effect. But seeing as it could happen in real life I don't automatically ignore nuclear weapons. Instead my nation is disgusted at the whole thing.

I'll give you a chance to further explain why your weapons. Personally I don't think you are far away enough to use nuclear depth charage effectivly, becuase you have to be close to know a sleath sub is near by and the further away you are the more area you have to cover with the charges, I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to nuke a circle around themselves to get some subs they shouldn't know about.

Way, way smaller than megaton-class nukes. Remember, they were tested IRL. Acccording to scientists, you are completely safe from the blast effects when you're further than 10 km from the explosion of a 1-kt nuke.

The cellphone network is temporarily dead. The stockmarket is affected and the Allanean Dollar takes a plunge, but the military proceeds to use their radio frequencies.

In the meanwhile, the planes are in range. They split up into small groups and procedd to drop small (5-kt) nuclear charges on any Aoogan military base that they can find.

Kilojoules of laser energy begin to fill the air around the Warhammer as laser batteries discharge deadly beams from all over the ship's surface. Designed to destroy any enemy aircraft in the vicinity, the laser bombardment decimates everything in the region more than one hundred meters above Aooogah, leaving only a few straggler ships behind in it's wake. Then 12,000 Rapier Fighters swarm from the launch bays to clean up the remaining aircraft. Within minutes all enemy resistance has ended.

"Call back the fighters. Losses?"

"We lost fourteen Rapiers, sir. Within acceptable limits for the strike parameters."

"Continue an aerial sweep of the area. We must be sure that no enemy aircraft remain before commencing our attack on the other Allanean forces."

ooc: That might have been one of the reasons...but it most definately was not the only one. I grew up in Italy and we learn about this from grade school.

Some other reasons were: Decreased Population from disease and the split into the Eastern and Western Empires, arrival of the Huns which moved to displace the many barbarian tribes which had no choice but to converge upon Rome. Dwindling nationalism due to years of terrible Emperors and lack of resources to A) Equip its army, train them, and feed them and B) continue with the amount of improvements to the infastructure that made the Pax Romana famous.

If I had to find one thing to single out, it would definately be the seperation into two Empires and the resulting loss of important land in Northern Africa and the Middle East, from where they got so much income, grain and wheat, horses and metals.

Turhanistan isn't going to be part of the Jihad, but let's voluntary soldiers to reinforce Aooogah regiments, but Aooogah has to provide weapons and other equipment for the soldiers.

About 20700 voluntary troops want to join the Jihad under command of Aooogah. (As they are voluntaries, not having an officer from Turhanistan commanding them, they are there just to be commanded by Aooogah)

The act to do this is almost compulsory, the most moslem moslems in the Turhanistan are almost revolting against their Sultan, if they won't be let to go peacefully.

Ten military bases are lost, each were top secret facilities developing fighters and bombers for the Aooogah Air Corps.

The jihad minister walks up cautiously to the Messiah.
"Messiah, I have disturbing news. The Allanean Air Force have managed to find our facilities developing our air force."
Ad-adabib begins to think for a moment.
"Mohammed... didn't I tell you that we didn't need an air force? That having an air force gives one bad gas?"

There's 70 bombers left. They drop a 5-kt bomb each on various military bases (concentrating on SAM sites) and head home, having exhausted their nuclear payload.

The remainder of our stationary SAM sites are lost, however our Infidel Swatters remain unscaved. The Infidel Swatters retaliate by launching a total of 4500 at the bomber squadron.

We would like to thank Free Rumania for selling us 100 ICBM's.

10 of them, equipped with one-megaton warheads, are launched immediately upon deployment, timed to hit the Infidel Evaporator at 10-minute intervals.

The Infidel Evaporator retreats into its blastproof silo having suffered critical damage from 3 ICBMs. It's going to take quite a bit longer to fix it this time.

Allanea has asked us to surrender in exchange for the annexation of our nation.

We refuse.

Our people will never surrender to Allanean scum, even if it means our people being lost to a nuclear holocaust.
